We can get angered so easily...yet we expect God to be long suffering? If truth be known there are many things that offend God, yet he provides all that we require, all the time, with open arms and little thanks. We fight with each other as well as with Him, we resist Him, blame & curse Him or just ignore Him entirely. Others excel at their sin...and think that an occasional good deed is some sort of offering... it is like getting flowers from the person that stabbed you in the back; just doesnt cut it (no punn intended)
Isaiah 64:66But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
1 John 2:15-16 " Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions—is not from the Father but is from the world."
BUT...
To the child that seeks him, that accepts reproof, that strives to obey, endeavors to learn, seeks God's will; surrendering their time, their hearts and their earthly gain to the usage of God, that is the one whom God approves and calls the apple of his eye!
For thus said the Lord of hosts, after his glory sent me to the nations who plundered you, for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye: Zechariah 2:8
PROVERBS 7:2 Keep my commandments and live; keep my teaching as the apple of your eye;
PROVERBS 15:9 The way of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, but he loves him who pursues righteousness.
Go forth with Love in your heart. Not everyone is going to Love you back, not everyone is going to embrace your message....but for the one that needs to hear the correct and truthful word ...it's a seed planted toward everlasting life!
Even when you have done all of this, you might encounter a wolf; fear not though...for they lurk about and seek to destroy. Know this; God sees all and there is nothing that gets by without his observance. He will fight our battles for us, we are instructed to be meek not weak. We do not lay down and die, it is ok to have righteous anger but sin not! It is acceptable to speak truth, speak up and speak out, to risk being persecuted, resisted against, mocked and blamed. They will accuse, they will deflect and they will try to pin their evil deeds on you BUT it will not stick becuase it can not take root. Like water and oil, their sludge will rise to the surface where it is visible.
(Job 34:21-22)"For God watches the deeds of all mankind. He sees them all. No darkness is thick enough to hide evil men from his eyes."
Joshua 23:1010 One man of you shall chase a thousand, for the LORD your God is He who fights for you, as He promised you.
Deu 1:30 The LORD your God, who is going before you, will fight for you, as he did for you in Egypt, before your very eyes,
Exo 14:14 The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still
Luke 1:28 The angel went to her and said, "Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you."
Heavenly Father, as we seek to do your will and carry out your word. There are those who's agendas are against us. They seek to undermine and to negate the effectiveness of Christ; they plot and they groan amongst themselves. Woe to the wicked ones who assist the devil knowingly or unknowigly. Cause them to tremble Lord as You alone can save or smite the soul. The ravenous wolves seek to destroy and perceive your children as easy prey becuase they know their is no corruption being brewed in our hearts, they think they have an advantage. Lord be our eyes and ears; so direct our steps and the outcome of things that the advantage remains ours as We serve a Living God, full of dominion and power. Open the eyes of those transfixed on the lies of the evil one so that they may discover the wayward and forsake that way. Convict them in their hearts as you set a table for us in their presence and let the sights sounds and smells rise to the heavens in an attempt to awaken them. If there is no repentance in them Lord, it is your matter to deal with; for we pray with all our hearts that even they might turn and return to You. We ask this in the name of Yeshua Jesus Our Mighty Lord, Christ Our Savior AMEN
