Hanging on His every word 8/29/16

It's such a common part of life, to have upcoming events that we look forward to. A vacation, promotion, special ceremony or some other special celebration. We sort of live our lives from event to event. These milestones give us something to look forward to, to strive for. In most cases, during our life, they never end; there is always something off in the distance that we are waiting to see, experience or attend.
Psalm 130:5
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
and in his word I hope. . . .
When I read this passage, it goes beyond this physical realm. It's the quintessential moments of my life...On a daily basis this applies as I petition Him for myself and others. On a grander scale, I trust that the Lord knows every detail of what will unfold and when. He sees everything down the road and at the end of the road. What better hope could I have but that of the Almighty, Omnsicient God that goes before me in all things. One fine day, He will come to collect me and eternity will be mine with the Lord.
In a few days is the anniversary of my Mothers death. It's not exactly something I look forward to on the calendar but none the less, it's an observance. I was so fortunate and blessed to have a Mother so deeply devoted to God, who prayed for me, from the moment she knew of me until the moment she left this earth! She waited for the Lord, and in His word was her hope. I know that her hope was for her five children to Love and Serve the Lord, to walk in righteousness and to prosper in every area of life. I am so glad for strong faith and a close relationship with the Lord. I continually pray for my siblings, knowing and trusting in God's timing for them.
This is God's hope for us, too. He left so many wonderful words of encouragement for us. He has given us so much to cling to. If we would only cleave to His word for the immutable promises and wonderful legacy that awaits us. I pray that every ear can discern and that every eye is opened to the Goodness of the Lord.
I look forward to everything that God wants for me. I agree totally with His word! I trust that He prepares me for everything that is assigned to me in this life. He is my Hope and all other things are just stepping stones on that path. Lord, allow me to maintain total 'AWE" of You, every day of my life. AMEN!

 Isaiah 40:31

But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!

Lamentations 3:25

The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.

James 5:7-8

Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains. You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.

2 Peter 3:9

The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

Romans 5:3-4

More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope,

Our soul waits for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. For our heart is glad in him, because we trust in his holy name. Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in you.

James 5:11

Behold, we consider those blessed who remained steadfast. You have heard of the steadfastness of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful.

Psalm 62:5

For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him.

Psalm 40:1-17

To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the Lord. Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust, who does not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after a lie! You have multiplied, O Lord my God, your wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us; none can compare with you! I will proclaim and tell of them, yet they are more than can be told. ...

Isaiah 64:4

From of old no one has heard or perceived by the ear, no eye has seen a God besides you, who acts for those who wait for him.

Psalm 27:1-14

Of David. The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When evildoers assail me to eat up my flesh, my adversaries and foes, it is they who stumble and fall. Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be confident. One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple. For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock. ...

Psalm 25:4-5

Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.

1 Peter 1:22-25

Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart, since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through theliving and abiding word of God; for “All flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls, but the word of the Lord remains forever.” And this word is the good news that was preached to you.

Acts 1:4

And while staying with them he ordered them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, he said, “you heard from me;

‘The way’ isn’t a path, a lifestyle or a religion. 8/22/16

This is such an important topic today. I have heard many people say that they they believe there are many roads to Heaven and many paths to Salvation. It always comes on the heals of the realization that something in their life, in their walk, is a topic of contention. They either refuse to give up something or do not feel the need to surrender to any authority. There has never been a bigger lie that a person can fall for. Satan has pulled the biggest smoke screen over the most important area of belief that a human can hold. As long as a person is ignorant there is less chance that they will surrender to Gods authority and be spared.
Make no mistake about this one fact, "the way" was never a religion, an idealogy or a lifestyle. 'The way' as it is referred to, in the Bible, is the Person, Jesus Christ. There is only one and could only be one, for the nature of what 'the way' means. It is the ransoming of souls, paid for through the spotless, sinless living. More importantly, through the blood shed propitiation, which He alone endured on the cross. Beyod the grave, He also secured every believers placement in heaven by conquering hell, sentencing and tethering Satan. It takes more than just believing in Jesus, believe you me, satan believes in Jesus too, he just doesn't follow Him. Get the point.
As a human, you are owned. Whether you know it or not. By default, every soul (through the blood line curse of original sin) is indebted to pay a price that they can not, that price is death. Those who are saved, have been bailed out of that debt by Jesus. His life was offered up as payment for all who would believe on Him and accept Him as their Lord, unto Salvation. He being God, as man, grafted divine blood with our human bood and made us heirs through His resurrection.
If a person is in a burning building, knowing that there is a clear and unobstructed exit, a way of escape, what sense does it make to opt for the rooftop or the window? Both of those options have innumerable obstacles and irreversible consequences. Yes, you would escape the fire BUT you wouldn't escape the death. That thinking is perillous and void of critical sense. Many people overlook the open, unobstructed doorway of Christ, for ridiculous thinking. There is no better option, there are no benefits to any other way that can save your eternal soul. It's like the person who needs more food that chooses to eat the seed rather than plant it. They satisfy the now by comprising the forever. They want to hold onto their fleshly passions, their earthly treasures or they think, "if this doesn't work maybe that will work"?! Not so. Life and death isn't a multiple choice decision, it's ride or die!
Ironically, the very first symbol of the way of escape from Eternal Death is the OPEN DOORWAY of the TOMB, a stone weighing a ton set aside by Jesus as the resurrected Christ. You can not get a more clear and conscise, unobstructed way of escape than that!
I pray that the Holy Spirit  touches those who are passing up the open door for the old decrepid wonky window, or the hot long climb to the roof. Jesus is calling you, come quickly!

John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Acts 4:12
And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
1 Timothy 2:5
For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
John 3:36
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
Romans 10:9
Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Matthew 25:41
“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
John 10:9
I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
John 8:24
I told you that you would die in your sins, for unless you believe that I am he you will die in your sins.”
John 3:18
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
John 3:3
Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Matthew 7:13-14
“Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.
John 5:23
That all may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.
Matthew 10:32-33
So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.
Matthew 7:23
And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
Acts 13:38-39 E
Let it be known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and by him everyone who believes is freed from everything from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses.
Ephesians 2:1-22
And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— ...
Romans 3:20
For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.
John 1:29
The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
Luke 10:25-37
And behold, a lawyer stood up to put him to the test, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” He said to him, “What is written in the Law? How do you read it?” And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” And he said to him, “You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live.” But he, desiring to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?” ...
Matthew 7:15
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
Colossians 1:15
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
Romans 5:1-21
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. ...
Acts 16:31
And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Isaiah 44:6
Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: “I am the first and I am the last; besides me there is no god.
1 John 5:11-12
And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
1 Corinthians 10:20
No, I imply that what pagans sacrifice they offer to demons and not to God. I do not want you to be participants with demons.
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Isaiah 35:8
And a highway shall be there, and it shall be called the Way of Holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it. It shall belong to those who walk on the way; even if they are fools, they shall not go astray.
Romans 10:14-17 ESV
How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
John 10:8
All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them.
Acts 17:31
Because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead.”

Thank you Jesus….8/16/16

Thank you Lord for blessing me with the ability to do this for YOU!

Seven years of devotional writing for You, Lord, has now been uploaded here to WordPress! A nice fresh new website, all of the bells and whistles that it truly deserves!  I am so grateful to have been blessed with these abilities; to write, to build websites, to create graphics and weave it all together.

It is amazing and rewarding for me to look back at all You have led me through, as it is only partially documented here. Seven years of obedience, it hardly seems enough but yet it is the most rewarding and cherished time spent on this earth. Being in Your presence, serving You, trusting You, surrendered & being remade by You; I woud not trade this for any earthly treasure.

My life for sure has had it's challenges, the contrast has been stark at times. You have never left me nor forsaken me. I see with my spiritual eyes that everything happens for a reason. Knowing full well, that if it is bad (it is still the better alternative that could have been) and that, if it is good (it is only a taste of what goodness You desire for me).

I pray day and night for more wisdom, knowledge, talent and abilities & You so graciously lavish me with more! You alone know the desires of my heart and they are safely entrusted to Your care. I surely believe that to have You is paramount to anything else. All other things would not hold any meaning whatsoever with You being the focus, the grantor and the reason for my happiness.

My prayer is that You are glorified here beyond all measure. My hope is that in some small way, I can show How Mighty and Awesome You are to someone, somewhere who is seeking meaning, direction, or the light at the end of the tunnel.

Lord, I ask for a supernatural blesssing to overthrow and encopass every reader here, Every person who comes to visit, every person why subscribes. That they are immediately touched by the Holy Spirit and that suddenly things begn to flourish in every direction, in such an overflow that is immeasurable, profound and lasting.

In Your Mighty Holy and ineffible name, calling it done in done. Forever grateful I am, AMEN!

Warship is the art of worship against the enemy 8/8/16

Warship is the art of worship against the enemy...

I remember seeing a very powerful movie, it was called "War Room". It highlighted a discipline of prayer and praise that many dedicated, seasoned & wise Christians participate in. It is perhaps the most powerful position we can take when matters are at their most dire. It takes true wisdom and humility to recognize that our own power and ability is useless against circumstances as they appear, for the appearance of things is subject to many things including collusion, confusion &  illusion.

2 Corinthians 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

How does one speak things into existence that are not? What does that mean? What does that look like?!

1. It is when the thing needed or desired is the polar opposite of what appears to be currently the case

2. It means you have to have the discipline to pray and courage to stand like a flint, waiting and trusting.

3. It looks like defeat to the rest of the world, but to the spirit who has dropped to their knees and deposited their petition at the throne of grace, it looks like the ONLY hope we ever had, its relying upon God's Mercy & Grace, knowing that things are the way they are, but we trust enough to surrender to Gods will with the Hope that if a way is possible, God will make it and bring it.

Even as I am writing this I am watching TBN and God is using what's currently on, to give me a confirmation in the spirit. What a blessing already released to me.

As I was sitting here, God showed me something else. It's SLAVation or SALVation, everyone gets to choose but only one of the choices leads to eternal bliss . No matter what anyone might think, no one is an island, we don't get here by ourselves, we don't survive here by ourselves and everyone has a LORD, some form of authority over them. Whether they are aware of it or not. Some have a Lord of their own making, yes, others have a false God, but that will not save them.

Our Lord, the Lord Jesus Christ, is He who came and walked where we walk, talked and lived among us, fully as a man and yet still fully God (as he accepted a lower position) without loosing His authority, He came as a servant, even through He is a King. He has earned the right. the respect and the supremacy through His title and victory over sin and death to back His words with Power and Might, the likes of which raise the dead, heal the leper and move mountains. There is no match or comparison in any realm, that will not have to bow to His name.

Every knee shall bow and every name under heaven and earth is subject, including: anxiety, destruction, depravity, depression, disease, disability, disadvantage, envy,  evil, greed,  hatred, stubbornness, racism, sickness, strife, poverty, pollution, and whatever else you can think of that presses against you to effect you in your life.

Don't forget to pray to the Lord for those things you think are dead & done. His word shall be the last word and His words are life to those who love and serve Him.

Have a very blessed week.

All time, divine time in no time! 8/1/16

Once again, God is so good to offer multiple overlapping signals about a topic. This week, the topic and focus is about TIME.

Time is a tool that God designed for us, so that we could measure. It is a necessity for us, in our environment, dividing the day from the night, days from months, months from years. Even down to the millisecond, our entire experience is incredibly short but marked & measured by a billion or more intervals.

In order for God to be omnipotent and omnipresent, He must be all things at all times. With God, there is NO time, time is something He assigned to this earth life experience for humans. As He always was and always will be.

Two very dear friends of mine, within the same week participated in just such a conversation with me, about this very topic. In a conversation with one of these two friends, God revealed something so incredibly powerful and illuminating to me. For us, 2000 years ago, Jesus conquered sin and death, covered us with His blood through the sacrificial covenant and sealed our salvation with guaranteed placement upon our acceptance of servitude to Him in His divine Authority. Do you realize fully what this truly means?

In order for you to be saved, to surrender to God, to accept Him, and walk in His righteousness; God knew before you were created, that you would be born under the sin curse, He knew that you would need salvation, He knew that you would be offered salvation, He made it possible for you to choose, even creating a possibility for you should you refuse. He, in His omniscient Love and total grace, knew that you would choose Him and your name appears in the Book of Life, as it has since the beginning, as it had to, in order for the possibility to exist (which is merely a concept for us) as time never had a start but always was. It is us, who are created out of His will. We are His will. That is God's will. We are the expression of His will. Both collectively and individually.  We are gifted with a choice to walk in His will, or to resist His will. The latter of the two containing all of the negative consequences and the better of the two, leading to sanctification and salvation.

Now, let’s apply this concept to His word and His promises. He tells us repeatedly, as we believe so we shall receive. Are you perceiving a shift in your awareness yet? Are you perceiving a shift in your belief system yet?

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

His word assures us, that 2000 years ago, our sin debt was paid in full by Jesus Christ. That satan was sentenced to Eternal damnation, he was defeated! That means that the Evil one is already serving his sentence. He is so warped and deceived by is own woeful disobedience that he doesn't recognize the futility of his striving. The war is won, the fate is sealed and the sentence is not reversible. The strife he causes is an affliction to mankind, but God in His goodness gave us AUTHORITY over the evil one. Scripture says so. Too often we accept this punishment out of weakness and ignorance. God doesn't want us being the victim, there are too many scriptures to list of His warnings to us about the character of lucifer and his demonic minions.

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

When we ask God for something (providing that it does not interfere with His laws and general benevolent will of our lives), it is as certain as time itself. It is appointed. It is also written that we should believe that we have it and through Him we will. Time is a series of appointed increments. All things occur in God's appointed time. A good parent never forces a child, before he or she is ready, to accept a new food, a new skill or a new concept until they are capable. God is our Good parent, ready to facilitate our needs in a manner that is cooperatively conducive to our readiness. He is the giver of Good gifts and His will is to offer us a future and a hope. The recipe for this is to ask, to believe and to trust; ask for what you need, believe that you have it and trust that He will deliver in the appointed time.

Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 - To every [thing there is] a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

2 Peter 3:8 - But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Proverbs 16:9
- A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.

Psalms 90:12 - So teach [us] to number our days, that we may apply [our] hearts unto wisdom.

Jeremiah 29:11
