I have learned that the things that I observe are always in direct correlation to what God is leading me to, in topic of study! True to form, as my week unfolded and I spent a fair amount of time travelling through different states, a constant occurrence was the observation that many people do not know how to merge or yield. It is understandable, as certain time frames produce rush hour traffic, people in a rush, hastily trying to get where they are going. In general, folks these days are inundated with multiple distractions, it's a miracle they can navigate at all.
In life, we have a Good Father, who's viewpoint offers us an advantage that supersedes any smart car, back up cam or GPS we could ever hope to lay hold of. Many of life’s hardships are converted by God as a means to get our attention or reroute us in His direction. Praise God for speed bumps, stops and delays. Not because He is a troublemaker but because he is a 'trouble taker'! Guaranteed, whatever is sent to harm you, God is right there ready to deflect and protect!
If we would just yield to Him, allow Him to nudge and redirect us. He is able, capable and desirous of our faith, trust and willingness to allow Him to go before us, instead of jockeying alongside of Him for our own way!
It is not easy sometimes, as we have all heard the expression, "God helps those who help themselves". A certain amount of common sense must apply to the spirit. When God is our priority and we rely on Him in all things,, we can be 100% sure that no matter what happens, it is part of the plan. You can't go wrong by placing all trust, hope and petitions upon Him.
Think of your life as vehicle, think of God as the air traffic controller and all you need do is consult and adjust your actions, reactions and expectations. Things may not always unfold precisely as we have mapped them out to BUT the Master planner is at work for us, behind the scenes making sure our destination is secure.
Have a very blessed week.
Job 22:21 Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time,
Matthew 6:9-10
"Pray, then, in this way: 'Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 'Your kingdom come Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.
