Psa 51:6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in thehidden [part] thou shalt make me to know wisdom
Signals, the purpose and the reason ….
So, if we look at all the many parts of the body make up a person, each part is valuable & necessary, if part becomes compromised, you are not your arm or your hand but If part becomes compromised you will suffer in some capacity. There are many who are so compromised emotionally & spiritually but yet they perceive themselves as whole. It's not until we come to the Lord that we really get an accurate view of ourselves. We are not independent from God, the source of all, not for one second. It’s just us who are slow to that uptake.
Sure, it's easy to forget, after the umbilical chord is severed, we begin a journey of self discovery, struggle, growth, set backs, conquering odds, yielding to some conditions and remaining resistant to others. The process for some is life long, where as others find out rather quickly; we are not invincible, untouchable or unaffected by tragedy. We all suffer from let downs, set backs & disappointments. In the struggle & endeavor to discover self, many loose themselves and instead take up odd behaviors, strange beliefs and charisma's not of their own. Often times, this is an emotional response to an event that shaped them in some unfortunate way, a hurtful word by someone they looked up to which becomes the "obsessive compulsive behavior" adopted & apparent years later. An overcompensation for a frustration never understood, verbalized, worked out. Bullies at school, friends, siblings & then later in life, it carries into the workplace & social scenes. So many are pre-programmed, running on autopilot for most of their life; 'do this, have that, look like this, go here, be seen there and on it goes!'
The body has aches & pains in order to get our attention; it's a natural part of the body's warning mechanism, it's to protect the vital functioning of the body and prevent malfunction. Children are naturals at NOT disguising this, whether it be physical or emotional; as we get older we learn to mask and to deceive. It's unhealthy, you have to stop burying it....our emotional and physical body is no different. For total health let Christ look at the broken parts, recognizing the pains of the spirit is the beginning of transformation. If you allow yourself to be defined by the world, beware! Without God's design and direction upon our life we are simply corrupt and all the less, unaware!
This scripture (referenced above) holds a lot of information for us, the beginning of wisdom is fear of the Lord. We know that God has a plan and purpose for us & we can't step into that Divine design until we are ready to take a good hard look at ourselves we can not do that until we submit to the LORD!
So, I invite you to come to the website, the scripture I mentioned is listed there and a few others, which should provoke you to open up your bible and allow God to start speaking to your spirit, pointing out the areas where maybe you need some help. This is all in an effort to get you to a point where you are healthy and vital, feeling good. The Lord wants us to be useful tools for Him, we can not begin to do that if we are still suffering with the things that are layed on us from the world; "You're not good enough or this or that", we have to define ourselves based on what God designs and His definition. Its from Gods platform that you will find total health and total happiness.

2 Timothy 2:20-22
But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. 21 Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. 22 Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
