Separate the enemy from the evil 2-23-15

Romans 12:21

21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

You can not fight evil with wickedness, you can not conquer injustice with crime. The fastest and most effective way to disable the venom, extinguish the flames, dull the edge, deflect the bullet is with the armor of LOVE!

The first of this arsenal is prayer. Recognizing that perhaps, if someone had prayed for that person, perhaps they would not be so vile, so low, so devoid of a conscience. Prayer over our enemies is the most powerful antidote and inoculation from their attempts to poison us with the ugly disease they carry; deception, discord, greed, hatred, ignorance, insecurity, jealousy, power, revenge, selfishness, strife.

From there, we may appeal to the HIGH court of the Holy Spirit, to witness to them, to speak to them, to that innermost part, that point of access that is only acknowledged within, between their own two ears; through dreams, thoughts, perceptions & recollections.

We are distracted by the result not realizing the cause. The evil is the cause, and the actions of the enemy are the distraction! This is where the enemy is hoping to infect us as well. By causing us to loose our cool, or to take matters to a level that God commands us is His domain and His right, not ours! When we allow God to intervene on our behalf, the supernatural override brings about the best resolution in ways that only God can arrange.

If you are ever presented an opportunity to be a blessing to one of these, take it. It may seem counter intuitive BUT we are of the mind of Christ, after all, not the mind of this world. If you could only see them in the true light, you would see them as a pitiful result of a plan to consume their soul. Evil has only one motive, to devour; it's victims are those whom we call enemies, those that are hurt are the ones that hurt others. Until they deal with their transgressions, they are in a state of terrible peril. We must realize, it is by Grace through repentance & salvation, that we are spared from having to pay eternally for our transgressions, it is this knowledge, they clearly do not possess. We are to pray for them and if ever given an opportunity to bless them, take it and do so, to the best of your ability! Its the burden tipping point that makes all the difference.

I would highly suggest that you read Luke 6:27-30 and pray over it until it makes sense, until it no longer perplexes you, until the spirit yields the nugget of truth, until it sits well within you. (see below)

HEAVENLY FATHER, I pray and plead the blood of the lamb protection over me and mine, over you and yours, over all whom we hold dear, collectively and individually! Lord, I pray that we would see everyone more clearly, in the Light of Your Love toward all humanity. To bring everyone into alignment with Your word and truth. Let those who are at enmity with you be dealt with now, before they face eternal damnation. Let our witness be to them and have mercy Lord if our witness be against them. We trust they Yo go before us, dealing with our adversaries, Mightily! We trust that our enemies are your enemies and we surrender to the knowledge that You can deal better with them than we can. We rest in these assurances and know that none can pluck us from Your hands! In Jesus Mighty name, we pray AMEN

Choose this day and serve 2-16-15

Many, while in the pursuit of freedom have surrendered themselves to bondage for which there is no escape, unless they repent. Our time here is fleeting but the here after is eternal. Hindsight is always 20/20. But we have a God who knows the end from the beginning, ought we not subscribe to His advice?!

During a conversation recently with a friend, we were discussing why children actually need, want and look for boundaries & rules. Just like when driving, when we go to hit the brakes on a car, if there is no resistance, if it fluctuates at all, even a little bit, we would not trust that it would stop when it becomes truly necessary. This is why it's so important, as a parent to be consistent, knowing when to budge and for what as well as when not to. Giving ones word and sticking to it, is the best example and security blanket you could ever give to those whom you've been entrusted with.

God, as our parent has rules and boundaries for us, not to control us, or to create weak, uninteresting creatures, but to preserve & protect us. Vital to our spiritual, physical, mental and emotional health, is the adherence to God's principles. Our Fathers concern is for our welfare. He has set out advice, best practices, commandments, dictates, mandates, regulations, rules, & warnings for a reason. It's His word of Love for His creation, His children. Sometimes, in our limited understanding and maturity we can not completely see or discern the risk, the harm or consequence but know this, He does. Nothing God commands for us is from a position of harm or malice bur rather entirely from benevolence and Love!

I clearly remember (at a young age) being told I was not allowed to get my ears pierced. A friend and I got the bright idea to go ahead and do it anyway, a number of things sweetened the deal, the price, the convenience, a free pair of earrings with the service, some novocaine spray, etc. I was like, hrmfff, I dont understand what the big deal is, it didn't even hurt; She had nothing to worry about! I made my way back home & instantly upon answering the door, my Mother smacked me clear across the face, she noticed immediately that I had disobeyed her! It wasn't uncalled for, I knew I had deserved it, after all I had disobeyed her, I didn't even have a chance to plead my cause, she was so perceptive to have noticed that quick. I was just in shock and didn't fully realize. Later on, she explained to me, that it wasn't for the sake of not wanting me to have what I wanted, or her trying to control me, she was afraid that I would contract some awful infection or something worse from whomever & their possibly dirty equipment. Boy, did I feel silly, ungrateful and foolish! That slap, was the kindest thing she had ever administered because it was out of love! I knew without a doubt that she was for me and not against me, that she LOVED me and wanted what was best for me, that she couldn't be with me every minute but hopefully her words of advice and warning would be! When you stop to think of it, isn't that what God has done for us with His word, in His book the BIBLE?!

Hear His voice, Listen to His advice and do Your best with His best for you! The yoke of obedience to the word is far easier than the yoke of bondage to this world!

Thank you Lord for MY daVinci!

I am hurting so bad!!! Such a special cat & our bond was beyond belief! I just don't know how to deal right now, he did not deserve to suffer for even a second...it was an honor to be his human. I can only thank God for allowing me to have him, for rushing in to release him from pain, I surrender to the knowledge & hope that he might do the impossible and settling with the fact that He will be mine again in Heaven!

Poor MonaLisa...she is walking around looking for daVinci, crying for him. I sat to pet her, she licked my hand for a bout 3 minutes, which she never does, she knows I am hurting and she is too! Poor baby

She smells him but can not find him

She so sad!!! I can only love her and kiss her and tell her how special she is too!

Lord please help these hearts that LOVE so deep!!!

HEAVENLY FATHER, I THANK YOU FOR EVERY DAY THAT I WAS ALLOWED TO HAVE AND BE WITH DAVINCI, THIS SPECIAL CAT THAT YOU SENT TO ME, HE PICKED ME OUT AND CAPTURED MY HEART FROM THE START! HE WAS THE BEST LITTLE FURRY FRIEND AND LOVE I'VE EVER KNOWN. SO AFFECTIONATE, SO SWEET, SO ATTACHED TO ME, AS MUCH AS I WAS TO HIM! AS SAD AS I AM, I AM THANKFUL THAT YOU RELIEVED HIM OF LONG SUFFERING! I KNOW THAT YOU ARE TRYING TO SPEAK TO ME AND COMFORT ME, PLEASE DO NOT STOP, I AM TRULY HAVING A HARD TIME WITH THIS! THERE ARE NO WORDS THAT COULD COVER OR CONVEY WHAT IT FEELS LIKE!

The End, for which you can depend! 2-2-15

To every life, there comes a moment that defines you & shapes you, as it almost breaks you. It challenges you, at your very core, to where do you turn when in dire need?! It's that place where you have to dig deep, relying upon the hope of the future, lessons of the past, the desire for future life, the knowing that you just have to get through it. It's the spot that no one ever wants to be in, it's the hardest thing you have ever faced, up to that point. Sometimes, it situational, circumstantial, physical, emotional, spiritual and sometimes, it's the diabolical combination of all of them.

For me, I have had a few & sadly, I can now see how the ones I thought were so awful, merely prepared me for the one that was to come. I survived it! How?! Well, purely by the Grace of God. With every ounce of my being, I applied all that I had within me upon the Lord, surrendering & totally believing, if I was going to be 'sliding into Home base in Heaven', it would be while Praising the Name of the Lord! You just have no idea how bad it can be, until you are there, facing the nightmare, the pain, the knowledge that you are on the thinnest ice, teetering between here and the here-after.

It's been two years since that unfortunate event, in my case a severe injury. As I was sitting in silence with my thoughts upon that now distant event, all that transpired, I, more than anyone, recognize the futility of visiting it much, if at all. Actually, something sort of triggered it. Finding myself engrossed in these memories is like a new immersion, not to be relished and certainly not welcomed! How did it serve me?! Well, my spirit and the Lord, had a little sit down. Ya see, that's the brighter side of this ever flourishing, close relationship with the Lord. Not only does the Lord Love me, protect me, guide me, seek to bless me and comfort me BUT He also knows that sometimes, above & beyond all, an answer, a tidbit, and a glimpse into the BIG PICTURE makes all the difference. I think in the Movies, they call that the "spoiler".

So here it is, the glimpse, the vision, the concession is this; one day, when all is said and done, when Satan is banished for eternity, when that gulf is affixed for eternity, his punishment will be the constant reminding of his deeds. There will be a never ending, looping playback, of You and Me, in our hardship, how we handled ourselves, how we triumphed, held on, praised the Lord, how we sought the Lord & reached for Him! Every evil plot & plan of the enemy which failed, playing again and again & again! To further that, the knowledge of our Blessings & Favor from God will be like salt in his self inflicted wound. That place will have all the endings wished upon us, played out upon him! The ultimate irony and justice complete!

It's easy to get distracted from your purpose before an event like this. Once an event like this has effected you, you can no longer ignore the place of grace that has been gifted to you. You are here for a reason and a season. It is for us to make it count, with the help of our Lord! Its what we call redeeming the day, in every way, it's all about what you reach & strive for.

So, remember, no matter what has come or what will come, you have a choice, a chance and
an eternal compensation. You need to hold on, lean on Pappa, dig deep, remember that God is always for you, NOT EVER against You. Until the day that you die, He will always be there to forgive, to purify, to restore, to take you back. If you have God in your life, that is pretty much the best thing you could ever acquire (from this place that will one day come to naught). There is nothing of value here, save the LOVE! The Love you have for others and the Love that God cultivates for you to experience of Him! In the end, for us, its just the LOVE that endures.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for showing me the value of my triumphs. Thank You for conquering sin & death, for never leaving me, for never forsaking me. Thank You for being present during every event. there for me should I notice or remember or require. Thank You that none of what I have endured is or ever will be wasted. I know that my assignment is to serve You, to be happy & fulfilled, to share the wisdom You have bestowed upon me. I know that I am the only me, that can ever be, with unique experiences and a contribution to life that none other could offer. In Jesus Mighty name, we praise You and Thank YOU!
