Affirm Your Future 4-28-14

A dear friend and Sister in Christ emailed me an ebook that discusses Prophecy, the difference between foretelling ad forthtelling. Foretelling hearkens to mysticism and proposes to overstep the boundaries that God in His mercy toward us tells us is NOT of Him and should not be practiced. Whereas Forthtelling is covered all throughout scripture. It doesnt involve fortunetelling, seances or anything of the sort. The word says that, as we believe so we shall receive. The confession of the lips is the same power that allows us to Accept and Receive our salvation just as much as it allows us to Forthtell and speak Gods power into our lives and the lives of others.

Everything under the sun has an opposite. Foretelling and forthtelling are no different. The first called foretelling is authored by the enemy, sent to persuade, invade and control by fear, greed, delussion and vanity. Whereas Forthtelling is harnessing the Power of Gods word to weild and warrant authoratative dominion. Gods word says that when we employ His forthtelling onto our lives, we may heal the sick, part the seas, move mountains and cast out any and all evil. Its power is prophetic, the Word of God is such that when it is spoken, it never returns void  (Isaiah 55:11)

One puts you at enmity with God and is a very effective way of bringing you out of His favor and into calamity, clearly that is NOT the way to go.. The other, is Inherent Power, issued by the Almighty and backed with Eternal Force (Hebrews 4:12)  Begin at once to take inventory of your dialogue, beliefs and speach, substitute every limiting, defeative statement with Gods truth, power and love!

Want to see an amazing transfromation in your life and circumstances. Take this challenge. For the next 30 days, repeat these statement OUT LOUD, 15 times in succession for three times a day, for thirty days. If you only follow along for a day or two (forget or dont follow through, you will never see the impending results)

*I am all that God says I am, I can have, be and do anything*I am happy, healthy and aligned with the Divine*I have the power to change; I choose to change for the good of all.

Isaiah 55:11 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Joshua 1:8 - This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth but you shall meditate in it (word of God) day and night, that you may observe to do all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Proverbs 18:21 - Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

Romans 4: 16-17 - Abraham, who is the father of us all (as it is written 'I have made you a father of many nations') in the presence of Him whom he believed - God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things that are not as though they did; who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, 'so shall your descendants be.

Romans 12:6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith;

James 1: 22-25 - But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

Hebrews 4:12

12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11

This is the day the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13

Shifting the Burden 4-21-14

What a truly blessed Resurrection/Passover weekend this was! I was able to attend a massive celebration with my entire church for Good Friday as well as fellowship with my closest and dearest friends. I pray that everyone had an equally moving holiday weekend and that we all return our focus to that very PERFECT work that Jesus performed for us a little over 2,000 years ago!

The burden of sin had a penalty, did it not?! It's result meant eternal damnation ultimately, and for those unrepentant generations that followed after Adam, it meant toil, hardship and sickness of every degree for human life on earth. The work that Jesus performed that day, for sure shifted the burden that was placed against mankind onto himself, where the debt could once and for ALL be satisfied.

The message today is about the shifting of burden. Namely; forgiving and blessing your enemies! What does that mean?! Many people, of all walks, struggle with this concept and have no idea how trapped and imprisoned they are by their own burdens concerning whatever was wrongfully dealt them, which they insist on carrying around.

The other morning, while I was getting ready for the day, I just happened to catch a segment of something on tv, I couldn't see it BUT I could hear it, as I was fixing to get ready! It was a morning talk show and they mentioned this unusual occurrence by a well known Radio personality who shall remain nameless. This public personality is infamous for being opinionated, loud, callous and often very crass in their delivery. Most, if not all of the content appeals to those who believe sexism, consumption, ridicule and sarcasm are fair game, if arrows can be shot in the name of humor, this person is a sharp shooter with an endless supply of ammo!"

What caught my attention was what one of the chat show regulars said, they commented on how this well known radio personality was known to have verbally belittled & bullied another well known talkshow host who was on a different network and medium, altogether. For years, the insults, commentary and opinionated belligerence spewed toward this person. What many didn't realize, is that it was all completely unfounded and unwarranted, as the two had never even met. Apparently, just recently, the two had both been guests at an event. When the one found out that the other was there; what happened next will shock you.  Having suffered for years with this unrelenting ridicule, this other talkshow host saught out the Radio personality, most likely having to go out of their way just to get in their presence and then; once face to face,  warmly greeted this person, with hugs, handshakes and pleasantry! This happenstance didn't have such an impact that anyone should notice; nothing dramatic or scandalous ensued. Rather, it set in motion, the shifting of burden in the spirit to such a degree that what happened soon thereafter will surely prove this point.  The very Christian attitude exemplified by this person, in that moment, had such a powerful impact on this Radioshow personality, they were compelled to publicly renounce all former opinions, backbiting and hurtful words! It in fact, turned out to be one of the gushiest most sincere things this person has probably ever delivered over the airways!

This, my firiends is just merely an example of what we are taught about Not returning evil for evil, about blessing our enemies and about praying for those who wrongfully persecute us. When you pray for your enemies, you are in effect presenting your evidence to the Authority ABOVE, where an issue is therefore decreed and the other party, if truthfully at fault, now bears the burden to make reparation. When you return love for evil, you tear down the walls constructed by the enemy, freeing yourself and leaving the other party exposed to the Reality of their trangressions. When you Bless those wrongfully persecute you, you put a powerful, principle force into play that has to be fulfilled. Gods word shall not return void! Neither will forgiving your enemies! Had it not been for the forgiveness of enemies, Easter would never have been, nor the birth and death of Our Lord, Nor Eternity in Heaven. We were enemies with God, when He decided to save us by sending His Holy Son to warmly embrace and grace us!

Heaveny Father, I plead the blood of the Lamb over myself and all whom I hold dear. Lord, I stand before you having a heart ready to accept whatever Your will is, I have searched my soul and done the hard work of blessing and praying for any whom have hurt me. I pray that you would always keep my heart in this constant state of forgiveness, I pray that if there are any that I have forgotten that you would bring them to my attention. I wish everyone that I know would honour and love You as I do. I want for everyone that which I also want for myself. May You come quickly for us Lord, as this world is in such deseparate need of You! Jesus, You are the aim and Heaven will be the gain. In Your mighty name we pray AMEN!

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.

Luke 6:28
Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

Romans 12:14
Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them.

Proverbs 24:17
Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and let not your heart be glad when he stumbles,

Psalm 109:2-5
For wicked and deceitful mouths are opened against me, speaking against me with lying tongues. They encircle me with words of hate, and attack me without cause. In return for my love they accuse me, but I give myself to prayer. So they reward me evil for good, and hatred for my love.

Romans 12:20
To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head."

Matthew 5:43-48
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same?

Matthew 6:15
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Psalm 57:6
They set a net for my steps; my soul was bowed down. They dug a pit in my way, but they have fallen into it themselves. Selah

Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

Luke 23:34
And Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” And they cast lots to divide his garments.

Psalm 35:1-28
Of David. Contend, O Lord, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight against me! Take hold of shield and buckler and rise for my help! Draw the spear and javelin against my pursuers! Say to my soul, “I am your salvation!” Let them be put to shame and dishonor who seek after my life! Let them be turned back and disappointed who devise evil against me! Let them be like chaff before the wind, with the angel of the Lord driving them away!

Proverbs 25:22
For you will heap burning coals on his head, and the Lord will reward you.

At His Word 4-14-14

Every one of us, at one point or another, has been let down, either by the words of others or at our very own. Whether it was a commitment that didn't pan out or a New Years resolution, a declaration, or a promise that was tossed out carelessly without substantial forethought or follow through. After all, we are human, we have faults and promise keeping is one of them were most of us have faced a challenge in making or receiving.

If we BUT only realize that God knows this about us; He knows our faults, weaknesses and inability to be consistent. In fact, many are predisposed to being lied to because they themselves have not the spirit of Truth dwelling within. Isn't it obvious when dealing with someone who tries to sell you on "their lie" when the truth is so apparent to everyone else, except for them! In many instances they truly believe the lies they have absorbed and concocted, worse yet is they expect everyone else to as well.

Truth is, in the end days, many will become intoxicated with self serving lies, they will accept lies and even construct them. It will be the only way their existence is conducted because it will facilitate their inequities. One thing they do not take into account is that God knows and sees all! One day their own words will be the very thing that witness' against them.

On the other side of this spectrum is the inability for God to not keep His word. This should be a great source of encouragement and comfort to you.

The word promise itself occurs 13 times in the King James Version of the Bible. (see versus below)
AND There are roughly over 7,487 promises made by God to man in the Bible.

I will share with you just a few of my favorites;

Proverbs 3:5-7

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

Philippians 4:6-7

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Psalms 50:15
And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
 Luke 11:9-13
And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
Deuteronomy 28:12
The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.

Isaiah 65:24
And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
Jeremiah 33:3
Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Scriptures where the word "promise" appears:

Romans 9:4
Romans 15:8
2 Corinthians 1:20
2 Corinthians 7:1
Galatians 3:16
Galatians 3:21
Hebrews 6:12
Hebrews 7:6
Hebrews 8:6

Blessed are the Feet 4-7-14

Once again, I have had several instances of a recurring theme show up, getting my attention. In this case it revolves around a shoe. You see, ever since I broke my leg, the time I spent recovering and healing, I found myself truly diving into Gods word for solace and comfort. I also spent a great deal of time painting, (although the paint was digital, just me and my iPad) I was playing around one day and just happened to start a free-form painting, something that looked like a woman's high heel shoe emerged, so I went with it. It came out fantastic, it pleased me so much, that it became the first in a series of shoes. I thought later on about it that perhaps it was because I was injured and desirous of being able to return to such attire (which seemed really far off, if ever at all).LOL

Rolling ahead, I've recovered, but keep painting my fancy shoes amongst other works of art. Incidentally, over over the last few weeks, I've been drawn to several passages in the Bible, all of which revolve around a shoe or shoes. I watched the movie, the Story of Ruth from the Bible, (Ruth 4:7) who became the wife of Boaz, (the Great Grandparents of David) I read about Moses being instructed to remove his shoes, as he was standing on Holy ground (Exodus 3:5) and the same thing for Joshua (Joshua 5: 14-15). Further research uncovered yet other mention of shoes, such as (Amos 2:6) which refers to Joseph, who was sold by his brothers into slavery! (which speaks to the injustices of this world, those who sit in high places who have dominion and power, supposing to be in good standing, who are not)

Every account mentioned above, has different meanings, different connotations attached, one meant concession (forfeiting their possession or rights thereto) another meant humbleness, in standing before God and yet another stood for symbolism of an injustice (where money, possession and power were favored over the kinship of blood and brotherhood). So what is the underlying unifying theme to all of this. It is obedience, obtaining it, remaining in it or the lack of it!

I think of a baby, walking around with no shoes, barefoot and it conjures up thoughts of trust, being carefree and cared for. God wants us in spirit to be barefoot to Him, like a baby. We see the loss of a shoe, as symbolic, this applies to anything you might have lost in your life; if it's yours and meant for you, worn by you, what use is it to anyone else?! In all honesty those that take from others will find that their spoils are as useful as one shoe, in other words useless! That which is taken from us wrongfully, will surely have to be returned or counted to us for restitution. Then we have the conscious and intentional forfeit, isn't that a picture of dying to this world for the gain of Christ Jesus?! Having the Lord dwell within us, shouldn't we allow Him to fill our shoes? To order our footsteps and keep us on that path?!

Blessed are the feet of those who spread the Gospel!
Romans 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

I hope that gives you some new insights on the significance of walking with the Lord and staying in step with the rhythm of obedience! Have a Blessed week!

Heavenly Father, I plead the blood of the lamb protection over me and mine, over the family, my brothers and sisters in Christ, Lord. let our footsteps always be in proper alignment. Keep us on the path to attaining Your righteousness, go before us in all things preparing the way. Help us to stand strong in Your will and walk swiftly away from anything that is not pleasing to You. Steady us in our endeavors and bless us as we carry out your commands in this life as well as the one promised to us, which is coming soon! In Jesus Yehushua Mighty name, we pray amen!

Amos 2:6 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes;

Joshua 5: 14-15 He said, “No; rather I indeed come now as captain of the host of the LORD.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and bowed down, and said to him, “What has my lord to say to his servant?” 15The captain of the LORD’S host said to Joshua, “Remove your sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so.

Exodus 3:5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.

Ruth4:7 Now this was the manner in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave it to his neighbour: and this was a testimony in Israel.

Isaiah 52:7
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace; that brings good tidings of good, that publishes salvation; that says unto Zion, Your God reigns!
