IN LIGHT OF THE RECENT TRAGEDY IN CONNECTICUT LET US ALL TAKE A MOMENT TO REFLECT AND PRAY!
THE FUTURE RESTS IN THE CHOICES THAT ARE MADE.

~ HOPE IN THE FACE OF TRAGEDY – SANDY HOOK 2012~
There is just no making sense of a senseless act of EVIL, no matter what may have caused or inspired it. No words, no precautions, no measures could counteract the unknown. Could we ever hope to grasp the magnitude of it? Such an awful tragedy and it calls light to the fact that we live in a very, very sick world.
Explanations, excuses, reasons, inadequacies, whatever the cause, whatever the means, whatever the description, it all boils down to the irrefutable fact. The ONLY hope or help we have is in a restored relationship with our Lord. Many think they will have time to strengthen this relationship, many think they will have time to repair it, if it’s broken and others do not even have such a relationship. That is why these types of tragedies occur.
Our world is at a point spoken of as exceeding wicked, as God’s word prophetically warns us, we need to invoke a worldwide human/spiritual transformation. A Global awakening with a divine reformation.
We need to bring GOD back into the schools, during mealtime as grace, or at night with eyes & hands clasped tight for bedtime prayer. Your presence, Lord, is needed in every interaction throughout Our Day to Day lives. Lord, we need this world radically adjusted, we need an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon every consciousness.
Now is the time! The actions and choices made in the now determine where our eternal footprints will be found, whether they be on heavenly soil or that of dark, eternal misery.
I literally envision every person I have ever met, visualizing them as I send… love, friendship, joy, happiness, blessings, forgiveness or truth, depending upon what my time with them has taught me. Lord, let this serve as a Global shift into the Kingdom reign upon earth. Let us all take stock of what we really value, let it not be in the tangible! Let us all appreciate every moment of every blessing we are bestowed with. Help us to recognize and interact with everyone in full knowledge that we are all connected. We all fall short, we all need God we all ought to JUST PRAY FOR a better today and a better tomorrow.
LORD, let us commence with STRENGTH AND POWERFUL PRAYERS of PEACE AND SUPPORT for those families, friends and responders affected by this HORRIBLE Tragedy! We are all collectively affected BUT LORD, THESE ones specifically, place them in a divine state of protection, mentally, physically and spiritually. Lord, we lift them up to YOU for ONLY YOU could possible sustain the hearts and minds of us fragile human beings in the face of such atrocities. We petition YOU for the assistance that only You can provide. Help us all Lord, to reach out and make a difference in any way that we can. Prayers are so powerful Lord, if only more would just do that. May we all find ourselves turning and returning to YOUR LOVING ARMS. In Jesus Precious Name AMEN!
Some people are responding by doing 20 acts of Random Kindness (I kinda like that one) and instead of turning out Christmas lights (which I have heard that some have because they feel guilty celebrating)...we need to respond in the opposite way...we NEED TO CELEBRATE EVEN MORE, THAT IS WHAT THOSE CHILDREN WOULD HAVE WANTED & FOR THEIR CHRISTMAS THIS YEAR, THEIR JOY IS COMPLETE. In the ARMS of JESUS!
Below is a collection of stories, pictures and encouraging words from all over. May we all find a way to process this grief, honour their memories and heal from this great tragedy.

Twas' 11 days before Christmas, around 9:38
when 20 beautiful children stormed through heaven's gate.
their smiles were contagious, their laughter filled the air.
they could hardly believe all the beauty they saw there.
they were filled with such joy, they didn't know what to say.
they remembered nothing of what had happened earlier that day.
"where are we?" asked a little girl, as quiet as a mouse.
"this is heaven." declared a small boy. "we're spending Christmas at God's house."
when what to their wondering eyes did appear,
but Jesus, their savior, the children gathered near.
He looked at them and smiled, and they smiled just the same.
then He opened His arms and He called them by name.
and in that moment was joy, that only heaven can bring
those children all flew into the arms of their King
and as they lingered in the warmth of His embrace,
one small girl turned and looked at Jesus' face.
and as if He could read all the questions she had
He gently whispered to her, "I'll take care of mom and dad."
then He looked down on earth, the world far below
He saw all of the hurt, the sorrow, and woe
then He closed His eyes and He outstretched His hand,
"Let My power and presence re-enter this land!"
"may this country be delivered from the hands of fools"
"I'm taking back my nation. I'm taking back my schools!"
then He and the children stood up without a sound.
"come now my children, let me show you around."
excitement filled the space, some skipped and some ran.
all displaying enthusiasm that only a small child can.
and i heard Him proclaim as He walked out of sight,
"in the midst of this darkness, I AM STILL THE LIGHT."
