MONDAY MORNING MESSAGE FOR The Eternal Body Of Christ 10-17-11

Goooood Morninnnnnnnnnng........

There is an old expression and you will see by the scripture reference below, it's origin goes all the way back to the Bible...Im reminded of a well known company which  incorporated the saying into their slogan for automobile servicing ... "We go the extra mile"...and of course the play on words gave it a dimension that was relatable to the consumer, ultimately they really wanted their "miles" to be better equipped and extended.

Matthew 5:41
And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.

God has such a love and knowledge of what is needed for us. He has, in advance, built into our journey certain check points and rest stops along the way. Knowing precisely when we would be low on energy, reserve or resource. The Bible is a source for us as it may come through our readings, a word from a christian friend, a sunday message or that precious moment when God speaks to our spirit from within our spirit.

2 Thessalonians 3:5
5 May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.

We must keep re-adjusting our compass to align with the Word, the Holy word which is a tool as much as a well spring. We are also to truly appreciate this special dispensation we have through that relationship. Like a driver might have OnStar, we have this all encompassing, ever present help which can be summoned by our heart, prayer and petitions to the Lord; The Holy Spirit.  When you've crashed, when you're lost, anything and every scenario that life shall throw your way.

God is just showing us such amazing Love, in this right now second and every one to follow, He is in Control, Ultimate dominion and Authority are His. He's right there with us, allow Him to navigate your life, seek Him for new direction, rely upon Him when resources seem scarce. Race to His arms, stop short of yourself and meet Him at the intersection of Will and Way!

Heavenly Father, I praise you and stand in such awe of your faithfulness; the amazing things You have done on our behalf, visible and invisible, forward, backwards and everywhere in betwixt. Lord, as we seek to become more comfortable with having You in full and total control of our lives we are learning to surrender to your complete faithfulness. Relinquishing and bypassing our "off the beaten paths" for the ones you suggest and steer us towards. We recognize that we have an ability to choose this way, even at your suggestions and interventions, some will still take that last minute swerve into perdition. Lord, we hold up these ones to you right now and pray for their safe return, we pray for our future decisions that they remain glorifying and on track, always toward the fulfillment of thatwhch you have designed us to reach! We ask this in the Mighty name of Yehushua, Jesus Christ our Lord, AMEN

2Cor 4:17-18
17 For our present troubles are quite small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us an immeasurably great glory that will last forever!
18 So we don't look at the troubles we can see right now; rather, we look forward to what we have not yet seen. For the troubles we see will soon be over, but the joys to come will last forever.

 Romans 5: 1-6

1 Therefore, since we have been made right in God's sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
2 Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of highestprivilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God's glory.
3 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for us--they help us learn to endure.
4 And endurance develops strength of character in us, and character strengthens our confident expectation of salvation.
5 And this expectation will not disappoint us. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
6 When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners.
