MONDAY MORNING MESSAGE FOR The Eternal Body Of Christ 5-29-12 - Commit to the Lord

Gooood Morninnnnng :)

PROVERBS 6 :13

Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.

In this passage, God urges us to turn over our affairs to His care and guidance; putting our time, our resources and our desires into service for Him and the Kingdom. When we do this, it puts us in the perfect position to receive his provision. It's not just applicable to our work and livelihood, its meant as a means of approach to all we might lift our hands to, all of our actions, thoughts and deeds.

When you are committed to something, it means you have promised to give a concerted effort with a constant respect toward the integrity of the ideal. Regardless of what the activity might be, leisure or labour, every endeavor has it's moments when it feels like we have lost some ground, momentum, reward, etc. It's in those very moments; the moments of testing, that the lesson becomes so very important. We must never forget about conscious decision to follow Christ, it's a living contract, a daily prescription, we must take it and make it with the right frame of mind. There is no better way to ensure longevity, health and happiness. Jesus is the elixir of life, the cure, the remedy and the antidote! He makes a way where no way is possible and through Him we can do all things! How Great Thou Art!

Heavenly Father we come to you today in thankfulness for all you give to us, for the provision of a savior in Christ Jesus, for the conversion of sinners and for the pouring out of the Holy Spirit upon your church. We ask you today to reveal to us greater paths of righteousness. Deliver us from our own thoughts, ways and deeds, replace them with those that honour and serve you respectfully. Help us to become bold in showing and sharing our faith; for just as the wicked have no shame in their interactions and wretchedness; allow us Lord the fever and fire that cleanses and corrects. Ignite a passion for you Lord that becomes a driving force and an unstoppable surge drawing us closer while securing us from evil. We seek you in all our ways, minute by minute, hour by hour. Through the power of the Holy spirit we desire for your will to be done in and through us from now until eternity, AMEN!

MONDAY MORNING MESSAGE FOR The Eternal Body Of Christ 5-21-12 (Spiritual fruit)

Goooooood Morninnnnnnnng,

Two things stood out to my spirit this week, both occurring at different intervals and yet, they have a relationship in unison with what we call Spiritual Fruit.

I had been praying in the Spirit, rather boldly, over a precious child who is battling cancer. As I approached the throne of Grace, my Spirit recalled the scripture where Jesus cursed the fig tree, as He and His disciples passed by the way. The tree was barren, yielding no fruit and was as good as kindling, an obstacle more than a asset. After their time in the area came to a close, they passed by again on their way exiting; as they did so, one of the disciples pointed out the condition of the fig tree (as Christ had just the other day, cursed it). We need to recognize that as human beings we are much like a tree and God is seeking to justify what fruit we bear. Jesus is referred to as the vine and we know that as followers/believers, we are grafted in. The fruit of our life should be in season and to the edification of our life as well as others.

Mark 11: Jesus Curses a Fig Tree and Clears the Temple Courts

12 The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. 13 Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs.14 Then he said to the tree, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard him say it.

19 And when even was come, he went out of the city.
20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
21 And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is
withered away.

I called upon the spirit and brought this scripture before the throne seeking intercession for this child, pointing out that the “cancer” affecting this child is a parasite affecting the tree, cancer bears no fruit and prohibits the bearing of fruit, so we ask the Lord to curse the root of Cancer, to yank it from its foothold.

Shortly thereafter, I was reading something which prompted me to refer to the scripture where we are reminded that we will be” judged for every idle word”. Words have power, therefore, an idle word, is likened to a rotten fruit. That which was meant for blessing or edification and has been blemished, spoiled or tainted. “Waste not want not”, my Mother used to say. We are commanded to speak truth, to be kind and to share the Gospel. If we are not speaking up when the occasion calls, that is an idle word; an idle word of neglect. If we are full of condemnation for ourselves and others, we will be held accountable for those also. We also know that God is the reader of hearts. No words escape our mouths that were not first born in the incubator of the heart/mind/soul. From the platform of it’s inception, we are also held accountable, for words thought as well as spoken.

(Acts 15:8). “For the LORD searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts”

(1 Chronicles 28:9). “For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart”

(Hebrews 4:12). (1 John 3:20) For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.

Luke 6:45

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Matthew 12;34

O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

In the parable of the fig tree, Christ quickly points out a very empowering, engaging and liberating fact. He says, next;

22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23 “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” [26]

Here, in this segment of scripture we have the platform of the heart again, what is believed can not be feigned. We alone can not change our beliefs and collateral in faith, only through submission to Christ along with careful observation of God’s Sovereign Grace and infallible promises. Forgive to be forgiven. believe to receive.

Why did the Lord leave us these words, in this book we call the Bible? To help us, to govern us, to comfort us and mostly to empower us! There is one more promise the spirit has called out to me to remind you of, grab hold of this and claim this yours from the Lord.

Jeremiah 33:3 Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you know not.

Abba Father, maker of all good gifts, reader of our hearts. Search us, point out to us that which needs to be pruned. Help us to keep the fruit of our vine in perfect condition for the edification of our entire being. Reveal to us Your great mysteries, show us your Glory and lead us to the knowledge of how to obtain your favor and mercy for ourselves as well as those for whom we pray, In Jesus Mighty name AMEN

THE HERITAGE OF LOVE...

We are all familiar with the common form of heritage, called ancestry. This is what is passed down to us from our Parents, their parents and the ancestors who preceded them. There is a Heritage of Love, which was passed down from the Lord, through His Son, Jesus Christ. This heritage transcends our Human blood birthright. We are grafted into this bloodline through His birth, death & resurrection. As fellow believers & disciples in Christ, we have this Holy DNA sanctifying our life.

An earthly Father or Mother has a connection to their child through their physical blood. Paternity tests are used to show a parent as legitimately responsible for their offspring. How much more so is the Lord, legitimately responsible for us? We celebrate women, on Mother’s day; they are recognized for their unconditional love & the bond which formed that child in their womb is second to none on this earth. We celebrate men on Father’s day; they are recognized as the first sense of stability and protection in a young life, their influence upon the family and the welfare of it, is a responsibility as well as priveledge.

Parenthood shows the human how to make tough choices, to sacrifice and how to dispense difficult transitions for their child, out of love. It is kind, not cruel, to enforce rules and sometimes correction. As humans we are capable of making mistakes, but, they are most often not out of malice, when they concern our children, they are often based on lack of information, resources or ability.

With God, our ultimate parent, there are many AMAZING advantages. He is not unable, unadvised or incapable in any capacity. It is no accident what family we are born into. It is no coincidence what traits we share, what challenges we face, what our height and stature are! Our abilities, growth and even the ancestral heritage we are born into. How tremendous a Blessing (from Birth) for any child to be born into a family in the United States of America, let alone a God fearing, obedient one. Where we are free to pursue Christ, free to practice of our faith and free to evangelize as God says we ought.

God is our Father, seeking to gaze upon us, seeking to assist us. To laugh and play with us. To educate us, to raise us up, to commune with Him. I said to a friend recently, “ya know God is so much like a parent, our relationship with Him is so important. Going to church shouldn’t be viewed like a chore or a task. We ARE the church, we need to be the church by going and relating to our fellow believers our siblings. We aren’t passive ornaments in His life, we are His children, He doesn’t need us there, WE NEED HIM.”

Embrace and celebrate God in your Life. Grab hold of the Heritage of Love that you have been gifted with. Seek Him, bring yourself into fuller alignment. Forget about what you see others doing on the outside. Start from that place within, where only You and He observe. From there, that is where He wishes to meet with you. Bring that place forward in your life for others to witness. That is the Heritage of Love, it speaks volumes; for His ways are far above our ways. Make new traditions in your life centered around the best heritage you have been blessed with. The blessed assurances of a life devoted to the Lord Jesus Christ.

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me” (Galatians 2:20).

MONDAY MORNING MESSAGE FOR The Eternal Body Of Christ 5-7-12

Every once in a while the Monday Message gets delayed and instead of going out in the Morning it goes out Mid day, it's still Monday and its Morning somewhere in the world...so let's roll with it :)

Everyone, everywhere, eventually gets the urge to do spring cleaning, it’s a natural instinct for most. Just like when you purchase a new appliance, the normal thing to do would be to clean under, behind and around the old one before replacing it with a new one.

Ever given yourself a Spirit Cleaning? Why not? It couldn’t hurt, in fact it is a necessity which is far too often overlooked! Everything in this world changes, decays, breaks down. The Only thing that remains the same, is Jesus Christ and thank God for that, it is by His Holy/Heavenly Blood that we are sanctified, washed and soccourred.

Hebrews 13:8

8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

The residual debris that falls in our spirit is just as bad, if not worse, than a thick layer of dust in an unkempt room. This debris results from poor choices, traumatic events of the past or present, residual resentments, moments of personal weakness and worst of all, an item or belief in our lives that we have clung to, to our detriment. That could be a faulty ideology, a habit, a method of practice or tradition; whatever it is, it might be responsible for impeding your personal growth in Christ.

We sometimes don’t truly discover what the problem is, until we get under, behind and around ourselves. We need to ask the Lord to reveal to us, exactly what the conflict might be. As we proceed to do our spiritual house cleaning, we want to ensure that we get every corner and develop methods for an easy and consistent maintenance going forward. Personal property and items can be just as detrimental. Spirits can attach themselves to objects as well as people, so go about your cleaning with a judicious hand, ask the Lord to reveal what things should stay and what should go.

When you are done you will know it, the outcome is a unique sensation, like that of a clean house, a certain level of comfort in the spiritual order of things and the sweet smell of spiritual freedom.

Father, help us to see those areas in our life that need attention, point out to us what needs to be adjusted, cleansed or eliminated. Lord, we stand before you as vessels seeking your continued presence in abundance. Help us to prepare and keep your residence fit for Your Royal Inhabitance. We repent for the sins of our Forefathers, for whatever strongholds they invited upon the generations of their offspring; we forgive them and we demand through the law and authority given to us by Christ, that they must cease and desist. We place a firey wall of protection, a covenant between us and Thee, in and around our lives, family, children, pets, and posessions. The enemy and his minions, spirits of unclean; No Longer have access or permission to invade or occupy our space. In Jesus Mighty and Powerful name we declare, decree and issue forth the will of the Father, in every area of our life in Christ, AMEN
