MONDAY MORNING MESSAGE FOR THE Eternal Body Of Christ 2-13-12

Goooood Morninnnnnnnng...

Oh, How He loves Us!

Twice now, I’ve come across the mentioning of Jesus in His days of Miracle making. Surrounding the events of all of His many Miracles. The predominant theme in all of them is this; in every accounting listed, Jesus was in the middle of or on His way to some other thing when He is interrupted. I heard a sermon recently that sort of touched on this and emphasized that Our Lord is a God on the move, a God of action. Oh Yes, and true that is!

Looking deeper, we can walk away with the suggestion that all of Jesus’ life was an example for us to aspire to. In our own lives, how often do we have an agenda, a set idea of how our day, week or life is supposed to look? As we set out toward our objective, are we not interrupted? A friend who needs encouragement, a favor for a relative, a stranger who clearly needs assistance and you are the only one around!? We need to remember this daily, our service to others is a measure by which shall be measured back to us!

In one sermon I heard, there was mention of the two people, at the same time, seeking Miracles of Jesus. If they hadn’t had faith, patience and persistence, neither one might have received what they needed. As one was forced to wait for Jesus while He healed a woman of her 12 year affliction, (this man could have easily become dissuaded) as he waited upon Jesus, his child had passed away. But nothing, you see, is impossible with Our Lord. This is encouraging because we are shown here How ULTRA important it is to Believe, no matter how bad it looks!

(   Mark 5:21-42V   -  Luke 8:40-56  - Matthew 9:20-26 )

Additionally, in many instances of healing. Jesus addresses the state of the persons Spiritual affliction (knowing it to be the cause) He always instructs them in some manner; “Go thy way and sin no more”, “Thy faith has saved thee” etc. If we can get our soul into subjection to our spirit, that correct alignment mingled with faith in Christ is a winning combination toward a good & healthy life.

Mark 5: 34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

Luke 7:50 And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

His Love for us is just like this! All encompassing, all knowing, ever faithful.  He died for us while we were yet sinners. So that we would know, it is NOT by our own works or worth! He took on possession of us while we were still illegitimate children. He is a Father who knows our needs and has made a place for us in His fold. Seek, chase, receive, resemble & praise Him, Learn to wait on Him. Find rest in His promises without giving up!

Heavenly Father, we Thank You today, for this day and the many blessings contained therein. Abba father, we are seeking You, pursuing You and Your way of life. Nothing more rewarding or enjoyable exists than a right relationship with You. Help us to examine our lives more closely and encourage us to let go of the preconceived conditions that we feel are necessary. Show us that we are in no better position, at any point in time than any other, when it comes to praising You. Remind us that, if You waited for us to be better before saving us, we would most certainly perish in our sins. It is in the act of Love & Mercy that You saved us, Honor and Praise belong to You alone. No matter what our current conditions seem to be! Thank you Lord for always being available and for being the Lover of our Souls!
