9/30/13 Insight over Incite

Todays Topic and verse,

Insight over incite

Matthew 5:23-24

23 So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

Right here we see that the Word, compelling us toward a spirit of reconciliation, a spirit of release/surrender, a spirit of faith, should we have to reinforce our intentions with mirrored actions, supplication and attention.

Reconciliation doesn’t always mean assuming responsibility over something. Sometimes, it is just in recognizing that people are flawed. Hate the sin, Not the sinner! A good deed offered for those whom we have favor with is easy. A good deed, whether that be tolerance, prayer, forgiveness or the gift of space, is just as important toward those with whom we might have been slighted by. Reconciliation is also taking into account, accounting for, and acknowledging the gravity of a loss, infraction or discrepancy. How many times in life has someone ‘Taken’ from you or gotten away with it? When was the last time you prayed for somebody who really did you dirty?!

Gifts of offering and gifts in general bring to mind the ‘rewarding’ or ‘acknowledgement’ of something, someone or some achievement. Our lesson in the above scripture is that nothing is more pleasing to our Heavenly Father than that righteousness that goes before us, which is present purely by the gift of the Holy Spirit in the form of Grace! It is gracious for the person bringing gifts to first attend to obtaining right standing with God as it pertains to how well we give thought to our fellow man. By that I mean, the guy who cut you off on the road, the lady that looked at you crossly, the longtime friend that lost sight of loyalty, the easily persuaded, misguided, selfish, gossiping, medalsome, self seeking, full of themselves, mightier and more deserving than thou types. Its easy to give thought to those who are pleasing, what gifts of thought do we offer those who have harmed us or exhibit these behaviors?

What if you yourself at any juncture in life may have been perceived as this by another, whether correct or incorrect, would it not be an advantage and behoove you to pray for those whom might have been hurt by something you caused? Likewise, we are to pray for those who have hurt us. We are to pray that God would bless them enough to acknowledge what they are responsible for. It also releases you from the ring where punches are thrown, depositing you into the best possible attitude, to the holding pattern, where restitution and recompense gets handed over to the magistrate, (meaning higher authorities, whether that be of God, of man or oof both).

Love is the ONLY force capable of transforming an enemy or a foe into a friend!

9/23/13 Get straight with God

Let's get one thing straight, you need to get straight with the Lord, by straightly, Getting with the Lord, before you get TO the Lord. The time and place to get it straight with God, is here and now! The moment of death or thereafter, is not the time to rectify oneself with the Almighty, now is the time!

Getting straight with God consists of two things, repentance and renunciation.

Repentance: Confessing ones involvement with any and all Sins

Renunciation: Declaring what is correct over what is false.

*Mainting ths rightful relationship with the Lord, simply means, submitting to constant God/self evaluation, seeking Gods wisdom, direction and guidance while pursuing His suggestions, inclinations and prescribed way of life.

Walking and living in that truth, assures us, whatever may occur, our place is reserved. How can ANY OTHER thing in ones life , be aligned with Health, Propserity & Success, unless?

Those who are straight with God, are never complete, finished,or left undone. The believer is an ever evolving, growing, changing, (cut down, regrown, pruned but firmly rooted) student of His word. The number of days are known by the Almighty and no other! The guarantee is that He is faithful to complete us! Phillipians 4:16

Its like that old axiom, you cant get a job without the experence. But you cant get experience without getting the job! It's probably the single most important thing you can do for yourself as well as for another. Its the one time in a persons life, when directions can lead to, "eternally lost" or "eternally found"!

You're job is Get on that straight path and Stay on it, even if you have to walk it alone, its the only one that leads home!

Turn Or Burn...

Luke 13:3b "But unless you repent, you too will all perish." [This is often termed the "Turn or Burn" passage.

Matthew 4:17 From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near."

Matthew 3:2 "You must change your hearts and minds, for the Kingdom of Heaven has arrived!"

Mark 6:12 ) So they went out and preached that people should turn away from their sins.

Acts 2:38 Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."

Matthew 22:31 - 32(31) But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,(32) I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

Philippians 1:21For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

(25) Jesus said unto her [Lazarus’ sister Martha], I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:(26) And whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die.

Monday Morning Message - Sanctuary of Self & Who's there with you? 9/16/13

11:11am/pm pops up on the clock all of the time, it reminds me of the Lord ,telling us, reminding us, that we are never alone, I think of the set of foot prints in the sand, running in tandem and I think of parallels. Similarly,kids these days are so over exposed to technology that they see these two symbols and think, Oh that means PAUSE (you know those two marks that resemble and equal sign turned on its head?!) they learn to play videos before they even learn to count. Thats relationship language.

When we pause, or remain still we have to learn when its profitable to wiggle and when not. Like untangling a knot in a chain necklace! If you start tugging on it, willy nilly, your apt to make the snag worse. Whereas, if you take a moment to observe, and to find a spot where you can anchor one portion, so as to free up the other, thats where solution is obtained, that point where you can anchor & gain leverage

So this type of stillness, waiting on the Lord is a skill built through obedience, adapting to our Creators dialogue while always verifying its authenticity. Trying the spirits trying the spirits, all ways. Its those little actions of obedience & the resulting congruent byproducts. After a bit you get to notice a pattern, or at the least it develops a space of comfort and familiarity.

Its natural, the feeling of wanting to wrestle, manuever, break free of, loosen the restriction, we feel this when we are being pressed on, by something or someone. Thats when you know its time to pin that object, situation or outcome onto Jesus', He settled all matter on that cross for the saved as well as the unsaved! He is familiar with our language of anguish, His own creations, His own language, which He is Co Author and facilitator thereof.

How can we know the method and place of communication within our worlds when chaos tries to distort our hearing? Also, be mindful, that the emotion of FEAR attempts to send visions of terrible context to the screen of your mind, which includes images you look at in everyday life as well as images you produce from FEAR BASED, ANGER BASED or SIN BASED thinking.

Just as God speaks to us in this language very personal between you and He, it is done so in the most comfortable and comforting way. God is very polite & unobtrusive , like a parent would present you with options allowing one to expand and stretch forth into potential where reward meets edification.

Years ago, I was asked by my College Professor of Advanced Reading & Writing; whats the farthest I was able to reduce a story? Which is an interesting exercise, if you've ever attempted to do it? Greater impact is made when a concept can be boiled down to a word or two, or a phrase, and those are built upon with others until you have words bursting at the seems with meaning by the previous, stuffed with relation. Thats the type of decor that is present there, in that private space where just you and God walk.

So, ultimately this place, you'll have to find yours on your own. Its not hard though, You already know where it is, you visit there everyday, when you are deep in thought, when you are driving, showering, or almost asleep. Thats the place where God visits, deposits visual, visible, audible, auditory, thought based, sensation based, spirit based thoughts and memorabilia from your past answered prayers, confirmations of acknowedgement and trophies of victories in Christ already won!

Take a good inventory of this place, be a good caretaker!

Who do you think you are? versus Who do you know yourself to be!

Who I think I am and who I know myself to be is very vastly different from what is thought, versus what is known!

Who I think I am is subject to change, based on influences which have variables, any mindset fixed on that default is subject to periodic mishaps. So, I've learned not to define myself by my own thoughts or emotions, for the fact that these senses are not always rational. Situations & circumstances can color and or distort reality from time to time. The plans of the wicked might sew in a vine BUT it is always discovered & uprooted, never allowed to populate that garden of truth!

If I always listened to myself about me, I might never have learned from a mistake, forgiven a transgression or grown out of adversity. I might also never have learned to staunchly face injustice square in the face, draw the red line and occupy my God given space.

I know who I am through the Holy Word of God, He who spoke the world into existence, who knew me as I was formed in the womb, has spoken His mandates over me. Imparting the character of the impeccable, a heart for the things of Him, hands ready and busy at His work, a warrior who fearlessly stands against the enemy. A woman, a pearl of priceless value who sets the bar very high while maintaining a very low threshold for nonsense. Kindness and integrity walk twain in my spirit. Fierce opposition and the sword of righteousness have an outlet through my words. I am a child of the KING, His royal Princess, daughter of the Most High...the center of His eye is upon me. Anointed, appointed, transformed and equipped. Refined, guarded and galvanized to withstand & to conquer! Unshakeable! Committed, loyal and in Love with the lover of my soul!

Allow God to define you, rule number one is Gods defining is not some open to interpretation fantastical dilution it's wholly sound, benevolent and fruit bearing. Listen, if there's no one around to be your chearing squad, you're just gonna have to do this for yourself, so lets replace Satans lies & the worlds misguided dialogue and start speaking things like this over ourselves! Here are a few examples....

I am who He says I am, I become ALL of this when I let go of everything that I think myself to be! When I surrender myself to Jesus It is through that daily sacrifice where permission is obtained, It comes with a price but the dividends are eternal!

I pray for any who wrongfully come against all of that. Lord, please bless my adversaries that they would be equipped to be a blessing and Not grow weary in doing Good, but rather choose that direction. As, I pray for myself, Lord Bless me to be that blessing unto others. Let not the plans of thine enemies come up against me. He that contends with me, ...also contends with thee!

Lord, I also pray for those who seek Faith, lead them and reveal to them Your ultimate and singular authority to SAVE & Your omniscient ability to SERVE. Let every truth of You be so crystal clear that there is nothing able to camouflage or imposter it. Open the eyes of individuals that interpersonal bias has no foothold, Your Holy word is truth and all things either line up with it or they do not.

The Monday Message 9/2/13 Prophecies unfolding

BREAKING… Fukushima Crisis Escalates Tons of Radioactive Waste Released into the Pacific Causes Ocean to Boil…

"The government released a public statement calling for the immediate evacuation of residents within a 50 miles radius of the facility claiming the leaked material has caused the ocean to boil for several hundred yards offshore from the crippled plant.

This incident which is being called the “Fukushima Plume of Death” is rapidly bearing down on Hawaii. It’s estimated once Hawaii is hit California will be hit about 90 minutes after.

The effects of the nuclear plume are either unknown or being kept from the public. Neither the Japanese or American government has commented on what threat the plume may pose. Right now its anyone’s guess."

Then we have the recent events unfolding in Syria / Damascus…and what does the Word of God say about that?

Isa 17:1 Here is a message about Damascus: “Look, Damascus is no longer a city, it is a heap of ruins!

Jer 51:37 Babylon will become a heap of ruins. Jackals will make their home there. It will become an object of horror and of hissing scorn, a place where no one lives.

Isa 25:2 Indeed, you have made the city into a heap of rubble, the fortified town into a heap of ruins; the fortress of foreigners is no longer a city, it will never be rebuilt.

"For the time is coming when people will not endure sound and wholesome instruction, but having ears itching for something pleasing and gratifying, they will gather to themselves one teacher after another to a considerable number, chosen to satisfy their own liking and to foster the errors they hold, and will turn aside from hearing the truth, and wander off into myths and man-made fictions." 2 Timothy 4:3-4

So what do we do with this information, with these emerging scares, fears ad tragedies?///

We need to be able to distinguish between that which can be handled with prayer and that which can not. Afterall we can not undue prophecies that Must occur, but we can learn how to navigate our emotions, trust and sense of security! The Christians security is not in this world BUT in the Lord!

Overall, we are instructed to stay alert, to delve into the word of God and to Trust that God (who knows all these things) has His hands upon us, His family, His bride and His church.

Don’t be slack in seeking the Lord for wisdom, especially now. If you don’t have a close intimate relationship with God there is still time! Get into the word, get yourself a Bible and start allowing God to speak to you in Your life!
