Memorial 5-26-14

In general , days of remembrance are important to us; anniversaries, birthdays, special events and notable dates of old, today, being Memorial Day, we celebrate those who served and sacrificed to provide us with freedoms of liberty.

Similar to veterans, Christian saints and martyrs are no different! All of them individually and collectively served to bring about a right of passage in some capacity, for the benefit of all. The grandest of Christian benefactors we have is Jesus Christ himself, for truly His contribution was the Greatest!

For many, it's ignorantly reduced to a day off from work, a barbecue with friends, or the opening day at the beach, but the one thing that every veteran of loss wants others to do is observe with gratitude and thankfulness that opportunity, given to all, at the cost of those who served. They want to be acknowledged in a meaningful way.

There are many ways to show your gratitude and make a difference. give it some thought and see what feels best to you, support a cause that helps to support them, tell one of them how thankful you are, pray for them. get creative and find a new way to say thanks.

There is an all too prominent threat that still lingers here even with all of our liberties, it's the war against evil, in that struggle we all should be geared up and manning the front line. Draft yourself today into the Army of Gods kingdom, He will equip you with all you need, all you must do is apply with an open heart and a willingness to surrender all.  Principalities and powers that be are NO match for God and His elect!

Have a Blessed memorial day, make it a memorable and thankful one!

1Corinthians 11;24
And when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
Luke 22:9

And he took bread, and gave thanks, and broke it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

Acts 2:42

42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Declarations 5-19-14

Declarations are important to us, we have the Declaration of Independence here in the US, which we celebrate on July 4th. Today is Victoria Day in Canada, their equivalent of our Independence day & Marriages are ceremoniously observed over declarations of Love.

A declaration is an ofifcial way of stating intentions, facts and plans to be carried out. We should all be familiar with the fact that what we speak has power, just as surely as what we think & do. When all three faculties join forces we have what you would call a declaration.

The Ten Commandments were Decreed by God and then declared to the rest of us by Moses. I was browsing through the news feed online and happened upon an article. The judge best known for refusing to remove a Ten Commandments monument from the Alabama Judicial Building suggested that the First Amendment only protects the religious speech of Christians. Roy Moore, the chief justice of Alabama's state Supreme Court based this statement upon the definition of the 'One true God of the Bible' as Our creator and therefore the 'subject' of the religious freedom. The statement he made might strike others as opinion but it truly has more weight than that, its more of a Declaration.

Thank Goodness that God's intentions, plans and promises toward us are inevitable, irrefutable and eternally destined. This is a great source of encouragement for us as believe res, for there is great confidence in this knowledge. If the Lord has deemed something so, it surely SHALL BE! Whether it be from (*Proverbs 6:31) restoration straight through to our eternal inheritance. Every one of His promises, every one of His plans and every single thing predicted shall come to pass. (*Matthew 5:18)

Isaiah 42:9
Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

Rom. 3:23–24
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus”

 Referenced in narrative above:

* Proverbs 6:31 but if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold;
he shall give all the substance of his house.

*Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Here are some great declarations fro the Bible that you can aspire to.

I am redeemed, sanctified and made righteous in Christ (see 1 Cor. 1:30)

I've been transferred out of the kingdom of darkness and into to the kingdom of God's Son, the kingdom of light (see Col. 1:13)

All of my sins have been forgiven in Christ (see Eph. 1:7)

I am a new creation in Christ—my old life has passed away (see 2 Cor. 5:17)

God has prepared good works beforehand for me to walk in (see Eph. 2:10)
I overwhelmingly conquer in all things through Christ who loved me (see Rom. 8:37).

I've become the righteousness of God in Christ (see 2 Cor. 5:21)

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (see Phil. 4:13).

My God supplies all my needs according to His riches in glory in Christ (see Phil. 4:19).

I am called to be a saint (see 1 Cor. 1:2)

I am a child of God (see John 1:12, 1 John 3:1-2)

My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (see 1 Cor. 6:19)

It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me (see Gal. 2:20).

I have been delivered from Satan's authority (see Acts 26:18)

God's love has been shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit (see Rom. 5:5)

I am blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ (see Eph. 1:3)

I am seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above all of Satan's spiritual forces (see Eph. 2:4-6)
Greater is He who is in me than he (Satan) who is in the world (see 1 John 4:4)

Because I love God and am called according to His purpose, He is causing all things to work together for good (see Rom. 8:28)

If God is for me, who can be against me? (see Rom. 8:31)

Nothing can separate me from Christ's love (see Rom. 8:35-39).

All things are possible for me because I'm a believer (see Mark 9:23)

Joy comes in the Morning 5/12/14

One very valuable thing my Mother taught me and reinforced, was to honor yourself, speak your truth and always be good to yourself. When I was overloaded with burdens, tasks and the happenstances of life, she would remind me that ONLY I could edit, amend and manage my 'to do' list. She always felt that my ambitions overextended most any ones capacity, LOL I have truly learned to slow down and take it easier on myself, and life has surely thrown things at me that demanded it.

Yesterday was a very difficult day, acknowledging Mothers day and not being able to spoil her, talk with her or hug her. A day doesn't go by where I don't think of her, miss her and honor her many gifts of love and sacrifice.

Taking a cue from how I am feeling, I am allowing myself a day to recuperate. The Lord tells us that we are to be glad and rejoice in the day. Today I will do exactly that. Every moment is a gift. Joy comes in the morning and I cant help but try to apply that to the "mourning" as well. For me its a quest to remain thankful, happy and fulfilled.

Be back next week, God willing, with more messages of encouragement from our Lord!

Have a Blessed week!

Psalm 30:5 For his anger endures but a moment; in his favor is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

Psalm 118:24
This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Psalm 31:7
I will be glad and rejoice in your love, for you saw my affliction and knew the anguish of my soul.

Psalm 118:23
the LORD has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes.

Psalm 126:5
Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.

2 Corinthians 4:17
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

Thirsting for God
(2 Samuel 16:1-4)
1O God, you are my God; early will I seek you: my soul thirsts for you, my flesh longs for you in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
2To see your power and your glory, so as I have seen you in the sanctuary.
3Because your loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise you.
4Thus will I bless you while I live: I will lift up my hands in your name.
5My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise you with joyful lips:
6When I remember you on my bed, and meditate on you in the night watches.
7Because you have been my help, therefore in the shadow of your wings will I rejoice.
8My soul follows hard after you: your right hand upholds me.
9But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.
10They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.
11But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that swears by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.

5-5-14 Drive Out the Oppressor

We are all familiar with that occasional 'nail in the tire', you know the one that causes a slow leak. It can go undetected for miles, all the while, slowly depleting the tire of pressure and putting the driver at risk for a blow out or a total flat.

There is a much more dangerous NAIL affecting the lives of Christians as we navigate this world. The word says, that the love of money is evil, not money itself. Many Christians are under the false assessment that to be abundantly wealthy is somehow wrong! This is totally NOT true. Perhaps it's due to the very common fact that we see so many examples of the wicked seeming to be prospered, but remember, what we don't see is the simple fact that anyone who is not in obedience to The Lord is most definitely misusing their blessings! Whether it be for personal gratifications, indulging in activities that they ought not to or mis-using the power and affluence of money to hinder others through vanity, greed and oppression. On many levels they are at risk of being guilty of neglect, in regard to helping those around them. God designed currency for us as a tool, it is not to replace HIM, but He made it, knowing we would need it, after all, God owns everything that exists! He alone is the Author and gifter of every good gift! Money is a vehicle, so, if there is a nail in your spiritual tires, the spirit of lack and loss can run undetected along with every mile you traverse!

This is your day, drive with me into the "Firestone" of Gods deliverance! Pull that baby right on up, let's get that vehicle onto the lift, that tire has got to come off and those intrusions into your prosperity have got to be removed, pronto! Worry not, every make and model is serviced here, complete with a No Lack guarantee!  Who shall cover these costs?! Do not worry, says Our Lord,  Our Father is the wealthiest!

Heavenly Father, I plead the blood of the lamb protection over me and mine, over all that is connected to me and over every eye and ear connected to this message! Spirit of lack and loss, you are rebuked and bound by the Mighty name of Jesus, I command you to go, depart, return not. Swiftly, all evidence of intrusion is eradicated. Child of God, repeat after me, "I am now free from financial loss, no longer will I struggle for what God says is my birthright, no longer shall I go without what he has designed and placed abundantly for all! I shall sew and I Shall reap, I Shall go into the fields and gather, my possession and my portion shall not dwindle, I shall open my heart and my hands to the needy, giving freely from the abundance of Gods grace upon my life! I step into the flow of this Eternal storehouse, I am keeper of my blessings and gifter to the needy!" Lord, when something is delivered, it leaves one place and it is born into another. Therefore, Lord, we thank you, that THIS deliverance here is for Your children out of lack and oppression into Your Magnificent Prosperity! In Jesus Mighty name we pray, AMEN

James 4:2-3(KJV)2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. I am established in righteousness, and I am far from oppression

Isa. 54:14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. The enemy is forbidden take my inheritance through oppression

Ezek. 46:18 Moreover the prince shall not take of the people's inheritance by oppression, to thrust them out of their possession; but he shall give his sons inheritance out of his own possession: that my people be not scattered every man from his possession.
