Meekness is like the Gentle Giant 12-29-14

Matthew 5:5

“Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.”

Let's take a look at the word meek. The definition that best describes this characteristic is the word "allowing" or "non-resistant" this is the result of GREAT confidence, courage and peacefulness, which is far from being weak! Meekness is like the Gentle Giant!

meek
mēk/
adjective
adjective: meek; comparative adjective: meeker; superlative adjective: meekest
quiet, gentle, and easily imposed on; submissive.
"I used to call her Miss Mouse because she was so meek and mild"
synonyms:submissive, yielding, obedient, compliant, tame, biddable, tractable, acquiescent, humble, deferential, timid, unprotesting, unresisting,

A proper understanding and alignment with being amenable to God's word, the rules of this universe and the vast amount of well being which is available to us, will serve you well on the path of meekness!

The best way to prepare yourself and learn how to be this way is to study the function of a compass. That little needle that seems to be floating, yet it responds immediately, effortlessly, to which ever direction you are turned. When you are in the correct direction, your needle lines up with the desired point. When you find yourself pointed toward the opposing, it's just an indicator for you to adjust your direction, in attitude which will in also adjust you in spiritual altitude as well.

Wherever you are currently, is just an outcome of all the previous steps. Except, for most people, its the result of lots of directional changes without the benefit of the compass and without a proper understanding of your relationship to it.

This compass is the Holy Spirit! It let's you know when you are lined up with what is best for you. It's calibrated with advice scribed out of God's Holy word. When you are not lined up, you find confusion, dis-ease, worry, anxiety, distress. I am reminded of a time, when the Holy Spirit showed me something, in the process of trying to remove a knot from a necklace. The more I tugged and yanked, the worse it got, the resistance I had to the knot made it worse. It wasn't until I tried to remove the tension from the knot, which gave the material some wiggle room, so that I could pull the tail and make enough room to bring the rest of the chain through that loop effectively freeing the chain from its constriction. Our problems, often are solved this same way!

Learning to comply with the Holy Spirit is a skill, that can only be taught through faith and trust. When we digest (read & learn) Gods word, put it into action and rest in His promises, we find that we have a steadfast adviser, a constant companion, an all knowing seer, navigating for us before we ever even get to the fork in the road! Aligning with your compass is becoming non resistant to Gods word, going in the direction of His advice, allowing the Spirit and God's will to have His way.

Heavenly Father, I pray that your children would come to know You as the able and true confidant that You are! That ears would begin to hear only Your words of direction, that paths would light up for Your children, illuminating for us which is the best and most desirable path to take. Lord, I pray that Your courage and strength would permeate us, bolstering us toward our inevitable best purpose. Thank you Lord, that You see and know exactly the best dose for each of us in accord with our spiritual growth, making us more effective and bringing us into better communion with You! In Jesus Mighty name, we praise and thank You!

John 16:13
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Acts 11:11-14
11 “Right then three men who had been sent to me from Caesarea stopped at the house where I was staying. 12 The Spirit told me to have no hesitation about going with them. These six brothers also went with me, and we entered the man’s house. 13 He told us how he had seen an angel appear in his house and say, ‘Send to Joppa for Simon who is called Peter. 14 He will bring you a message through which you and all your household will be saved.’

Romans 8:14
14 For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

Luke 12:12
12 for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.”

Ephesians 1:13-14 “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession.”

Romans 8:26-27: “The Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered

Ezekiel 36:27 “I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.”

Zechariah 4: 6 "Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts.”

Jesus, the Gift that keeps on giving 12-22-14

John 15:12-14

12 “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command you.”

You see, one could read this and walk away perceiving that we are to Love, even to the point of ultimate sacrifice. Jesus wants to be our friend, He wants us to obey him, but he also wants us to Lay Down Our Lives for Him, as He laid down His for us.

When He says, "that someone lay down His life for his friends" yes, Jesus physically laid down His life for us, His friends. That we are His friends, if we do what He commands. To be an effective friend we have to love in this same manner. The laying down of our life for Him, consists in dying to ourselves, our worldly inclinations. It consists in the willingness to loose the major part of our will for His.

Our sacrifice (whatever it is, small or large) is so insignificant in comparison to His. So less painful, embarrassing, humiliating! Stop to think of what He truly gave up and endured for this privilege, He gave to us the privilege of being reconciled to Him and ultimately. reconciled with the Father!

You received the best GIFT, 2000+ years ago, from a friend who knew you before you did!

Merry Christmas and may God Richly Bless you! Make sure to share the LOVE in your heart with everyone you see!

Clarity and poise 12-15-14

In order to be understood and to understand, we must strive for clarity!

We can not get the wrong notion that all we need do is name it to claim it, and think positive thoughts and everything will float into our hands. Nay, but rather, we must align ourselves with the thoughts, ideals, beliefs and readiness, should those things come into our experience, so that they are not missed, overlooked, or taken for granted!

Several times this week, the concept of SPEAKING distinctly, correctly, succinctly and in alignment with that which is right, good and true has been the topic of conversation and passing commentary. I am revisiting something that I have covered before, in my going on 5 years now, Monday Morning Message. It's just as relevant now as it was when God first impressed upon me to share it.

The Lord has led me to a greater understanding; deliverance for so many is at hand! A friend of a friend bought a book & then shared some of it's nuggets; this book is pressed down~ shaken together, a gift filled with God's word. It has unlocked some powerful truths. It has helped draw forward empowerment,  it is in full alignment. I have gleaned in the fields of the Lord and the harvest is at hand! Bring your hunger, bring your thirst and have your fill!

Love & faith are only experienced, only effective in ACTION...(like the word ATTRACTION) the word action is always present! It is God's Love in action (through Christ's sacrifice) that we have salvation &  it is through Faith (in action) confessing Jesus Christ as the Triune & risen Messiah that we are able to receive His inheritance eternally. Rom 10:9-10 This book says that what we confess we also posses! Is the confession of your lips eradicating your blessings? Are your words opposing God's? Do not believe or buy into the ugly lie that may be staring you in the face..poverty, oppression, sickness or depression!

Hosea 4: 6 (KJV) My people perish from a lack of knowledge.
He wants us educated, enlightened &  informed of the promises, blessings, gifts, abilities, provisions, mercies & miracles. Explicitly, His words are endorsed and backed... from before the foundations of this world and far beyond into all of eternity!

So, yes this book I found seems to be worthy of reading but the message that it offers is readily attainable, right now, all you need do is crack open your Bible and begin to recognize every promise of God, every single word of His prophecy and promise to us is a SURE thing!

The other book I have referenced is called: "The Power Of Your Words" by Don Gossett and E.W. Kenyon. It is filled with references to scripture and I have found it to be a great and helpful companion on the subject of faith, belief, and the power of our speech. I had to special order mine through Barnes & Noble but have found it might be easier to get it through Amazon direct...Here is a handy link for ordering it, the page in it takes you to at Amazon has the book available in English and Spanish :>>>

http://alturl.com/hf74y

Here are some nuggets to devour....(let the confession of your mouth be aligned with the confession that the word of God instructs us in)

I confess Romans 10:13... I possess an all knowing for sure salvation For I have called upon the name of the Lord!
I confess Psalm 121:7... I possess preservation from All Evil all the time, asleep or awake!
I confess Matthew 5:8... I possess the assurance of seeing God through the blood of Jesus Christ
I confess Psalm 29:11... I possess PEACE and an abundance of strength
I confess Psalm 68:19... I possess a life loaded with God's daily blessings and benefits
I confess John 8:12... I possess a light from the Lord above to guide my every step on this life's journey
I confess 2 Corinthians 9:8... I posses all grace; abounding Grace, saving grace, healing grace, baptizing grace, all sufficient.
I confess Luke 1:37 ...I possess limitless possibilities in Christ.
I confess Acts 2:17... I possess the spirit of God poured out upon me & all that I come in contact with.
I confess Psalm 103:12... I possess ultimate pardon for my sins and God remembers them no more!

The reaSON, the seaSON, the perSON! 12-8-14

A Miracle unnoticed, or unrecognized is no less impressive than one celebrated!

This brings us to the topic of Today's message...."CELEBRATE" Is the miracle in the celebration or the celebration in the miracle? Its both!

Many people seem to have this cloud looming over, during the Holidays, melancholy, depression, lack of excitement! All for many reasons, who lost a child, who lost a parent, who is sick, who lost their job, and well frankly, the list is as wide and varied as life is.

I am no different than anyone else, having had my share of life events and in times past, yes Its effected my joy because I allowed it BUT that is no longer. One thing my dearly departed parents would cringe at, is the knowledge that all they did to make the holidays special for myself and my siblings would be hampered, hindered or halted by their absence. Even when they were alive, what fun would it have been on Christmas morning for all of us kids to wake up and find two people grumbling & complaining about all the hardships they faced, decorating, shopping, wrapping and all the 'fixins' that went into making it what it was?! No, they never said a word! The main message we received out of all of it was "enjoy"! Their main intention was to cause us to have JOY and then enjoy having us experience that joy!

The Lord showed me something so interesting. This is exactly how it is for us, here and now, right where we are. He wants us to recognize and appreciate the things that are worth focusing on. There are miracles every day;  eyesight, hearing, sunrises, sunsets, conception, birth. In these miracles I have listed, we also have a picture of the GREATEST MIRACLE for which we could ever celebrate. To see Salvation, to hear the Good News, The rising of the Son- Jesus Christ, whom set the the Stars and the planets in their orbit, the conception of God as Man in the womb or Mary and His humble birth into the very fabric of humanity which He himself wove and spun!

This is the REAL celebration, this is the real JOY! The miracle is Christ and the celebration needs to go on. In little ways, in big ways, in the every day! Do not let the enemy rob you of this joy! Recognize that life is for the living. Even if its only the memories of Christmas past that gentle pluck at your heart, embrace them. Find something worth celebrating and do it to the very best of your ability!

The best gift we can give the LORD, is to recognize His gift to us, to do our best to LOVE others and to help lighten their load, gifts of kindness mean more than gold. Gifts of friendship, time, laughter, harmony, these are the gifts that make the biggest impact! I hope you get and give gifts such as these, that is my wish!

Christmas isn't in the day, it's in the hearts and minds of those who celebrate Gods goodness. It's early enough still,  you can celebrate all the miraculous & wondrous things all around you. Start today!

Psalm 118:24

This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Psalm 145:7

They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.

“Be full of joy in the Lord always. I will say again, be full of joy. Let everyone see that you are gentle and kind. The Lord is coming soon” Philippians 4:4-5

“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field” – Matthew 13:44

To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen – Jude 1:2-5

How can we thank God enough for you in return for all the joy we have in the presence of our God because of you? – 1 Thessalonians 3:9

For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock. Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me; at his sacred tent I will sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the Lord. Hear my voice when I call, Lord; be merciful to me and answer me. – Psalm 27:5-7

Hate evil, you lovers of the Eternal. He protects the souls of those who follow Him; He rescues them from the devices of the wicked. Light is sown in the just; as it grows, it brings joy to the pure of heart. Celebrate the Eternal God, all you who are faithful; offer thanks to His holy name. – Psalm 97:10-12

“Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man. Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their ancestors treated the prophets.” – Luke 6:22-23

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” – James 1:2-3

Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. – Psalm 126:2-3

Many, Lord, are asking, “Who will bring us prosperity?” Let the light of your face shine on us. Fill my heart with joy when their grain and new wine abound. In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. - Psalm 4:6-8
And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord. – Psalm 27:6
Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy. For the Lord Most High is awesome, the great King over all the earth. He subdued nations under us, peoples under our feet. – Psalm 47:1-3
My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to you— I whom you have delivered. – Psalm 71:23

Reserve your blessings by serving others 12/1/14

We all know we should give more, who hasn't had an inspiration to do this or that, here or there, especially at the holidays! The real spark is when you are so inspired and just give into it, with no hesitations! No matter where you are on the abundance scale, there is always something you can do, give or offer. Sometimes, you just have to be creative. After all, its the thought that counts, the intent and the follow through!

There are certain laws, which God orchestrated for our experiences here, such as gravity, attraction and gratitude. Gravity keeps you from floating off into space, a good thing in my opinion, but it can certainly be harmful, if not understood or misused; I remember my brother learning about it, when he received a gift for Christmas one year called 'Kirbangers' (shortly there after they were pulled from the market) LOL

If you are a blessing to others, YOU will also, likewise, be blessed! Those blessings are innumerable, because like a pebble thrown into a brook, the ripples just spread! Far and wide, it creates an effect and sets in motion a vibration of openness, thankfulness and gratitude!

If you're needing some inspiration or suggestions, allow me...

1. Food for the Poor....they are reputable and they do marvelous things for the poorest of the poor.
----> http://www.foodforthepoor.org/

2. http://fhlkidsranch.com an orphanage in the Phillipines that cares for 40+ children, housing, feeding, clothing and education them, with LOVE!

3. Send a simple card, a thank you, some newspaper clippings, some comics, a crossword puzzle, anything. Our Heroes deserve to know they are appreciated!
 http://www.redcross.org/support/get-involved/holiday-mail-for-heroes

The main point here is that it doesn't have to be some over the top gesture, and you would be surprised what you can do or come up with when you are inspired enough and open to giving!

The REAL gift is in the GIVING. Its my prayer that you will discover this JOY for yourself!

Giving
Is
From
Thankfulness

Have a BLESSED week!

Deuteronomy 15:10

Give generously to him and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.

Deuteronomy 16:17

Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD your God which He has given you.

1 Chronicles 29:9

Then the people rejoiced because they had offered so willingly, for they made their offering to the Lord with a whole heart, and King David also rejoiced greatly.

Proverbs 3:27

Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it.

Proverbs 11:24-25

There is one who scatters, and yet increases all the more, and there is one who withholds what is justly due, and yet it results only in want. The generous man will be prosperous, and he who waters will himself be watered.

Proverbs 21:26

…the righteous gives and does not hold back.

Proverbs 22:9

He who is generous will be blessed, for he gives some of his food to the poor.

Proverbs 28:27

He who gives to the poor will never want, but he who shuts his eyes will have many curses.

Malachi 3:10

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.

Matthew 6:3-4

But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.

Mark 12:41-44

And He sat down opposite the treasury, and began observing how the people were putting money into the treasury; and many rich people were putting in large sums. A poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which amount to a cent. Calling His disciples to Him, He said to them, “Truly I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all the contributors to the treasury; for they all put in out of their surplus, but she, out of her poverty, put in all she owned, all she had to live on.”

Luke 3:11

And he would answer and say to them, “The man who has two tunics is to share with him who has none; and he who has food is to do likewise.”

Luke 6:30

Give to everyone who asks of you, and whoever takes away what is yours, do not demand it back.

Luke 6:38

Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him wouldn’t perish, but would have eternal life.

Acts 20:35

In everything I showed you that by working hard in this manner you must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Romans 12:8

…Or he who exhorts, in his exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

2 Corinthians 9:6-8

Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.

2 Corinthians 9:10

Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness;

Philippians 4:15-17

And you yourselves also know, Philippians, that at the first preaching of the gospel, after I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving but you alone; for even in Thessalonica you send a gift more than once for my needs. Not that I seek the gift itself, but I seek for the profit which increases to your account.

James 2:15-16

If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that?

GOoD Hugs! 11/24/14

I have two cats, one is very affectionate and would let me do just about anything I wanted, he just loves and trusts me that much! The other one, well, she desires to be close, to have attention, but she shrugs at being held. In fact she often resists, and meows as if she is being tortured. She must not like being flipped over on her back or being constrained!? Oh well, sometimes, she earns her keep by allowing me a quick hug and a kiss on her fuzzy little head! Even after I set her down, after all her whining and wriggling, she swings back around to rub against my leg, secretly she likes it, she feels my love, I just know it!

This reminded me of something. I watched in a video the other day, God carries us, and holds us close because He too is just so fond of us. He is concerned, loving and ever vigilant over what may come upon us. We can rest assured that even when we feel the most alone, confused, hurt or dismayed; He is right there, witnessing, encouraging, shadowing our every movement, every moment of the ordeal! He is also there for every accomplishment, every victory and happy event, smiling from ear to ear like a proud parent!

Many of us will get to spend time with friends and family over these next few weeks. Many people will also not be able to be with the ones they love, for various reasons, illness, death or locational displacement, especially our Service men & women. Lets hold them up in prayer during this Holiday season.

We know that God works through people. We know that we all need and enjoy a good hug once in a while. Would you consider giving every person you come across during this Holiday a warm and gracious hug. Allow the love of the Lord to flow through you unto them! Instead of the usual handshake, or quick kiss on the cheek, give them a warm and meaningful embrace! It really does Make such a difference!

Life would be very bland if we didn't have the contrast of what doesn't feel good to appreciate what DOES feel good. So, the best way to deal with things that may arise that don't fit into the "feel good" category, is to acknowledge them and then turn your attention to the contrasting opposite. It works every time, I promise! Its based on the mindset of, "if you know you're heading the wrong way, don't keep traveling down that wrong turn",  start from where you are and head toward where you want to be!

I pray that when you're dreaming or driving or just sitting with yourself, in a quiet moment, that you will be able to feel Gods embrace, so tangibly distinguishable. Where every fear is squashed, every worry vanishes, comfort overtakes you physically and you feel so alive, so valuable, so loved! Because you are!

"Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms." Psalm 68:19

Deut 33:27
The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.

Isaiah 40:11
"11 He tends his flock like a shepherd:
He gathers the lambs in his arms
and carries them close to his heart;
he gently leads those that have young."
Listen to this great song and video: "Walk with me", by Jesus Culture!

Not Selfish, just be RESULTISH!

You are No good to anyone if you can not first be good to yourself. Now is where the definition of Good comes into focus. What is good for some may be considered NOT GOOD. Especially in this day & age, we are warned that good is being deemed evil and evil is being misconstrued as somehow being OK or acceptable.

Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Let's put it in a different light. Perceive yourself, your emotions, your burdens and your liberation from the vantage of point of Christ. He bore our burdens and instructed us to worry and fret not. (Matthew 6;25) He advised us that our emotions can not always be trusted**. They are to be used as a barometer, if it feels bad, stay away from it, in physicality as well as spirituality. There is no need to embrace the hot stove, that's what we have senses for. If for some reason you get too close to the hot stove of doubt, guilt, shame, etc., move away from it, in thought and proximity.

Focus and intensity play a great part in our daily lives. If we neglect to focus on where we are driving to, we could get sidetracked or miss our turn. If intensity is a problem, the minor things in life can serve to set you off like a cannon or volcano. Temperance is necessary, we need to be sensitive to our surroundings and that input, the reactions that the temporal is serving us BUT we are not to be controlled by it. His word says DO NOT BE MOVED!  See scriptures below that illustrate why we are not to solely trust our emotions.

Your first priority in life is YOU and YOUR Relationship with the Almighty. In order to be in good standing there, it requires open communication, time together and a deep understanding of what is expected, allowed and acceptable.

Expect all of Gods good for your life! This should lead to happiness and obedience.
Allow for all of Gods good in your life! This should result in confidence and hope.
Accept all of Gods good for your life. This should result in peace and provision.

Never speak defeat over your life, your circumstances or events. They are only temporary appearances based on several misaligned factors. Trust the word of God and deny those things that do not line up. When I say deny I mean avoid, ignore, become creative in describing them if you must but strip them of their destructive power BY de-fueling them!

Here are two examples of the same event, one explanation is reality based and the other explanation is transformation based.

1. Every time I turn on the news, I see things that scare and disturb me. It causes such anxiety, the images and sounds can stick with me all day and it makes me not want to go anywhere or do anything. How can I be happy when so many people all around the world are suffering such extreme conditions?! What if something like that happens here?

2. I have learned that I can extract the information I truly need from a few select & trusted sources. I avoid exposing myself to unfiltered causal platforms, designed to provoke the viewer. I consult God before every execution of every plan, I go out in peace and I return under the same blanket of safety His love provides. Even if things change as I am out and about, God is with me and foreknows every turn. I live carefree and waste no time rehearsing bad things. I fully expect to meet every good blessing that I have focused on and have prepared for.  I can not help someone who is scared by becoming fearful. I can not help someone who is hungry by becoming malnourished. I can not help someone who is being persecuted by abandoning my faith. I can not help someone who is being wrongfully treated by self- deprecating. My best contribution is to LOVE God and myself to the best of my ability and show others how to do the same.

**Proverbs 14:12 There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.
**Proverbs 28:26 He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, But whoever walks wisely will be delivered.

All You Could Ask For 11/10/14

It's customary for a parent or caretaker to set up & prepare a schedule for their child on how things are to unfold, whether it be school or activities, day to day concerns for nutrition, clothing, entertainment and all of the necessities involved.

Is God, as our parent, any less concerned or prepared for our welfare? He has parlayed a vast amount of information to instruct us as well as every resource available and accessible to assist us.

WE are instructed to come to the Lord as little children.... most parents bend over backwards to make sure that their child can lay their head on their pillow at night, care free. Mark 11:24 says that "whatever things we desire we should believe that we receive them (ask for them in prayer believing) and they are ours." Scripture also says, "all things work together for the good of those who love and serve the Lord" Romans 8:28 this leaves us to only conclude that yes, sometimes things don't immediately appear or may seem contrary, so we have to extrapolate and figure out how to deal with the situations and what our attitude should be.

Wen we meet a challenge or an unpleasant circumstance, it is most assuredly one of these scenarios:

1. The enemy thwarted or blocked something that was being sent for our advantage
(example the angel Gabriel that was restrained by the prince of Persia. (Daniel 10: 13-20)
2. The situation didn't unfold as we thought it should, but God in His divine Omniscience knows the overall outcome and chose the best possible set up for a future blessing versus temporary or fleeting satisfaction.

Given the knowledge, the understanding and the Nature of the Loving Father, we can safely conclude
that we, as His children are understood, cared for, provided for, acknowledged, accounted for and deeply loved! So its our job, to simply be at ease, Loving and Trusting Him. Its our instruction by Him to remain confident and full of joy! Scripture tells us to be happy and content all the time, No matter what the external conditions. This isn't meant to be an irritation or some out of reach (doesn't apply to me or you, kind of response) It's meant to be a reminder to you, when those moments arrive, on How to shrug them off. How you can properly move out of the position of desolate, destitute or despair as quickly as possible. This faith and courage we are summoned to harness will serve us, for He is able and shall never suffer us to "slip" Psalm 121:3  in His name we shall not be "ashamed" psalm 34:5

O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me. Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause. -- Psalm 25:2, 3
...Behold, I lay in Zion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
-- I Peter 2:6
All of Psalm 31, but particularly:
In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.
But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God.
Let me not be ashamed, O LORD; for I have called upon thee....
-- Psalm 31:1, 14, 17
The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
-- Psalm 34:22
In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.
-- Psalm 71:1
Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.
-- Psalm 119:116
Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them. They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.
-- Psalm 22:4, 5
They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
-- Psalm 34:5
For the Scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Not just when you sneeze 11/3/14

As cold and flu season seems to be upon us, I was inspired to highlight this common practice. It is customary and widely accepted to say, "God Bless you" when someone sneezes. This was adopted theoretically at some point during the 1st 100 years after Christ's death, at a point in History when the bubonic plague was running amuck. The benediction was thought to ward of or shield one from illness and evil.

In some cultures, sneezing is seen as a sign of good fortune or God's beneficence.[9][13] As such, alternative responses to sneezing sometimes adopted by English speakers are the German word Gesundheit (meaning "health"), the Irish word sláinte (meaning "good health"), and the Spanish salud (also meaning "health"). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/God_bless_you
Does this need to relegated to just when we sneeze?! I feel quite comfortable in blessing others all through out the day. If no one will offer you this statement of blessing, you can invoke it yourself. "God Bless me!"  He does and He will. He is the author and finisher of our faith, true to His word, magnificent, merciful & masterful.

Try it out, say the words, "God Bless me" once an hour all day long and see how you feel by the end of the day, end of the week, end of the month. It's common for us to excuse ourselves, for unfortunate happenstances such as a burp or a cough, why shouldn't we ask God to Bless to us. He is faithful to answer our request, it is just us who neglect to invoke the goodness!

This is an added layer of protection and grace available to us all, Let us embrace it and utilize it as often as possible. The effort is minimal but the benefits are great!

Have a BLESSED week, & may GOD RICHLY BLESS YOU IN CHRIST JESUS!
Numbers 6:24 The LORD bless you, and keep you:
Deuteronomy 15:6 For the LORD thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.

Psalm 67

For the director of music. With stringed instruments. A psalm. A song.

May God be gracious to us and bless us
and make his face shine on us—[b]
so that your ways may be known on earth,
    your salvation among all nations.
May the peoples praise you, God;
may all the peoples praise you.
May the nations be glad and sing for joy,
for you rule the peoples with equity
and guide the nations of the earth.
May the peoples praise you, God;
may all the peoples praise you.
The land yields its harvest;
    God, our God, blesses us.
May God bless us still,
so that all the ends of the earth will fear him.

A Direct Line Just In Time 10-27-14

We all have rough patches in life, to different degrees, at different times, especially when we forget who we are and who belong to. Our father in heaven is evermore concerned with our welfare, as any loving parent would be. We have this advocate and confidant, in Him. He wants us to seek Him, rely upon Him, turn to Him. This should be our constant state of communication, not just when we are in trouble. The dialogue that develops as we confide in Him, and surrender to what is, choosing His peace and happiness no matter what the outer circumstances seem to be projecting, is critical. The word supports this, we are to be focused on Him and what He says is truth, not the lies of this world.

Moments of doubt & wandering are natural, but we must not waste valuable energy or resources on this. Faith & belief are the substance of things hoped for. A royal inheritance for the children of His kingdom, provision & opportunity for those who seek His face, delighting in Him.  We are to trust, to pray, offer obedience & relinquish our struggle. Does His word say, sit, worry, toil and fret? NO! It says we should do the opposite. David praised his way right out of calamity.

Thank you Lord that You are so Loving, Mighty and Merciful!   You are already at work in the lives of all who read this, lining up opportunities, protecting families and children, blocking the enemy from devouring, delivering health and wellness to those challenged in their health, providing financial abundance, deliverance, salvation, lavish homes, suitable vehicles, vacations, educational tuitions, money for the bills, weddings, babies, new business ventures and dreams held up in escrow for such a time as this!

Lord, How Mighty and awesome! You performed a work beyond the expectations for my sister/friend. For her employment, her daughter, her life, well being and for their future. She spent many hours laboring, holding fast to Your word, especially when it was hardest. Thank you Lord for blessing her so abundantly. Thank you Lord, for allowing me to come into that knowledge, to Praise You for Your auspiciousness, for that magnificent grace. I am delighted to know and trust fully that every request I have ever made, both silently and openly are so very secure and assured!  I am so very happy in the receiving of every good blessing You have for me. I am so grateful for every blessing that I fully enjoy! My spirit dances in effervescent glory, beaming and shining upon the ground of Your creation, every footstep is blessed and precious. I am a walking example of Your Miracle and mercy, I am a living contradiction to anything that had been sent for my demise, Your all knowing Omniscient hand stretched forth defying the devourer on my behalf. Such glorious and mighty works have been executed on my behalf, I vibrate in total harmony with the Great I am, recognizing that YOU alone are the gifter & author of those incredible turn of events, heavenly collaborations that came together entirely for my benefit. Highly Blessed and favored I am, because You are faithful, because You are unfailing, because You are Jehovah Jireh, Adonai, Elohim, the delight of my heart!

I am not sure where I came into possession (see below) of this list, over the years during my travels over the worldwide web. I am ever so thankful to have found it (in my files) to share with you and to visit these passages, to remember WHO I AM, WHO I BELONG TO & THE STUFF I AM MADE OF!

Have a blessed week!

A Vessel for Plenty! 10-20-14

I was looking back, over all the incredible Messages that God has given me to share. It sort of amazed me, one because it's an incredible body of work & also because He has never once let me down or had me sitting there not knowing what to say. If anything, there were many times where I'd have to spring up out of bed to begin capturing what was coming to me or stop wherever I was doing while out and about and text message myself the thoughts impressions, and scriptures that were being being spoon fed into my mind.  I recently received an alert to renew the domain: TheMondayMorningMessage  which served me in multiple ways. God reminded me, Renewal is His specialty!

Then the enemy tried to attack me; he began saying things to me like, "You're just wasting your money you know?"..."Nobody reads this, nobody cares!- Why hasn't anyone donated? Maybe you oughta just give up?!"

...Oh, I know that voice, and the Lord REBUKE YOU evil one!
The Lord assured me, He said, "My Word is all that matters and in MY WORD, I tell my sheep what to do and they listen!"- "My word has many precepts that command those whom I have blessed to give generously and to do so with a Glad and Joyous heart!- All you need do, is continue to share My word, as you do, do as I instruct you and provide the way for them to give."- "As the woman who was down to the last drops of oil in her vessel, I instructed her to gather more vessels and to prepare for what was to come!"- "Likewise, go prepare!"

I realized in that moment, #1 Yes, Father, I shall do as You say! I also realized that never once did I mention the Ministries needs to another (even though its been a constant). Whenever something was needed I simply provided. I did have a link on the site BUT it wasn't prominent or noticeable! So, as I have been instructed, I have created a page for it, which you can see here---->http://www.mondaymorningmessage.blogspot.com/p/sew-seed.html

Every Monday, for close to five years now, I have prepared and distributed the Monday Message; to 5 pages across facebook, 3 groups, a group on GodsFaithBook, to Spreaker for the podcast community & to the individual email group (who wish to have it delivered to their inbox's every week) That's 6 or more hours, every Monday (6x4=24), every month (24 x12=288 hrs a year. 288 x 4 years=1152 hours! I suppose that's a gross mis-estimate, as it doesn't include the hours of research but WOW!!! I do it because it DOES matter, it matters to Him, it matters to me and it matters to countless others! It's FOR HIM, because I love Him. I do it for you, because You are so loved! You are loved by Him as well as by me.

Nothing is going to stop me or prohibit me my friends! It's not only for the difference that it might make in your life but maybe it's for a future someone, someplace! It's a worthy endeavor that I have never regretted! It deserves to prosper and the vessels are now in place!

One thing I do know, is that I just trust God's word, He says that He can cause others to pour into our laps! So maybe, this OPPORTUNITY is facilitating God working on His children in areas where they need to regain obedience, who knows?!

This Ministry is now allowing the receipt of Tithes and offerings:

I WOULD MOST APPRECIATE HEARING FROM YOU ABOUT WHAT HERE HAS SERVED YOU THE MOST?! PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME AND THIS MINISTRY AT
BodyOfChristNY @ gmail.com

Heavenly Father, You provide gloriously for those that love and serve You. Father, I pray forward a blessing of duplication and increase to the highest degree for every person who donates. Lord, Your word says that the woman gave the 'mite' gave the greatest amount because it was all that she had, it was her willingness to be the blessing that caused he to give from the treasure of her heart. Lord, please deposit immediate indications to each of them that they have indeed set forth in motion, blessings of untold returns. In Jesus precious and might name AMEN!

Matthew 10:41

He that receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.

LUKE 6:38

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

2 Corinthians 9:7

Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

Malachi 3:10

10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Proverbs 3:9-10

Honor the Lord with your wealth
    and with the firstfruits of all your produce;
10 then your barns will be filled with plenty,
and your vats will be bursting with wine.

Luke 6:38

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Elijah and the Poor Woman

Elijah and the Poor Woman

In the long ago days there was a poor woman who lived at the seaside in a place called Zarephath. She had a little boy to love, but she had no husband to work either for him or for her.
There had been no rain for so long that the ground was baked hard.
The fields of Zarephath were bare and brown. There had been no rain for so long that the ground was baked hard. Neither corn nor fruits would grow.
Her little boy and she went out beyond the city gate to look for sticks to make a fire to bake one little cake
The widow of Zarephath had no money and no bread. She had a handful of flour in the barrel, and a little olive-oil in the jar, and that was all. Her little boy and she went out beyond the city gate to look for sticks to make a fire to bake one little cake.
He said to the woman, "Please give me a drink of water."
While they were gathering sticks, they saw a stranger coming towards them. He wore a cloak of camel’s hair, fastened with a belt of leather. He said to the woman, "Please give me a drink of water."
And she was going to fetch it, he called to her, "Bring me, I beg, a piece of bread in your hand."
The woman knew that his name was Elijah. Now she said to him, "I have no loaf of bread, only a handful of flour in the barrel and a little olive oil in the jar, just enough to make one little cake for my son and myself. After that there will be nothing left."
Elijah said, "Don’t be afraid, but make me a little cake first. For this is what the Lord , the God of Israel, says, 'The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the Lord gives rain on the land.'"
She mixed her dough, and baked a little cake of bread.
And the kind widow woman lit her fire. She mixed her dough, and baked a little cake of bread. She gave it to Elijah, and lo! in the barrel there was still a handful of flour, and in the jar there was still a little olive oil. She was able to mix a cake for her little boy and herself to eat, and even yet there was more.
While he was there the barrel of flour never became empty, neither did the jar of olive oil fail.
She let Elijah, who was God’s servant, stay at her house, and she gave him food. While he was there the barrel of flour never became empty, neither did the jar of olive oil fail. There was always enough for her, her son, and for Elijah.
