The Monday Message 6/24/13 "Grumble vs. Humble"

Transcript of today's Message to be posted later!'s my Birthday! ....Off to enjoy some Birthday fun!

Grumble or humble! Both cant occupy the same space at the same time. today's discussion is about the spirit of humility and the grateful heart and it's also about discerning and avoiding the (grumbling heart), the complainer, the negative Nelly! No offense to any nellies out there!

By no means am I talking about situations where you have to speak up or aggressively pursue your objective. I’m talking about when your efforts have all failed. Also, there are some who's attitude is unbalanced, no fairground for the tolerable, never seeing the bounty, the blessing or the disguise!
When a situation or objective begins to appear challenged, right away this is a signal from The Lord that intervention from above is required.

Here are some steps to APPLY.
1. Pray to The Lord, establish in your heart and mind that He has ultimate knowledge of the outcome, the purpose and the path. Turn it over to Him and get out of the way.

2. Express to God and man, Your need. Simple is best. Example. “God, I need You to make a way where no way seems possible; This organization requires several hundreds of thousands of dollars in order to serve Your people!" ... If man can be about The Fathers much more so is the Father himself?! We also know from scripture we are His concern! And Man, as we express our need, God can press into others to Give.

3. Remember that sometimes, God, like a parent will often wait to see if our request is a need or a want. Often we think we know what we want and then quickly discover some unforeseen aspect that ruins it all. We have to Trust that Gods timing is just as important as the many details that have to be taken into account.

4. God promotes from the bottom. Those who have a servants heart are in perfect position to receive Gods favor. They never see it coming because they are so focused on Doing. If you want to be great, get good at being small, be mindful even when no ones paying attention. God is!

5. Do your best to NOT give added tangibility to the negative circumstances that seeming to prohibit your progress. If you have to share your plight, find a way of doing so where you create an opportunity for a turn around. Example: Although it doesn't seem possible for the funds to arrive, we know that God is the Great I am, if He wants the objective to be met, it will be met in some amazing way we hadn't thought of!"

Take care of what's been given to you. More than anything, God like a parent oversees our attitude of gratitude. Are we thankful for the many blessings that are abundant? Are we responsible and respectful toward those thing that have been entrusted to us?!

Grumblers are typically complainers. They find something negative to say about everything. Nothing is to their liking. They are usually selfish, unaware, unconcerned with others needs, only their own! They usually complain to those who can not help, which is unprofitable and can border on manipulation, the poor me pity party pooper)
Yeah Don't be that guy!

So, we see God has a purpose and a plan for everything, every moment of our existence, every challenge, setback, trial & hardship. As well, every victory, summit, triumph & success all work together to shape & mold us, to teach and train, to encourage and correct!

Have a great week and remember this....”If it doesn't come your way, have you stopped to pray?...Be careful what you think, do and say, because God can and just may!”

JOHN 21:25
And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

Matthew 6;25
Do Not Worry

25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble

The Monday Morning Message For The Eternal Body Of Christ 6-17-13 Godfidence & God Esteem

God Esteem and GODfidence

You might be asking yourself, what is God Esteem? ...and How does one obtain it?

Looking to God for every form of validation; self worth, value, acceptance, love, encouragement.
Redefining self worth based on Biblical principals, rooted in practical applications such as; small actions, small choices, small incremental advances but done consistently! Over time as you train your mind & your emotions to NOT REACT, but rather to recreate new realities that come into alignment with His word, thus, everything begins to change! The attitude & outlook effects or choices & decisions. Our decisions & actions affect our outcome! When all of these variables are filtered through His will for your life, you will be under His Divine overshadowing!

Let's redefine the term, "Self defeating" & discover the common misnomer associated with accepting total responsibility for these thoughts, behaviors and actions. Yes, we are partly responsible for them, in accepting them, in acting out upon them, in resigning to them BUT we need to recognize who the Author of wrong thinking truly is. Satan has the ability to speak to us in our own voice internally, mimicking us; in an attempt to gain access to the subconscious. He is the voice that speaks bad, negative, defeating words to your inner self. When you listen to this voice, especially when you are down or have failed at something, you secretly agree with the words, the put-downs or the insults. He tends to mock, he makes you think & fear that people don’t like you, that you aren’t good enough, strong enough, capable enough! This voice within is certainly not God, and it is certainly not You, until of course you begin adopting this way of thinking. This way of thinking is adopted whenever you give into those "suggestions" placed by the enemy.

James 5:19-20
 19Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
20Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

Ephesians 4:29
29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

If God tells us in the Bible how to conduct ourselves toward others, it is safe to also conclude that His spirit would also never inflict such demoralizing attacks on us.

There is a way to recognize the difference between inner conflict which arises from the conscience verses inner battery caused by satan's attempts to keep us in a downward spiral of bad feelings, choices & results! Once you are aware that this is a serious reality, you will begin to pay closer attention the dialogue that transpires between your ears! When something begins to make you feel bad, low and ugly...(ask God to reveal the truth to you)!
God does not belittle us, god does not speak words of condemnation to you inwardly!) Yes, the word of God, the Bible clearly explains condemning lifestyles and beliefs, but God does not talk down to us, He does not speak demoralizing words. He is the God of Mercy and the God of Grace!

God’s way of correcting offers us a way to feel good about our decision. Whenever the Holy Spirit (pricks our conscience) the Overwhelming truth and KEY FACT, you need to remember, is that you will always without question be offered an encouragement to amend your wrongful actions. You will always be met with some sort of empathy for someone with whom you have dealt wrongly. You will get the sensation that your action to make good or make better is a good thing & that even though you cannot undo what you did, you can correct it from happening again.

Whenever you are being spoken to in ERROR, you will always be served some sort of twisted justification. The entire focus will be on how bad you feel, how unfair it is & how easy it is to just accept the defeat! The voice of this abusive spirit can and will try to convince you that you are deserving of the outcome & that it is all your fault. No matter what the conflict is, it always seems to hinge upon struggles that you have had for years, this is because he knows where you are weakest and he kicks you when you are down!

Admonition, correction, praise and criticism....

We must also be careful, cautious if you will, where and how we accept any form of criticism.
I heard a sermon by J Staley which certainly rings true...there are people who spend their time trying to get into your head, to undermine you and thwart you. (they are directly under the influence of the demonic) there are only two sources that supply us with motivation, that of the heavenlies and that of the underworld.

Jim Staley- The Great Deception (Recognizing the Voice of the Enemy)

Matthew 11:28-30
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Luke 12:7
Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Zephaniah 3:17
The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.

John 10:1-42
“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the gatekeeper opens. The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. A stranger they will not follow, but they will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.”

The Monday Morning Message For The Eternal Body Of Christ 6-10-13 "Discretion & Modesty"

Discretion is the best accessory and Modesty is always suitable.

Discretion is a loyalty you owe to yourself first and also to others. Indiscretion can be showing too much and sharing too much. Who hasn’t been the target of  "Mouth Runneth Over" ...Someone just Sharing information indiscriminately. Beware, if they can do it to others they can do it to you. We also don't want to be exposed to a spirit of strife or become entangled, sometimes the person is not even aware they they need spiritual deliverance. Discretion is the best accessory because it always keeps you covered.

Modesty is always suitable. Unguarded, yet honest people are susceptible to “unwittingly, sharing too much", but, they can learn to hold back, to NOT offer what ISN’T required. Where as busybodies, seem to know just what to gather or use, at the worst moment.  With & without realizing, they create a stir about something that isn't an issue, manipulatively distracting.  Modesty should also be applied to how we go on about ourselves, what we share. Modesty should be used in how we critique others. Modesty is always in good taste when applied to a person’s wardrobe as well as their vernacular! What can come out of your mouth can defile you more than anything you could ever place into it! ...guard those lips!

Now, if the Holy Spirit has pinched your consciences a little, I’m glad, I’m not alone, LOL....We all, are no better, no worse. Having to be mindful of what others receive & perceive from us, it's an exchange of give and take. It's alright to care or be concerned, to a degree. Once you define ‘others’ &  once you define ‘think’! LOL  I’m most concerned with what, " I think others think!" < which is usually vastly different from what they actually think> so I've abandoned that practice long ago & live my life in accord with standards defined by Gods word. Even if I never measure up, I have a perfect blue-print which I will be rectified with, in the end.  God’s word is Powerful, Eternal & His grace is sufficient enough to include me. \o/ that's all I need focus on, all the time!!!

We need the LORD to mend up our spiritual garments, to reinforce those seems. This is accomplished with careful attention, true desire & simple surrender. Christians!; My Sisters & Brothers...from time to time, you might encounter someone trying to infringe upon these areas I’ve illustrated. I tell you the word of God instructs us to Be meek, NOT WEAK . When you have Gods opinion valued above man, it’s turning the mirror on the monster! Mistake a true Child of God for weak and you'll be sorely mistaken. Live respectfully with modesty & temperance BUT stand up for what’s right. In all things exemplify respect & in there so doing, you command it. We need Godly discernment & a fair amount of sensibility.

So the message in a nutshell...Select the garments of righteousness. Like you reach for sunglasses, sunblock & your gear. We can avoid getting burned by defending our spirit & slathering on a healthy dose of virtue. Watch what you expose yourself to & watch what is revealed. Be ready to yield your spirit to His promptings; That might be a directive to “stand & defend”, or it might be a directive to be "silent & still!" You'll know it, cause ‘silent and still’ is the exception but NOT the rule. Gods kingdom doesn't need any doormats, last we heard."

Have a great week everyone. Go out there own that authentic journey of “walking in Your Faith”! Never mind the nay sayers!  God Bless, see you next week!

Here’s that weekly free song I snagged from last week, Go to the link included in the transcript and get some free Christian tunes by the best artists serving the Lord.! We are CLOSING OUT  with Jeremy Camp and his song entitled, ”We Must remember”!

2 Timothy 1:7  For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Jonah 2:8  They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.

Proverbs 11:22 Like a gold ring in a pigs snout is a beautiful woman who shows no discretion.

Titus 2:3-5  The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

The Monday Morning Message For The Eternal Body Of Christ 6-3-13 "Who, Where and When"

Its Monday, June 3, 2013

“I do NOT know WHY? But I know “who”, “where” and “when”, and that’s enough!” Sounds like a set up for a parody or a skit? LOL,...Let me explain!  Its something I like to say when a senseless question is asked. Sometimes, such overwhelming things happen to us, that we get hung up on the question “why”. We will never know "WHY" some things have to occur & these larger than life events, alter our perspectives, they have the power to propel or to paralyze your spirit.

We do not need to focus on the “WHY”, its unprofitable, whatever that reasoning might possibly be! You see, what good is reasoning, if you are getting a glimpse into depravity? I don’t want to know any of the reasons behind any Evil thing or bad event! I just trust God, knowing & resting assured in the Knowledge that Daddy God, knows all, sees all & manages all. He is always working things out to assure our Very best outcome. The circumstances of whatever befalls a believer in Christ, will be used to usher forth some other blessing. That’s Gods divine equity program hard at work!

Focus on the Who. Jesus Christ our Lord!  Redeemer, Saviour! The “where”, well that was the Cross and the “When”, when Jesus returns; Every knee shall bow & every tear of ours, that He's collected, will be ANSWERED FOR, avenged!

Now all you believers out there, If you really believe in the "Who, Where and When", then Pray and really believe! Pray for increased faith, do you believe enough? Pray for more reasons to believe! Pray it forward!

If its flight or fright, pick flight! The word of God says we shall mount up with Wings like Eagles!

Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Genesis 50:20 You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.
Psalm 144:1 A Psalm of David. Blessed be the LORD, my rock, Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle;
Psalm 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
1 Peter 4:19 So then let those who suffer according to the will of God entrust their souls to a faithful Creator as they do good.
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:33  Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifies.

I just have to say thanks again to, for this extremely fitting song!!! Skip on over to their song room and pick up this weeks new FREE song! Just love that! Praise God!
(looks like this weeks free song is by Building 429 called “Get Up”
