Beauty for Ashes & Thorns before Petals 1-12-15

Imagine the conversation (in nature during creation)....the rose says, "You are going to cover me in what... and that's going to make me stronger, sweeter, more lovely?!"...............LOL

and such,.... grief and struggle are to the soul that which manure is to the rose! ~SMZ

I am recently reminded of how God uses everything, even the worst of things that might happen to us, for the overall good, making sure that it produces something of value, so that no experience is a waste.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

The words wandered down my fingertips onto the keyboard before me, as a typed a response to a friend. I knew, as it was being parlayed out, that it was the unifying knot to so many loose ends. We all get a glimpse of this, in the spirit and the natural, from time to time. Like the story of the Phoenix, that rises from the ashes. All of life is about advancement, progress, transformation even from the ashes of what to some would seem to be desolation.

Our christian walk...day in and day out, the life we have led up to that point and the events that transpire from that point of perspective forward, are all part and parcel of this. God knew, before we were born that we would be His 1 Peter 2:9, our names written in the Lambs book.Ephesians 1:11 Every action, mistake and blunder is appropriately worked to align you with a divinely appointed opportunity to confront your need for salvation. Once that was met, it led to more opportunities to surrender, to yield to His molding, all of which is His work, His initiation, His Mercy & Love. It, for sure,  is our Blessing of Blessings, to which is futile to ignore and unprofitable to attempt. Romans 11:29 for God's gifts and his call are irrevocable.

1 Peter 2:9
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Ephesians 1:11
In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

Recognize this, when you find yourself in that position, where you feel as if manure has been heaped upon you. This is your opportunity to learn, to grow, to rise more beautifully, stronger and with a benefit that most other flowers aren't afforded. It's that resilience, yielded by the process, that will sustain you for a time you may not have encountered yet! If you examine a rose, the thorns grow before the bud does, this is certainly Fathers design of protection for that tender bud & flower perched above.  The Lord tends to and prunes His precious flowers. S0, Be Still (*Psalm 46:10) and Rise Above (*Psalm 18:48)!

*Psalm 46;10
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

*Psalm 18:48
He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
