Keys PLEASE 6/30/14

Keys are an important part of daily life, they give us access to the things we want, need and use, as well as help to secure those things when we are not present to occupy. We open doors to our homes, business' and vehicles and we lock those doors to keep others out.

Did Our Father in Heaven not know the importance?! Of course He did, not only is He aware but has gone to great lengths making us aware of the Kingdom Keys and instructing us on the effective usage. Under, through and by the Authority of the Messiah, The Lord Jesus Christ, the Name above all names we are given keys and they have GREAT POWER!

There is a spiritual principle that correlates with each act, in this case, open doors and shut doors. God tell us in scripture that whatsoever we bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever we loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.

  • Binding is for things that are of darkness
  • Loosing is for things that are of the light
  • The magistrate, God Almighty is witness to whatever transpires

Through the Power and Authority of Christ Jesus the Messiah, we have been bestowed this great privilege, similar to when a child is given a key to the family home and instructed to use it, guard it, protect it. They are told whom is allowed in and whom is not. This is also for their safety, its access to a safe haven if they should need it. God, has made just such provisions for us.

Binding is for anything that would attempt to gain a stronghold in your life, disobedient behaviors, unrepentant ways, all types of demonic activity and the spirits of it's cooperation. (You would bind an enemy or a transgressor.)

Loosing is for the power of love, temperance, forgiveness, blessings as well as assistance from Angels of God for our betterment. (You would loose a protector or an innocent captive.)

We already know from studying the word, that words have power, unto being a blessing or a curse, anything other than those two are what is called idle words *Matthew 12:36 (for which all shall be judged). We are told to be mindful that EVERYTHING we utter in day to day life, in anger and even in prayer, it is In effect recorded and put into motion. Like adding ingredients to a recipe; once its in the pot it just gets stirred and can truly fowl things up, if it doesn't belong there. Be mindful of your words, your thoughts and your actions. Everyday, fine people, even people of God close the doors to their blessings by their very own words of unbelief, negativity, fowl language, hasty words and belligerence. Their actions speak for them and those things that they do can also hinder their blessings from crossing the threshold into their lives.

In Due Season

Several words have come to me in the spirit that didn't seem to be related at all. I asked the Lord, what is the meaning here? I see the words compassion, persistence, perseverance and then I received several confirmations on the word "season" . The Lord showed me that this is the unifying measure, a season for everything. Just  like the minutes in an hour, they are all necessary to complete that 60 minute unit, you can not skip over one and jump ahead to the end, they all have to unfold in the order and manner in which God has pre-ordained. There is a lesson and a blessing contained in each one;  the hard minutes, the easy minutes, the wandering minutes. Some find us weeping, others find us laughing. We have some to share with friends, others to devote to work but all of these minutes (are a GIFT) from above.

We only have a certain amount of them, it is within this prescribed time that we live our lives. Often, we are awoken by the alarm clock going off, the bell alerting us that something or someone has arrived or simply the telephone ringing as someone reaches out to contact us. God is quickening our time, especially now. He is calling out to us, signs, tones, sounds, alerts. Pay attention, He is saying. Look here, He wants us to be aware. Be ready, get prepared by being prepared. "Stay calm and carry on", a popular phrase & Oh so fitting.

Persistence & perseverance are required to face life, the choices we make & challenges that come. One of the largest lessons of life is that of compassion. It's a bi-product of LOVE, born from experience, forgiveness & grace. As we learn what life holds and have walked those similar paths we can relate to someone in pain, in need, someone who may be naive, misguided or even downright stupid. Compassion is something that is like a walking stick, it will help you cope with life as you stake your claim at every step. It is an investment in comfort for when you might need it to boomerang back upon your life.

Live and enjoy each minute to its fullest, let it have its place. You will find the greatest peace in accepting what God has for you in every situation. Naturally, we all have schedules, deadlines & appointments. For sure, we must honor all that we set out to do. I am talking about the content of those minutes. Learning to experience and look for the season that it holds. Every minute of Christmas morning is enjoyed by children awaiting the presents they have come to expect. Every minute of a woman's pregnancy is met with anticipation and plans for that special first moment and the millions of special firsts that will be born with that child. Our Father wants us to be aware that we are in a season very similar. There are new moments that await, new lessons, new blessings. The Season of Harvest is coming and the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

LET US PRAY:
Abba father, help us to have no more time than do anything other than remain in your presence, as You guide and direct us toward your perfect plan for our lives. Keep us every vigilant in preparation for those thing You have told us to be ready for. Let us not wander away from those things which are there to help guide us, keep us in ear shot of every reminder. Let our ears be attuned to Your words, let our eyes stay focused on your Truth and let our hearts remain fixed on the promises, for none of them shall fail. We ask for special blessings of perseverance and persistence to keep us on track to receive every message, lesson and blessing. In Jesus Mighty name we pray AMEN

Proverbs 15:23 – A man has joy by the answer of his mouth.  And a word spoken in due season, how good it is!

Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Romans 5:3 Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces 4 perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.

2 Thessalonians 1:4 Therefore, among God’s churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring.

2 Thessalonians 3:4-54  We have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we command. 5 May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.

Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

James 1:2-42 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4 Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

2 Peter 1:5-75 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7 and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love.

1 Timothy 4:15 Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress. ‘ Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.

Spirit Census 6-16-14

Checks & balances, weights & measures are important to us, they constitute and signal to us what is working and what isn't, what needs attention and when all goes well, it simply confirms to us that its going right.

Spiritually speaking, we would do well to keep tabs on where we stand in the grander scheme. Are we actively spreading the gospel? Are we communing with the Lord, in thoughts, prayers and study? Are we giving to the church, to the best of our ability? Are we serving others?

Inventory of our blessings should not be limited to physical provision and monetary blessings. If you were pull out a piece of loose leaf paper and begin to write down everything that has been accounted to your benefit, if you are honest, it will require many more pieces of paper and should probably never end.

EX.
I am blessed with the gift of today
I am blessed with happiness
I am blessed with eyesight
I am blessed with good health
I am blessed with the ability to write & read
I am blessed with a home to live in
I am blessed with a good brain
I am blessed with artistic talent
I am blessed with a great family and friends
I am blessed with a wonderful family in Christ and a great house of worship
I am blessed with plenty of ambition
I am blessed with many gifts and talents
I am blessed with two adorable furry kitties

......as I go forward with my own list, I am blown away! Thank you Jesus for all the many blessings in my life and I thank you equally for everything that is NOT in my life.

If there is something showing up in your experience that seems to be cyclical, re-occurring or troubling, Go ahead and ask the Lord to rebuke it, to break it off of you. If it hinders your relationship with righteousness or with staying in Gods favor, with maturing and growing in the spirit, then it's GOT TO GO! Amen?!

There are many spirits that can attempt to come on us through unsavory events in life, trauma can cause a spirit of trauma to attempt to attach itself, it needs to be broken off and cast away. Same thing with the spirit of poverty, or infirmity or any other life effacing issue.

Do some research and discover what might be attempting to gain a foothold in your life, don't be afraid to confide in your Pastor or prayer partners. Ask God for direction on how to break it off and get deliverance.

Here is a reference to a small list (most common ones) although sadly, there are many many more, this is a good place to start your research...
http://aletheiaministry.com/evil%20spirits%20list.html

1 John 4;1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.

Deuteronomy 8:18 But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.

Proverbs 8:21 bestowing a rich inheritance on those who love me and making their treasuries full.

Proverbs 14:24 The wealth of the wise is their crown, but the folly of fools yields folly.

Romans 12:3 For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.

2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!

1 Peter 1:13 Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

James 1:23-25 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.

Breakthrough is at hand, receive it! 6/9/14

God is so Good to show us just enough of what is really going on according to our level of growth.

I planted some baby vegetables recently, I tended to them, ammended the soil, fed them great plant food, did all could do to ensure they would grow healthy and strong. A few days after all the buds sprung forth and the plants were somewhat established, some little critter came along and chewed the leaves right off, I mean down to the stub. I was sick over it, all I could do was think of all the time and energy spent, not to mention the dreams I had of picking my dinner fresh from the garden one day in the near future. I scowled and complained, searched for fencing, cayenne peppered the area and even imagined hooking up bells to roping tied around stakes to alert me if a small animal decided  it was gonnna come around for seconds.

Later on at the end of the week, I received some dissappointing news, right before I was about to embark upon some divine events, I knew immediately that it was enemy, attempting to steal my joy. After a while you get to discern the tactics of the enemy. Straight after receiving this news I prayed to God for His solution, turning it over to Him. I decided that hour, that it was a signal to me, of Blessings to come.  I decided that I was going to trust God that even though this situation is assuredly unfair and not aright, that I would praise Him, giving Him the Glory and pushing it away from me just as I would anything else that I didn't invite, wish to receive or appreciate.

God showed out and showed up in WORD to me, through the lips of Joel Osteen as I attended a Night of Hope at Yankee Stadium, as he mentioned that life can be stinky and that the maneur that gets flung on us from the world, is the very stuff that God will use to advance us, promote us and to propogate some blessing forward into our lives.

The plants incidentally did grow back, their leaves returned and grew exponentially faster than I expected, after a few days of rain and sun they have tripled in size. I knew that this also translated as a signal to me, that the chewed up leaves of my life are purely evidence of some future blessing being cultivated deep below the surface.

Later on I attended a Memebership class to become officially enrolled at my church of three plus years. We all had to introduce ourselves to other new members, wear name tags, etc. Some even commented on the uniqueness of their own names, whether that be their first name or last name. We can all relate to some degree. So, as I had some free moments to contemplate and talk with the Lord, He reminded me that Adam had the task of naming everything on this earth. The one thing that we really dont have a hand in naming is our own name, but yet over time we associate and relate to that name, because its been spoken over us since birth. God said, we get to choose what to call everything that comes our way, if you call it a blessing, so shall it be!

This morning, while preparing to send this message out, I noticed in my news feed a really great quote, placed there by a friend and sister in Crist, which reads; "God can FIX whatever is broken in your life and he can BREAK whatever is in your way" ...(Thanks for posting that, Deb M. )

Have a Blessed week!

Proverbs 10:7
The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot.

Isaiah 30:21
And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

Genesis 50:20
But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

***BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU THINK AND WHAT YOU VERBALIZE````
James 3;10
Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

His Name is Mighty 6/2/14

There is a very corrosive spirit that attaches itself to people who feel justified, people who have un- resolved emotional baggage, anger, resentment, disdain, who suffer from lack of tolerance, education and/or mental stability. It's the spirit of profanity, it tries to attach itself to these people. Seeking a viable host, this spirit is not impartial to the sick or demented, in fact they have little control over casting it off.

A friend of mine was sharing the rather unfortunate and uncomfortable fact that one of the elderly dementia patients on the same floor of where their parent is recovering/residing, suffers from just such a spirit. anyone who tries to engage in conversation or comes within earshot of this woman is bombarded with a barrage of insults and expletives that would make a truck driver turn red with embarrassment. The staff roll their eyes or literally shove food into her mouth, if its dinner hour trying to shut her up, but this is only masking or ignoring the sad and simple truth, it's a spirit that needs to be cast out.

I know many people who entertain just such spirits, to lesser or varying degrees. theses people seldom realize how offensive this vernacular is or even what the truest implications of what its presence means. Left unchecked, it's a condition that leads to moral and spiritual decay as well as exposing the host to the unfortunate misrepresentations or consequences of allowing it to reside and abide with them.

Everyone is entitled to a moment, we've all been there, to one degree or another, even that unfortunate slip can cause us shame or embarrassment. Have you ever noticed though, how easy and effortless the callous ones are that take the Lords name in vain? It's the name above all names, and it is charged with power, that's why it's a favorite of the spirit of profanity, it's meant to offend God. There isn't a believer I know who isn't equally offended, if &  when we hear it, because we reverence and respect that name for what it stands for, our sovereign and Mighty Lord! We recognize the unfortunate position of the offender whether it be in ignorance or indifference.

The word of God explains that the evidence of our inward man will become manifest in our outward man by the content of our speech. It's our job to self check and line up with what is good, true, holy and respectable. if you encounter this spirit, take authority over it in Jesus name! Cast it off and out of the person! Just as you would a bug or some other intrusive presence that might land on their person.

I plead the blood of the Lamb protection over me and mine, over all whom I hold dear, over all who read and hear this. In the mighty name of Jesus and through that Authority, I cast out the spirit of profanity, from all whom would come in contact with me, from all whom I pass and engage with in my journey. It command you spirit of profanity to depart from those whom I hold in my mind right now, from this elderly woman and from all others like her, to weak or ignorant to know better. I cast you out, depart and command you to keep going, do not stop, keep going, keep going, back to the author of lies, you are sent to the pit where you belong.

The worst litter in this world is that of language, it's stench and odor is the foulest of all, it's corrosive decay can undo the structure of integrity, morality and  civilized society. It must be addressed and returned to sender with no forwarding address!

Have a blessed week and remember, speak words of life and love, power and presence. We get what we focus on!

Colossians 4:6 Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer every man.

Matthew 12:35

A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.

Ephesians 4:29
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

1 Peter 3:15
But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,

Ephesians 5:4
Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.

Proverbs 26:19
is one who deceives their neighbor and says, "I was only joking!"

Colossians 3:8
But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
