Get that like a real book experience with PageFlip5

I am a huge proponent of supporting the DREAM, not only my own dreams but especially those of the ones God has placed in my life. I believe that we are all, always drawn to those circumstances and situations where we can serve, learn and grow. It is important to meet those opportunities with our very best.

A sister in Christ, whom I have had the pleasure of working with on another project, contacted me seeking assistance. I was very honored to have been asked and very interested in doing what I can to help advance her vision for a very small but important music book concept that she explained, for leading people to the Lord through some incredible artists and their gifts.

She had a demonstration version online that I was able to access, as she was planning on printing off a professional hardcover version through a specific site designed for vanity publishing. I was able to take print screens of her pages and save them as image files, so that I could work with them.

My endeavor was to assemble the few pages into a PDF that she could successfully share with countless others in a cost-effective way. Sure, the printed version she was preparing to make would be great but I knew she wanted to share it beyond just the few whom would get such a costly but tangible, professionally bound book.

I set out, created the ebook and then we realized, how nice it would be if the finished digital version could display like a book and even flip like a real book would. An authentic book like experience but still a digital ebook. PDF does not do this. That was the finishing touch I wanted so so much to be able to offer.

I immediately went online and started searching. I came across PageFlip5 and it was as if the heavens parted. This handy tool would do nicely. Perfectly and precisely, exactly what I was looking for.

Not only is it easy and function the way we wanted but it is also web friendly. We had talked about the potential of having this book readily available on the web, with PageFlip5 you can serve and share your book on your own website as well as through theirs.

What a great solution for anyone looking to have their content stand out. Whether it be images or literature or what have you, you should consider using this service and tool. http://ift.tt/1jVPpl9

Obedience and preservation 9/25/17

Preservation is a byproduct of obedience. You can learn this fast as through one lesson or through repetition until you get it. Betterment is His promise to us, as He sorts & surveys our comprehension of this.

When we are so fully in faith of belief that we surrender peacefully to God’s provisions and plans over us. Far better is that which He arranges than that which we might pick, thinking we know better.

Not to say that He doesn’t inspire and invite us to dream big, or specific, for surely, He does. It is just a small adjustment but a pivotal one, where we recognize what we desire is also pleasing to God. It’s when we have those noble and notable notions, those are the ones worth actualizing.

At a certain time in recent history, it was popular to find with, when you would buy a pricey garment or gadget, it would come with aproof of  quality inspection . There would typically be an insert, a slip, a note, or sticker which read inspected by a signatue a number or both.

This offered pereceived value, if not peace of mind. After all, that little confirmation carried a weight of expectation. Surely, if it passed inspection it is of good quality for me?! A likely supposition. We put an ounce of confidence in it, before even establishing whether it is a sound fact.

Does not faith require of us, just such trust?! When we send everything through God’s sort and sift, surveyor belt, we have nothing but the best of results. Filtered, fantastic and infinite!Look to God in all matters. With Him as a business advisor, encourager, life coach, magistrate, provision source, public relations liaison and the list goes on. The spirit is always communicating. Let God speak over your life. When you have your confession triangulated off of His word, that is an angle of untold benefits.

God also offers His little signs and signals, that His mighty hand was responsible. I personally love those ahahhh moments. In fact, that is the case with every outcome that occurs to His children. Sometimes, we are able to see the progression or the full circle, other times it is merely putting it up for the future. Our Father offers more than preservation, He also delights in helping us thrive.

Heavenly Father, I pray and plead the blood of the lamb protection over me and mine, over everyone and theirs, especially our precious sisters and brothers in Christ, as well as all connected to us and through us. Lord, thank You for Your faithfulness. These constants and truths are a tremendous source of confidence with formidable reinforcements. ‘With thee for me’, ‘all things are possible’. Remind us Oh Lord to speak over our circumstances. Lord, as we wish them to be handled through You, that means solid and sound on both fronts, the seen and the unseen.

Temporary Hiatus 3/27/17

Please keep me in your prayers, I will be taking a temporary hiatus in order to heal. Please stay tuned, I hope to back in full swing in a week or two. In the meanwhile I am happy to share a testimony of Gods goodness as He sustained me through a very serious health crisis.

How much of a testimony is it when the Medical professionals say, by all rights, you should have been dead with such a situation going on in your body and they scratch their heads in disbelief!?

So….a few years back I was at a local store and met this wonderful lady, we had instant rapport. We spoke a few times and emailed a few times and then communications ended (life throws us curve balls; shortly after meeting her I broke my leg and was out of commission for 8 to 10 months.)….

Fast forward to Saturday. I am hospitalized and admitted. They send me up to a room and tell me I will be having a roommate shortly. So as they are prepairing the space for her, I meet this wonderful lady. She is a Mighty woman of faith and we get along instantly. She asks about my church and our minds are blown as she tells me, I have been there…I love that church. She knows many of the same folks.
One day becomes two, then two days becomes 3 and then 4 days. All the while, we are encouraging each other, looking out for each other, sharing experiences, praying together and ministering to each other. (Many many times when I was in bad shape she was feeling ok and vice versa., when she was having a hard time, the spirit gave me the words and we were able to help each other as many things were trying to come up against us.)

We just knew that we wanted to stay in touch so before either one of us might be released we shared emails and then I gave her my number so she could call my phone (so this way we would both have each others number). Low and behold, as she is calling me, I see a name pop up along with the number. …OMGOSH how is she already a saved contact in my phone?!…the two of us in tandem, encounter Instant recollection of that brief meeting a few years back. Talk about mind blowing, God appointed stuff! It was pure elation over How amazing our God is. How He places things in our path to let us know that nothing escapes Him and that He is always at work, working everything together for our benefit.

We both found this very encouraging. We each had moments where things didn’t seem to be going right at all, in fact, we both had situations where the prognosis that seemed to be trying to unfold before us and over us was not to either of our liking. We both stood on our faith and pressed in, for our favorable outcomes. These things that occurred can be dealt with now and are being treated. Thank You God for Your Divine Mercy and Grace that sustained us and brought us through our dark hours.

One thing the spirit gave me, is that Jesus never let himself down off that cross in order to PROVE to us that He also would never let us down as Christ, our Eternal Savior. The work He did that day covers us and permits us to thrust our burdens over in complete faith with a peace that surpasses all understanding.

Thank You God that you would be mindful of us to such extent. Thank you for placing me with this wonderful sister and friend. Thank You for sparing us from the ‘what ifs’ and ‘could have beens’!

And Thank You God, that You are glorified and empowered through our weaknesses. Please help us going forward as You so magnanimously do!

I had the God gifted pleasure of meeting this woman, and then was reunited with her at the hospital where we shared a room. We both discovered that we each write poetry, minister the word of the Lord, and have both created prophetic videos. She shared hers with me and IT IS SO POWERFUL….
WATCH THIS TIL THE END and BE BLESSED AS I WAS! This video blew me away and was so impactful

God is faithful 3/13/17

GOD IS FAITHFUL! (revisited from 2/2012)

Isa 55:11
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. (KJV)

What does that mean? How can we view this & fully absorb the impact?  Trust, Loyalty and Confidence have become commodities instead of virtues. Everyone has been touched by it, to some degree along the line; betrayal of a friend, disloyalty of a spouse! Confidences broken, abandonment, abuse, selfishness, fear, doubt, misguided intentions. People who lie to themselves will most assuredly have a hard time maintaining integrity in interpersonal relationships with others. Most of these people operate under a mode of conduct induced by some hurt or betrayal that they themselves had befallen.

Yet, in other things, we give trust away so easily, especially when we are invested in the outcome. We want a certain thing so badly that the slightest hint that we might obtain it, we are ready to sign at the dotted line. When you order food at a restaurant, no one sits there & questions; “Are they really going to bring it”, “Am I good enough to be served what I asked for?”  Misplaced trust? YES, absolutely! We should only have as much comfortable confidence in God’s promises! He is so far above our limited viewpoint, knowing every variable, every potential outcome, every lesson assigned and the tolerances of each of us. Like that expression;  “When you are down to nothing, God is up to something!” Every bad event a christian faces, God promises to FAITHFULLY rework it into a blessing. Whatever happens is due to His Grace, whatever doesn’t happen is due to His Mercy, whatever eventually happens is due to His dominion!

Romans 8:28

28And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

The world wants it to show before they will go. God wants us to Trust before he delivers …it’s a must! Faith is like a down payment, recorded and ordered, a contract between the Great I AM and little ol’ You! If we can just learn to look at it with our spiritual eyes, looking into His word, His character, His abilities; we would then see that NOTHING is impossible, goes un-noticed or slips through the cracks! Its as simple as that! It is SOUND BIBLICAL TRUTH & just because YOUR evidence hasn’t arrived yet, that doesn’t define, limit or prohibit God. It will come to pass! Every promise He makes, will come to pass! If He told you He will bless your seed and save your whole household, its a done deal! If He told you every tear you shed is collected, stored and recorded, you can bank on it!

Acts 16:13
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Psalm 56:8
8 You keep track of all my sorrows.
You have collected all my tears in your bottle.
You have recorded each one in your book.

Our requests should always be in alignment with what God says is right and true. Remember the principle of reaping what you sew! Get familiar with the many promises that God has for us! The Bible is choc full of them!

Lord, please help us, to have BOLD, CONFIDENT FAITH, teach us how to cultivate it, remind us to place that token of trust in the well of eternal life! Lift us up in our moments of doubt and direct us toward recollection of Your Greatness! For all of Heaven and Earth shall pass away except for Your words! We can thrust our prayers, concerns, worries and needs upon YOU. Only You are able, Only YOU can & will come through for us! Thank You Lord, for the many promises and blessing you have bestowed upon us, For the work You performed on our behalf, securing the rights to every one of  Father God’s Plans and Hopes for us!

“Jesus never let Himself down OFF THAT CROSS to PROVE to us

that He would never let US DOWN!”~ smz ™ © ®

Matthew 24:35
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.

You matter because of who made you 2/27/17

epogc
There are two types of reality, that of the world, your flesh and that of eternity, your spiritual self. Most people seem to think that the flesh, that the human body is all there is?! They focus more on the repercussions of this physical existence not realizing God created every human being to exist for all eternity. That means when you leave this world only the flesh passes away, you have an eternal destination for that soul! Either redeemed or removed from the presence of God, each a result of personal choice & belief!
Did you know that all of the water that is on this planet has always been on this planet?! Because of our atmosphere, there is no where for it to go. It rains down, absorbs into the ground, evaporates back up into the atmosphere, forms rain clouds in a complex, yet simple cycle. Did you know there is a river of living water in heaven, (REV 22:1)?! I believe it is the water that Jesus collects from our tears (Psalm 56:8) along with the water that flowed from His side (John 19:34). Our human body is mostly water, which I also find interesting too.
To help you grasp the “shift in thinking”, what’s greater, the drill or the electricity which flows through it? We are vessels, our time & position in this place is like that of a tool, our bodies were given to us so that our spirit could have physical experiences in this realm. You are a spirit inhabiting a body, for a season. Who we are and what we are, is really two separate things! Who we are, is a result of sin being passed down through the free will disobedience of our first human ancestors. What we are, is an eternal entity having a temporary carnal experience. We are solely the property of God yet He gifts us free will. Our very breathe is issued from the mandate of His authority and was fully supplied by His initial breath of life. (See Genesis 2:7)
If we plant a seed, do we not fully expect for it to grow?! We see the picture of what the seed is to become and fully ecpect that is what it wil be. We need to plant some eternal seeds, that yield in God’s season! Eternal fruit is the result of every thing sewn in obedience to Him. Now more than ever people need to plant seeds of kindness, forgiveness, service, mercy & faith. You may feel like a lonely drop of water, BUT you are part of Gods Eternal Ocean, YOU COUNT, that’s why God chose to create you!
If you have good ideas, go water them. Almighty Lord, we ask that You give increase to every one of our suitable notions and lead us into the greatness You have designed for us in Service and Praise to our Almighty King, Lord & Savior, Your Son Jesus Christ AMEN!
Rev 22:1
And he shewed me a pure river of living water, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
Psalm 56:8
You keep track of all my sorrows.[a]    You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.
John 19:34
But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.
Genesis 2:7
7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
John 7:38
He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water.

GODfidence, the confidence that God provides (revisited from 3-12-12)

confidence-in-god-quotes-1

Gooood Morninnnnnnng, IT’S TIME TO BUILD YOUR GOD ESTEEM!……..

You might be asking yourself, what is God Esteem? …and How does one obtain it? Let’s begin by defining it.

GOD – ESTEEM:…Looking to God for every form of validation; acceptance, encouragement, love, self-worth, significance, value. Redefining self-worth based on Biblical principals, rooted in practical applications, such as; small actions, small choices, small incremental advances but done consistently! Over time as you train your mind & your emotions to NOT REACT, but rather to recreate new realities that come into alignment with His word, thus, everything begins to change! Our attitude & outlook effects our choices & decisions. Our decisions & actions affect our outcome! When all of these variables are filtered through His will for your life, you will be under His Divine overshadowing!

SELF DEFEATING: …Let’s redefine the term, “Self-defeating” and discover the common misnomer associated with accepting total responsibility for these thoughts, behaviors & actions. Yes, we are partly responsible for them, in accepting them, in acting out upon them, in resigning to them BUT we need to recognize who the Author of wrong thinking truly is. Satan has the ability to speak to us in our own voice internally, mimicking us; in an attempt to gain access to your subconscious. He is the voice that speaks bad, negative, defeating words to your inner self. When you listen to this voice, especially when you are down or have failed at something, you secretly agree with the words, the put-downs and the insults. He tends to mock, he makes you think and fear that people don’t like you, that you are not good enough, strong enough, capable enough! This voice within is certainly not God, and it is certainly not You, until of course you begin adopting this way of thinking. This way of thinking is adopted whenever you give into those “suggestions” placed by the enemy. Those who are abused become abusive, those who are hurting end up inflicting pain…whether the condemning words come from without or within, we must reject the works of darkness.

James 2:13

because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment! James 5:19-20 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; 20Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

There is a way to recognize the difference between inner conflict that arises from our conscience verses inner battery caused by Satan’s attempts to keep us down, trying to keep you in a pattern of bad feelings, choices and results! Once you are aware that this is a serious reality, you will begin to pay closer attention the dialogue that transpires between your ears! When something begins to make you feel bad, low and ugly…(ask God to reveal the truth to you)! God does not belittle us, God does not speak words of condemnation to you inwardly! Yes, the word of God, the Bible clearly explains risks and results of wrongful lifestyles and beliefs, but God does not talk down to us, He does not speak demoralizing words. He is the God of Mercy and the God of Grace! If God tells us in the Bible how to conduct ourselves toward others, it is safe to also conclude that His spirit would also never inflict such demoralizing attacks on us. (Eph 4:29)

Ephesians 4:29
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

Whenever you are being spoken to by the dark one, you will always (most certainly) hear a voice that explains to you some sort of twisted justification. The entire focus will be on how bad you feel, how unfair it is and how easy it is to just accept the defeat! The voice of this abusive spirit can and will try to convince you that you are deserving of the outcome and that it is all your fault. No matter what the conflict is, it always seems to hinge upon struggles that you have had for years, this is because he knows where you are weakest and he kicks you when you are down!

Whenever the Holy Spirit (pricks our conscience) the overwhelming truth and KEY FACTOR you need to remember is that you will always without question be offered an encouragement to amend your wrongful actions. You will always be met with the embrace of grace & some measure of empathy for someone with whom you have dealt wrongly. You will get the sensation that your reparation is a good thing and that even though you can not undo whatever was done, you can correct it from happening again. The Spirit encourages us, it offers us hope and it allows you to feel good about your growth!

Listen only to God’s words about your character, look only to God for approval, seek only God’ for direction, acceptance and find encouragement in doing the virtuous things, even if you are the only one that seems to value them! Recognize that in doing that, Our Father in Heaven rejoices over us! We must allow God to define us and refine us!

THE VOICE OF TRUTH (Casting Crowns) LISTEN NOW:
Dara Maclean – Free

Heavenly Father, help us to know what you value, help us to see ourselves in an appropriate way that honors and glorifies our walk, discipleship, advancements and humanness. Teach us to be merciful with ourselves and to guard our spirits. Help us to discern these inner conflicts and to reject the influences of Satan and his attacks upon our tender souls. Build us into strong, Godfident Christians, make us warriors who take back what the enemy has stolen. Train us into stealthy, rightminded pillars that are not moved in the face of attack! Be our buckler and steadfast in You, we shall be! In the Mighty name of Jesus we pray AMEN

MORE SCRIPTURE: Matthew 11:28-30 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”Luke 12:7 Why, even the hairs
of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.Romans 8:15 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”Acts 10:34-35 So Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.John 10:1-42 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the gatekeeper opens. The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. A stranger they will not follow, but they will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.”

Life more abundant 1-30-17

Picture 281Widow at Zerphath

Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all things shall be added unto you….Matthew 6:33
How many of us are in the position of great need? Provision from the Lord is life and Life more abundantly! How do we recognize when we need the supernatural attention of God in the areas of our life where we are lacking? When you have run around in circles, exhausted every avenue? What happens when we get to the point of overwhelm, desperation? Is it finally then when we cry out, call out to God? Yes, usually this is the case.  God wants to assure us that He is capable, especially when we are not. He wants to be the the first responder in our emergency and He wants us to be aware that He is where all blessings flow from.! Thank You Lord for my need and thank You for meeting it, exceeding it!
“I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10
How do we usher in the provision of God? We usher it in through faith, obedience, praise, prayer and surrender.
There is one lesson in the bible that comes to mind;
1 Kings 17:7-16 the accounting of the Widow of Zeraphath during the time of drought in the region of Sidon at that time…
http://ift.tt/2jNWCXU
  • The widow of Zeraphath represents those of us who are in a position of need.
  • The Oil represents the anointing
  • The bread is sustenance. The Lord is the bread of life.
She was promised that the jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil would not run dry until the day the Lord gives rain upon the land; this speaks to us about the drought times in life.  I also suppose that at this point, faced with her meager leftovers, that a portion of it gone would not be much different than the end result. It is this very act that transitions from personal hardship to above and beyond her own circle. She trusted and put faith in that word, she went and did as the prophet said; trusting in the word sent to her by God. We need to step up in faith, giving to the Lord that trust; it is the Tithe of Belief (give Him credit as the one who can and the one who will) Believe to receive!
Paul writes that “if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise.” (Galatians 3:29 )
My God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)
Psalm 77:14 “You are the God who performs miracles; You display your power among the peoples.”
We need to come into Unity with His word, through strong faith, deep need, total praise and thankfulness. A release within the release, a friend recently mentioned to me. This speaks to me on so many levels. We have to let our abilities and striving take the backseat when it comes time to let God drive us over that finish line. Release your trust, release your praise and worship toward the Lord, recognize this as the only effective action you can take… motions will resume but this time fueled with the knowledge that God can put the High in your octane, accelerating the onset of every need being met; personal, financial and situational.

Heavenly Father, I thank you for the times of great need that you have placed me in. I can see how great and merciful you are as in times past when my need exceeded my ability and then you rushed in to comfort and sustain me. I pray that I shall always remain just as sure of You no matter what life may present to me. I have been high and I have been low but I fully know that you are here with me, wherever I may go! I promise to you this day, with the greatest of ease because I know You are unfailing…that I shall always trust in You. Trust, faith and assurity; when they are turned over to you, are the begins of great things. Thank you Lord for the trials of life, through which You have shown me How truly amazing You are. Thank You for using those situations to bring me great blessings for they also strengthened me that I might help others. I am grateful for the position I have with You; your beloved child, forever indebted, blissfully happy and secured for all eternity! In the Mighty name of Yehushua, Our Lord and Savior AMEN

Be humble, pray and seek His face… 1/23/17

0011

2 Chronicles 7:14

14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways;

then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

As believers who are called into obedience with humility, we are to refrain from following the crowd, from becoming part of a movement or a resistance, unless the established authority is imposing something  that is contrary to Gods laws and mandates. On a whole we are not entangled nor threatened by the masses or their agenda.

Rom 13:1-14 Paul instructs you in your obligations as an earthly and heavenly citizen.1

1. Submit To Government Rom13:1-72

God is glorified and His will is fulfilled when you submit to His governing authorities. In 13:1a Paul writes: “Every person is to be in subjection to the governing3 authorities.”4 The command begins with the words, “Every person” (pasa psuche lit. “every soul”).5 This includes believers and unbelievers, rich and poor, great and small, without exception.6 But Paul’s primary concern is that believers “submit” to governing authorities. The verb “submit” (hupotasso)7 means “to place oneself under.”8 After reading this blanket command, some look for exceptions. However, here Paul provides the general rule, not the exceptions. Of course, there are at least three areas in which a Christian should resist authority: (1) If he or she is asked to violate a command of God.9 (2) If he or she is asked to commit an immoral or unethical act. (3) If he or she is asked to go against his/her conscience.10 But when a believer resists authority he/she must be willing to accept the consequences (see 13:2). Submission is never easy and frequently there are grave ethical dilemmas.11

We are also called to pray…

1 Timothy 2:1-2, KJV

“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty”

What God wants from us to be that contrast, showing the world by example.  How do we do that? For starters we allow God to shape and mold us, through His word.

Ephesians 4:24

24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created

in righteousness and true holiness.

It’s truly sad when you see these people in self destruct mode under the guise of a cause. What is worse is the hypocricy, for the things that they claim are an insult or an imposition upon them is nothing in comparison to their actions, words  and deeds. Like children throwing an ill tempered tantrum they revolt. They are fighting and arguing for their sins. They refuse to be held accountable for their actions, they want a carte blanche ticket to behave badly.

Truthfully, there is a difference between priveledge and liberty. One thing is for sure, both were provided under the umbrella of sacrifice from those who gave their lives to provided it. Respect, reverence, and justice should be paid to the purpose of  human rights not for the exploitation.

priv·i·ege

PUSH =Pray Until Something Happens

I just love that little acronym, I didn’t invent it but I am reminded of it, especially when I read that passage about the widow and the unscrupulous judge.

Luke 18: 1-8

18 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:

And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.

And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;

Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.

And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.

And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

In the case of the widow and the judge, she wasn’t praying but she was petitioning. She knew that this judge had the power to grant her request and therefore she had confidence that if she could just get him to agree to hear her plight, that the solution would be granted.

Therefore, I propose a question, how much more confidence should we have in God?  He is omniscient and takes into account everything that we can not know or see and does so with an eye toward our advantage. So we see this passage as an incentive. We have the best and most judicious judge available, to hear our requests and to answer our petitions. The widow had enough sense to know that she needed to push through. She wasn’t about to give up, she was about getting the judge to acknowledge her.

Read this excerpt from Matthew Henrys Commentary on this passage Luke 18:1-8:

He applies this for the encouragement of God’s praying people to pray with faith and fervency, and to persevere therein.1. He assures them that God will at length be gracious to them (v. 6): Hear what the unjust judge saith, how he owns himself quite overcome by a constant importunity, and shall not God avenge his own elect? Observe,(1.) What it is that they desire and expect: that God would avenge his own elect. Note, [1.] There are a people in the world that are God’s people, his elect, his own elect, a choice people, a chosen people. And this he has an eye to in all he does for them; it is because they are his chosen, and in pursuance of the choice he has made of them. [2.] God’s own elect meet with a great deal of trouble and opposition in this world; there are many adversaries that fight against them; Satan is their great adversary. [3.] That which is wanted and waited for is God’s preserving and protecting them, and the work of his hands in them; his securing the interest of the church in the world and his grace in the heart.(2.) What it is that is required of God’s people in order to the obtaining of this: they must cry day and night to him; not that he needs their remonstrances, or can be moved by their pleadings, but this he has made their duty, and to this he has promised mercy. We ought to be particular in praying against our spiritual enemies, as St. Paul was: For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me; like this importunate widow. Lord, mortify this corruption. Lord, arm me against this temptation. We ought to concern ourselves for the persecuted and oppressed churches, and to pray that God would do them justice, and set them in safety. And herein we must be very urgent; we must cry with earnestness: we must cry day and night, as those that believe prayer will be heard at last; we must wrestle with God, as those that know how to value the blessing, and will have no nay. God’s praying people are told to give him no rest, Isa. 62:6, Isa. 62:7

Isaiah 62:6-7

I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence,

And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

Deuteronomy 10:18

He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.

So, we need to pray until something happens. PUSH. Pray with confidence knowing that our God is a good and just God, an advocate who promises to attend to us. We have no better representation than our Lord, no greater friend and sovereign God who can not fail us. He has an advantage above judicious system of this world in that He sees every fact, including the hidden.

Let’s pray!  Lord, we thank You for the gift of discernment and wisdom that You lead us to, contained in Your word. Help us to maintain our confidence and faith in You. Remind us to pray for our adversaries as we seek justice for the wrongs committed against us. Avenge us, as we know You will. We thank You Lord for Your faithfulness, In Jesus Mighty name AMEN!
