‘The way’ isn’t a path, a lifestyle or a religion. 8/22/16

This is such an important topic today. I have heard many people say that they they believe there are many roads to Heaven and many paths to Salvation. It always comes on the heals of the realization that something in their life, in their walk, is a topic of contention. They either refuse to give up something or do not feel the need to surrender to any authority. There has never been a bigger lie that a person can fall for. Satan has pulled the biggest smoke screen over the most important area of belief that a human can hold. As long as a person is ignorant there is less chance that they will surrender to Gods authority and be spared.
Make no mistake about this one fact, "the way" was never a religion, an idealogy or a lifestyle. 'The way' as it is referred to, in the Bible, is the Person, Jesus Christ. There is only one and could only be one, for the nature of what 'the way' means. It is the ransoming of souls, paid for through the spotless, sinless living. More importantly, through the blood shed propitiation, which He alone endured on the cross. Beyod the grave, He also secured every believers placement in heaven by conquering hell, sentencing and tethering Satan. It takes more than just believing in Jesus, believe you me, satan believes in Jesus too, he just doesn't follow Him. Get the point.
As a human, you are owned. Whether you know it or not. By default, every soul (through the blood line curse of original sin) is indebted to pay a price that they can not, that price is death. Those who are saved, have been bailed out of that debt by Jesus. His life was offered up as payment for all who would believe on Him and accept Him as their Lord, unto Salvation. He being God, as man, grafted divine blood with our human bood and made us heirs through His resurrection.
If a person is in a burning building, knowing that there is a clear and unobstructed exit, a way of escape, what sense does it make to opt for the rooftop or the window? Both of those options have innumerable obstacles and irreversible consequences. Yes, you would escape the fire BUT you wouldn't escape the death. That thinking is perillous and void of critical sense. Many people overlook the open, unobstructed doorway of Christ, for ridiculous thinking. There is no better option, there are no benefits to any other way that can save your eternal soul. It's like the person who needs more food that chooses to eat the seed rather than plant it. They satisfy the now by comprising the forever. They want to hold onto their fleshly passions, their earthly treasures or they think, "if this doesn't work maybe that will work"?! Not so. Life and death isn't a multiple choice decision, it's ride or die!
Ironically, the very first symbol of the way of escape from Eternal Death is the OPEN DOORWAY of the TOMB, a stone weighing a ton set aside by Jesus as the resurrected Christ. You can not get a more clear and conscise, unobstructed way of escape than that!
I pray that the Holy Spirit  touches those who are passing up the open door for the old decrepid wonky window, or the hot long climb to the roof. Jesus is calling you, come quickly!

Ephesians 2:1-22
And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— ...

And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” But they have not all obeyed the gospel.
