There are so many parts to the body, each is valuable, each necessary. You're not your hand or your leg, but these vital parts all work in unison (we perceive ourselves as whole) yet, it's not until we come to the Lord we realize that even our wholeness is broken. We are not independent from God (our source) not for one second. It's easy to forget (survival mode sets in) we begin a journey of self discovery & struggle, growth & set backs; conquering odds, yielding, conditioning, resisting. The ebb and flow of life shows us eventually that we are not invincible. All of life gets a taste of human tragedy, let downs, set backs & disappointment.
Psalm 55:22 Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he
will never let the righteous fall.
Matthew 9:10-13
10And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.11And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners? 12But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. 13But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
In the struggle & endeavor to discover self (many loose themselves) and instead they "take up" behaviors, weird beliefs, traits and charisma's not of their own. Often times it's an emotional response to an event that shaped them in some unfortunate way, a hurtful word by someone they looked up to becomes an "obsessive compulsive behavior" adopted in the person years later. So many are pre-programmed, running on autopilot for most of their life; their internal hard drive is carrying fatal errors and they are all the less unaware! We learn as we get older that the body has it's aches & pains in order to get our attention; it's a natural part of the body's mechanism to get your attention. Warning signs of the soul are much the same.
Psa 51:6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the
hidden [part] thou shalt make me to know wisdom
Children are naturals at being authentic, they have a hard time disguising; as we get older we learn to mask and to deceive. It's unhealthy, stop burying it; you need to look inward, let Christ get to the broken parts. Bring yourselves to the great physician for healing. Jesus wants us to become as whole as possible though him. This means living a full & rewarding Christian life; learning, earning, tithing, marriage, family, fun, praise, study, witness, worship, ....all the aspects of a rich, abundant existence.
Proverbs 16:3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.
Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
A healthy diet in the flesh would consist of all the food groups in order to have balanced healthy approach. The spirit requires similar. God has so eloquently and so often laid it out for us, seek His face, Listen to His word, Obey His commands, bind His word upon your hearts.
Philippians 3:21 who, by the power that enables him to bring everything
under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like
his glorious body.
1 John 2:25And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even
eternal life.
Heavenly Father, You who fashioned us into existence; bring us into the fullness of your courtship. Rebuild us and make our weakness into strength. The ultimate double blessing, as we surrender our wickedness for transformation into righteousness; through the Glory, Honor and Praise of your Holy Son Christ Jesus who conquered eternal death with eternal life. To the Lord our Christ we serve and obey. We come to you in collective agreement, our petition rests upon your mighty promise. Let all the Earth discover the magnificence of your provision and salvation. Not our will Father, but yours, as it is expressed in the Life and word of our Savior Yeshua Christ Jesus. Bring our parts together to rise up, to serve, to live, to look toward the day of your return and to be found in you! Amen!
