The presence of God is the Primary Focus 7/4/16

What makes our National Anthem so moving? What makes a great song so memorable?! What is it in a great sermon that ministers to you? It's the presence of God, at work, in a personal way!

Great art begins with a blank surface, void of any visual interference. Aren't we to be that empty canvas, that platform for the Lord to use us. To speak His message, to touch His believers, to minister to His children?!There is no better way to allow God to work in a powerful way than to yield to His presence.

When I first began this Ministry over six years ago. It was necessary for me to cultivate discipline, so I would "religiously" get up early every Monday and write out the message that I actually began researching and compiling days before. As time went on, God revealed to me; "I don't want you writing at a set time", "I want you to do this from a place of inspiration, as I lead you." Little by little, He showed me great compassion as I learned that He was proud of me whether I wrote a sentence, a paragraph or an essay. As time went on, my inspirations came regularly, enough that I was able to relax and literally get up Monday morning not knowing what would come, He has never let me down.

During the week, I minister to friends, to strangers and allow Him to minister to myself, as well. It's just as much a part of the Monday Message as the actual message I write out. It is the signals, signs and breadcrumb trail that is splayed out before me that is so instrumental to this venture. It's a process and a real relationship that I can not live without. It's the fundamental backbone of my faith because it so tangible, organic and natural to me at this point. It's His presence that makes it possible. I am so grateful!

There is a great video I found about this and it's so worth listening to.

It doesn't matter if one person reads this message or thousands. It is here for His purposes, to speak to whom He will at whatever point in time He chooses to lead someone to it. That is why I am here, to allow Him to shine!

Lord, I am Your canvas, paint what You will!

Job 22:21
"Yield now and be at peace with Him; Thereby good will come to you.
1 Peter 5:6

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time,
Matthew 6:9-10
"Pray, then, in this way: 'Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 'Your kingdom come Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.
1 Corinthians 15:27-28
For HE HAS PUT ALL THINGS IN SUBJECTION UNDER HIS FEET But when He says, "All things are put in subjection," it is evident that He is excepted who put all things in subjection to Him. When all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also will be subjected to the One who subjected all things to Him, so that God may be all in all.
Philippians 2:5-7
Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men.
