Faith tells you to LEAP! 9-29-14

There are over 35 scripture references where God is exhorting us to have COURAGE and CONFIDENCE! I've included them all below! Faith says Leap, whereas fear says linger and meander.

Proverbs 28:1

The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.

God speaks into our Spirit, wishing for us to step out, that action where Faith meets furtherance. Blessings are there for us like low hanging fruit, but we have to REACH as He instructs and grab hold.

You know the Lords promptings, don't you?! It's similar to that feeling you had that caused you to go right instead of left, its that unexplainable gut feeling you had, only to later discover it was accurate. It's that happenstance that puts you in the presence of someone meant for you (time & time again until you finally catch on). It's that parallel of signs and alignment, things that are so unique and personal, that nothing can feign them. That is the thumbprint of God, like an image of Him engraved on your life, or a temporary one appearing to get your attention, letting you know, He is there.

When God calls a man into Ministry, it takes great courage! When God calls a sinner into repentance, it takes great courage! A new job to you, might be a soul unsaved that God needs to reach and You are the one. That woman or man God placed in your path just might be the beginning of a new family that will serve Christ. That thing He placed in your heart to do for someone, might be the saving grace they so desperately need. His promptings can range from simple to grand but they all have that same feel, an instant divine inspiration, with an aftertaste of "why didn't I do that?!" or, "I just knew it was right?!" you get to choose.

Gods timing isnt always set up for when you are READY! Sometimes, it's meant to prepare us. There is a famous quote by a well known Entrepreneur (Richard Branson, I believe) which goes something like this, "If you're offered an amazing opportunity and not sure if you can accomplish it, say yes and figure out how to do it later" Gods promptings are always timely, you have a choice to react or retract! Which one do you think pleases God more?!

Listen to Him (john 10:27), try the spirits (1John 4;1) and leap when He tells you (Philippians 4:13)!

What if we lived everyday, as if it was the ONLY day?! What if we recognized that today is all we really have?! What if we did this everyday?!

There is simply No other truth Truer than this; "This is the Day that the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be Glad in it!"....Do you know how to do that?....Have you done that?! Do you want to live your life this way! I do! I think I will! ...and right there is 99% of that equation, acknowledging and choosing. If God gives me another day, I will choose to live it as He says we ought.

Why is this concept so hard to grasp? Because we are all brainwashed by the constant process of ahead and behind, watching the clock, setting the alarm, jotting things down on a calendar, looking back at pictures we snapped yesterday, last year, even photos from those who are long since passed! We have information available at an instant, instant food, instant messages and instant inspirations. We have appointments and schedules, every distraction known to man. Day in and day out, we lay our heads upon our pillows and fully expect to wake up with a new day, with tasks, desires, needs and wants all fighting for their attention!

As Christians, and believers, there is a PEACE that surpasses all understanding. If we but step into it and cultivate it. When the imbalances of this world seem too hard to navigate, overwhelming and things do not SEEM to be in alignment, it's truly the signature of the enemy, the Prince of the air at work. God's timing is always perfect but the enemy would have you think, you're sunk, its over, its never going to work, you missed your chance, and on and on he lies!

Truth is, You were designed by God, knowing every challenge you would face, every mistake you would make and every struggle along the way! Even the very rift in your path right now is somehow being reworked to your benefit. That's the Promise the Almighty makes to us. Not everything can or will be supernaturally smoothed out BUT it will serve toward the ultimate smoothing. If for some reason the bad thing has to happen, it will be in order to facilitate the good thing coming! That's Gods divine plan over those who LOVE & serve him!

Matthew 6:34

Better with than without! 9-15-14

It's funny how the topic for the week just sort of shows up. It's been kind of prevalent in my experience this week, as I've heard of more than a few couples, announcing separation, divorce, marital issues, etc. Who's trying to get out of a relationship and then there is the flip-side, those seeking to find a mate, seeking commitment and marriage.

It causes you to wonder if people really know what they want and if they do, is what they want healthy, in alignment with God? Who else stands to be affected by the choices they make. If we base our choices on the worlds standards, there is little hope for true intimacy, commitment, respect or longevity. The world's standards seem to fluctuate, seem to focus on one person being self serving....Jerry McGuire, "You complete me"....Me, me , ME!!! That does not a marriage make! No wonder discord and divorce is so high. The Bible says a house divided can not stand!

My prayer is for those who are on the fence about the person they married, what their future holds and where they will wind up; is that God leads them, hopefully here, to watch these two movies and then to reconsider their standing. The one common denominator in most any problem is the person experiencing them, first and foremost, if one never gets a handle on their own misgivings one will never be able to expect kindness, patience and tolerance in return. It must be cultivated within bearing fruit to be picked of the vine, only then will the plant yield more to have the harvester return. You cant give what you don't possess and you can not possess what you are not willing to give.

Marriage is about two lives, two souls, two sets of positive attributes that will compliments each other and two sets of challenging attributes that will cause each other to grow. Where one falls short the other will need to compensate. When they are grafted together (after all that's what marriage does) the two shall become one. Even if the two decide to break that union, part of them remains connected, whether they accept it or not. That's why divorce is so painful and detrimental.

Just Come Lord, Just COME!

It's common to receive an invitation, whether to a party or an event, both verbally & formally. It's natural to feel special, hopeful, anticipation rises; either from excitement or the realization that your schedule is already so jam packed. Sometimes, we are excited about what to wear or bring, who will be there, and what kind of experiences are to be had at the event.

There is an eminent Event coming up. It is the Grandest of Grand and by special Invitation Only! If you are scheduled to be in attendance, YOU REALLY HAVE MADE IT! Fortunate is the one that will be amongst the guests to this Event! It's the Rapture, preparations have been in the works for all of eternity, and now for the unveiling, news of it has been around for some 2000+ years. Every detail of this event has been planned out and it shall unfold gloriously. Notice has been given, invitations are out and the "Save the Date" is this open ended call to Readiness! It's going to be magnificent, so much so that it can not be pinned down nor penned down. Its under cloak of Divine timing to protect the integrity of it.

Many times, I hear others say, "Oh, I'm not ready" or, "but there are still those in my circle who remain unsaved"! We need to understand ONE very important, critical,  hinge pinning fact here:
Readiness, must come in the form of..."at any time that He sees fit to return, He will make you ready and those others who would accept Him, because He is the one that is faithful to complete you", as scripture says, "In the twinkling of an eye, you will be changed" (1 Corinthians 15:52) He also promises us that Our whole households shall be saved! He is the one who does the saving, He is the one that must prepare their hearts, He is the one that can do this, even if its at the very last second of Time ,that He instituted for Men on our behalf.

If you are holding onto anything in this world, it will let you down! It's a mirage, a deception, it is temporal, temporary & corporal, it wont last, it decays, it comes to naught and isn't truly satisfying in every capacity, for any duration of time. You must come to the knowledge that the world to come Offers us everything that this world can not. Without evil and without end; an eternity of Joy, Love & Peace with our God & Savior. No more sickness, no more death, no more pain! It's a beautiful LIFE, its a continuation of this one on the other side of Eternity.

His word says that we can hasten His return. We do this by remaining ready, by asking and praying for His return and by spreading the news of the Gospel to every part of this earth! Prophecy is being fulfilled at record rates, we are so very close. Be ready, get ready, stay ready! That is my prayer for YOU, because I LOVE YOU! I want everyone that I know to join me!

to really know You, is all we need to learn

A Labor of Love 9-1-14

The first Labor Day holiday was celebrated on Tuesday, September 5, 1882, in New York City

In general, when we labor over something we expect a result, we expect our efforts to not be in vain. This holiday is in observance of the workforce but have you considered the workforce of the Lord, all those who selflessly give of their time and resources to Serve the Kingdom, sharing and showing the Light of Gods love; ready at an instant to pray for others.

As you take this day to relax and enjoy the fruits of your labor, say a special prayer of thanks to those in your life who do what they do regardless of recognition or pay. Recognize the contributions and the service from those who are committed, who answer to the Lord.

To all my fellow coworkers in Christ, I too, am so thankful for you and your influences, your gifts, prayers and mission which is so inspiring! We all have to remember that whether or not we get to see the result, WE MUST KNOW AND TRUST that this labor is the MOST important work we are called to do and certainly does not go in vain! One fine day, when we arrive in Heaven we will learn of all those whom we ministered to from afar, all those who observed because we were obedient! This is a reward that is best served on the other side of eternity and for the Glory of God I shall gladly continue to share, shine and show His magnificent Love to all!

We who know Him and serve Him recognize it was HIS ultimate labor which saved & saves, His conquering of death and sin, His sacrifice that equips and empowers us, we know that there is nothing we can do on our own to earn salvation, but it is from the deepest depths of gratitude and love that we set out to please Him, doing as He has instructed us! We are told in directly in scripture,
 Matthew 28:19

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
