Reasons to Tweet

At its heart, Twitter is like attending a cocktail party – albeit one on the global scale with a seemingly endless capacity for attendees. However, most people who haven’t engaged with the medium are at a loss for why Twitter matters. I can’t tell you how many contacts – ranging from hip 20-somethings to Baby Boomers and beyond – have remarked “I don’t ‘get’ Twitter.” If you find yourself trying to explain the benefits of Twitter to Twitterphobes, you may want to explain the reasons why tweeting is worthwhile. Here are a few talking points for starters:

• Direct communication – Back in the day, individuals did business with other individuals. They shopped in the town where they lived, and they personally knew the shopkeepers. As business has become global, we’ve gotten away from that personal touch. Twitter, however, opens the door for businesses and consumers to interact directly again. One survey showed that customers choose Twitter as the medium for interacting with customers specifically because they receive answers and are treated like individuals.
• Personality – Twitter presents a great opportunity for creating awareness about your brand, product, or service. The less formal nature of Twitter lends itself to showing off a company’s personality through trivia and factoids, contests, and other messages that bring a face and personality to the brand.
• Cross-promotion – Through Twitter, you can link to any online item, from industry news and company-specific news to YouTube videos and product reviews. It’s a wonderful way to gather a myriad of information into one place and share it with your self-selected audience.
• Gathering information – Not only is Twitter an effective means of communicating to your audience and telling your story – it’s also a great way to gather information through a variety of sources. You can build lists that group people you’re following into one feed based on your labeling. You can also search all of Twitter via search.twitter.com to find out what people are saying about your company or competitors. Hashtags are a quick and easy way to see what people are saying about a specific topic or trend.

Of course, the most important takeaway to leave with Twitter newbies is to not get sidetracked by the medium. Yes, Twitter is a hip social media tool, but it’s merely that – a tool. Tools are merely instruments that are specialized to aid in the accomplishment of a task or goal, and in this case, that task is communicating effectively. By making the message the focus – not the method – you’ll be able to jump into the Twitter fray in a meaningful way.

The Monday Morning Message 7/29/13 The Lords Prayer

 


I find myself in prayer almost all of the time. Sometimes I meditate upon the word of the our Father and I can speak from personal experience on this, its effective. Jesus himself, as King over the Kingdom of Heaven instructs us to pray AFTER THIS MANNER...not in the sense like a recipe, or lyrcis that you recite over and over, Nay...that would be vain jangling. BUT rather, He helps lead us through, establishing where true Deity and Authority rests and helps to support our trust and faith in appealing to that relational bond.

Matthew 6:9-14
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
 14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

Now, let's break it down and really get a fuller understanding .....

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Here, the word hallowed means Sanctified, the word itself is only used 22 times in the bible, but this particular meaning and the root of the word traced back to the Greek lexicon is specific to the Lords prayer. God's will is not some obscure thing, the entire word of God gives us a blueprint of what He expects.

Philippians 2:13for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.

Romans 12:2And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
 

 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 

The Lord doesn't need any help in establishing His Authority or dominion but Here He reminds us where our help comes from. The Kingdom of God is ruled over by Jesus Christ, our King, whom he sent to Earth and who ascended back to Heaven. Gods will is to offer Salvation to all of Creation, which He did and still does. 

Luke 10:9 and heal those in it who are sick, and say to them, 'The kingdom of God has come near to you.'

11 Give us this day our daily bread. 

God created everything and provided us a self sustaining environment. The earth is populated with all we need to survive. As a mater of fact, we all partake in Gods rich bounty of provision whether we are deserving or not.

Matthew 5:45 that ye may be the children of your Father who is in Heaven. For He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Genesis 1:11-12
11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

          Phillipians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by 

          Christ Jesus.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 

    Here, many people read this as an ultimatum but really Jesus is making a comparison. As we have the capacity to forgive HOW MUCH MORE SO will God forgive us?! Afterall, He not only provided a way BUT He effectually put himself on the alter of sacrifice to ensure it. Obviously there are enough other passages that explain to us that we ought to forgive others, after all, the unforgiveness will destroy the holder there of, NOT the perpetrator.

Luke 17 : 3 - Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

The Lord is certainly not assessing any responsibility for causing us to go awry, we have this capacity all on our own. Its a statement of fact, that He would not, could not and will not. 

James 1:13-15 When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. 15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

 14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

Here again, we see the Lord, encouraging us in that forgiveness department. Reminding us, that we are in a position of Grace through God's Mercy. It was totally His work on that Cross that funded our Salvation! Isn't God like a parent to us in this sense. What parent hasnt had the conversation with their child to share or be nice to others, reminding them that they themselves would not like being treated in such a way! God sees our weakness' and knows full well, we are quick to cry out when stepped on and slow to acknowledge others whom we might have hurt.

I truly hope this EYE Opening look at the Lords prayer renews in you a sense of Supreme Confidence in your prayer time.

The Monday Morning Message 7/15/13 "Immortality over Immorality- Jesus IS the Only way!"

"Immortality over Immorality- Jesus IS the Only way!" ...SMZ

JESUS ...the ONLY WAY to HEAVEN! If you say nothing else to friends and family THIS alone is ULTRA IMPORTANT!



Not to be assumed that they know, we must stand staunch and firm in our agenda for the Kingdom of God, our initiative is to drive THIS Point home! All things fall into place when this very succinct fact is placed at the forefront of receiving salvation or administering the suggestion of it. Remember, God does the saving, we just pass out the MEMO!


There is One way to Heaven ...after all, we want to be there amongst the ones!


There are some who argue vehemently that God would not provide only one way to heaven. We are guilty of sin, rebellion and rejection of HIM. in His mercy, through His ONLY SON  He gives us the way of escape by sending a part  of HIMSELF (which we are also made in this image) through His Holy Son to die for our sins. Regardless of opinion this is truth. ACTS 4:12

Acts 4:1212 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

There is ONLY one way to HEAVEN and None other! Not by popularity  but by the Hierarchy of eligibility!  Jesus who created all things,  Colossians 1:16-17

Colossians 1:16-1716 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

Jesus, He who created us also LOVES US & devised a way for us to be redeemed! Fully God & fully human  enough to satisfy the penalty of our sin & fully capable as God to defeat death through His divinity! He rose again, into eternal life! Jesus as God brought His eternal body & human Body through every earthly and ethereal dimension in & through that resurrection!

The Monday Morning Message 7/8/13 Trinity is Evident

The bible itself gives us enough evidence of the trinity. Never mind that the Bible doesn’t actually say the word. After all, what good is an empty word without its meaning, definition or example?

The bible doesn’t say the word “Rapture” either but we know enough from what we have read, that inevitable event will take place.

We do not hear the word H2o anywhere in the Bible either but I can assure you water is spoken of, used, illustrated and present in almost every book.

God is so ultra specific in His references to Jesus and the Holy Ghost, that scripture alone identifies, describes, illuminates and embodies the principle of Trinity.

We must be very careful when we seek to discredit Gods authority. God takes His heritage & His Holy Kinship with Jesus and the Holy Ghost very seriously! If you try to bring something other than the word of God, you will not be met with favourable results from THIS Disciple of Christ, Child of God and Holy Ghost going girl!  To be exact, the Bible says that I am not even to wish such an one God Speed! False doctrine is about as tolerated as a psychotic intruder!

The Holy Bible was written originally in Greek and Hebrew, so for those of you who may not realize it, in actuality, every word we read does not appear in the Bible, rather what we have is a direct translated version. As close as close can be is the King James Version because it was the first translated version from these original two languages. Jesus himself spoke Aramaic, which by the way is spoken in only one small place in the world.

The only place smaller is the heart and mind of the ignorant, unrepentant heart!

John 1:14 and the WORD became flesh and dwelt among us, an we have seen His glory, glory as of the ONLY Son of God, full of grace and truth!

Don’t choke on it now, just swallow it and except it. If it’s a bitter pill it’s a necessary one, if it did you no good, sorry, there is no other REMEDY!

With God you can not believe as you please and remain pleasing in the sight of God! We can not pick and choose what is convenient. Surrender and obedience to Him, is a humbling, the emptying of self serving beliefs. A circumcision of a scarred over heart, that when God touches it, it is immediately enveloped in conviction, that movement of the Holy Spirit. The injection of protection, inoculated with the Holy Ghost!

We must be careful when we segregate the word of God. The Bible says that those who willfully and repeatedly give themselves over to the Gods of their own belief, those that they serve in the flesh, eventually they will have forfeited their chance of repentance and salvation. Their intoxication with untruth will be so great that will be not able to discern up from down, nor good from evil!

I heard a sermon recently, that essentially said, there will be people who wind up in hell not because of their sins ( Don't forget Jesus paid that price in full) but because of their unbelief! Can up Imagine?! I can't! That's a tragedy we are all responsible to help avoid!

Regardless of belief, regardless of opinion, fact is, in the Law of the universe, We were criminals of sin to God, guilty as charged. When Jesus paid that bond, releasing us from the bondage of eternal damnation, we became indebted to Him, whether aware or not! Every human life is Free to choose, LIFE which is Christ, or Not! The Not, is a real destination with Eternal consequences! All of the worldly esteem, power, influence and finesse can not change or reconstruct the realm of perdition!  There is no appeal committee in Hell!

Truth and Honesty are different things and both are subjective by human standards. When authority and wisdom comes from God, we can be sure that Truth is sound and viable! Gods Holy Word, the Bible is a a reliable source of Truth; paramount to the Human race! His word contains all truth! in Gods justice system, those who misappropriate His truths, it would be better that he never existed, essentially! God's business is a serious one and He owns it like a BOSS!
