Today I am going to share something with you, a testimony....
A friend introduced me to this man he knew, after telling me how incredible this man is, naturally, I thought to myself...you don't find too many people with character traits such as these!...Immediately, when we were introduced, there was an instant connection! Trying to hide what I was feeling or thinking seemed futile. We spent hours upon hours together! (mostly me trying to fully understand all this person is about)
Hours became days, days became years & one day, something bad happened to me! When I recovered, I slowly stopped confiding in him, gradually, little by little, I kept him at the perimeter of my life. Eventually, I found myself so far away from what He & I discussed; all the plans made, the happy & prosperous life we were headed for. Finally, one day something much worse happened to me. So world altering to me, that I realized the one person I could trust, the only one who could help, the only one who TRULY cared, was pushed aside.
I decided that very moment, that very day, in the enemies kitchen, I needed this man back in my life as I walked away from the one I was living in. It was a serious struggle to remove all the barriers between us. Patience is definitely this man's strong suit. He observed & listened, spoke his mind, showing me the error of my ways, so lovingly, I could see the hurt I had caused, for Him & for Me, my heart broke for someone else, for once!
Once again, discussions about what would be best for the relationship & what would destroy it, were a topic. I knew there would be many things I'd have to compromise on ( but I knew they didn't matter in the long run) Instead of hurting me back, I was treated like a Princess, I was told how beautiful I am, how treasured, ...I was given all the time & attention I needed to feel safe. I was told secrets & shown things He had never shown another! He's made Investments in me, as a person ...& being around Him has made me a better one!
He pledged His Unending , Undying love for me,... you see, He asked me to be his Bride for All Of Gods Eternity!
I said "Yes"!
His Name is JESUS!
That is my testimony and I wrote it like that to embrace the idea that a relationship with God is simply that, a real relationship, both give and take. There is so much wrapped up in that one word relationship. No matter where you are in Life, right now, this minute, as you might be reading this or hearing this via podcast! People get saved in a million different ways. Today is the day, discover what God wants for you and has put in place for you. Its time to surrender to Him and grab hold of His Unfailing promises!
God is the God of second chances, many chances and He is your ONLY chance at Salvation through Jesus Christ, His Holy Son!
God wants full custody, not weekend visits!
Allow me to walk you through the sinner's prayer....
"Heavenly Father, I come to you seeking forgiveness of my Sins. I confess with my mouth & believe with my heart that Jesus is your Son. I believe that he died on the Cross at Calvary that I might be forgiven & that I have Eternal Life in the Kingdom of Heaven. Father, I believe that Jesus rose from the dead & I ask You right now to come in to my life & be my personal Lord and Savior! I repent of my Sins & I will Worship You all the day's of my Life! Your word is truth, I confess with my mouth that You are Lord & I am Cleansed by the Blood of Jesus! In Jesus Name, Amen."
If you truly believe these words, then "Praise the Lord" \o/ You are born again in Christ, into Eternal Salvation & your name will appear in the "Lambs Book of Life!"
Points of Affirmation
1. Do you believe that Jesus died on the Cross for your sins and paid your sin debt in full?
2. Do you believe that Jesus Christ rose from the dead 3 days after the Cross?
3. Do you accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour of your life?
REMEMBER: The enemy will try to convince you that you are not saved, or that you can loose your salvation, thay is not true!
Romans 10:9-13 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, Rom 10:11"Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame." Gal 3:28 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
The First step now is for you to purchase a Bible and begin to read it, so that you can start your relationship with God!
