Stop and smell the roses...

One thing God reminded me of, is the smell that precedes the roses is often not as sweet, LOL

As with all things, there is a season and a reason. Today, my intended schedule got shifted around a bit, which is OK. My usual routine would be writing out what impressions and lessons God has shown to me through the week.

In a way, I am sort of doing that now! Although this is a bit informal. My PC is currently getting a deep scan by antivirus, seems I picked up some malware along the way and it was proliferating my system. I trust in The Lord and He knows how much I need and use this computer, so in am asking The Lord, to walk through that system scan right along with it!  Clean it, restore it and protect it!

As I take inventory of this week, I am thankful. I see God's miracles and mercy at every turn. I am thankful for those dear to me who have turned to The Lord in their times of need and have not been ashamed!  He is Mighty and He is so faithful! We must remember to take time to be thankful, to basque in the glory of H is goodness!

Today, that is what I am doing, Trusting, learning to yield and not panic...allowing for the new things and being content when something doesn't quite go as expected? KNOWING all the while that He has my best interest at heart as well as all of those whom I care for! SUCH peace!!

Thank you LORD!!! Bless every eye that sees this, every heart that it touches belongs to YOU!

Thank you LORD for my family, for all the many blessings You have bestowed upon me, for the many things present in my life that are gifts of mercy and love by YOU! You are the treasure of this life and I am so blessed!!

before. I go, let me share with you a great APP, every Christian should have this...it's called
PrayerMate you can get it for your smartphone or your iPhone. Download it today! Prayer changes things!

Everyone, have a blessed week and stop back next week for the next Monday Morning Message!

MONDAY MORNING MESSAGE FOR The Eternal Body Of Christ 9-10-12 ~ A Kiss Amiss

Goood Morninnnnnnnnnng,

Let;s take a look at a kiss amiss...

PROVERBS 27:5-6

5 Open rebuke is betterThan love carefully concealed.

6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend,But the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.

A kiss is the ultimate token of respect & affection, a customary gesture since Biblical times. Obviously, there is an intimacy of a kiss between Husband & Wife above and beyond just a greeting where one kisses their friend on the cheek but present in all kisses is the trust or friendship affording that person the opportunity to be that close.

In the Bible there are two instances of betrayal, delivered with a kiss. Joab delivered a kiss by pulling Amasa in with one hand and thrusting a sword into the man's belly with the other. Judas' kiss, perhaps the most infamous of all, was executed on and against Jesus, that pivotal moment predicted and foretold of by Our Lord, as The Son of Man knew He was going to be betrayed.

In life, all relationships require trust; friendship, marriage & business. No body ever wants a secret enemy, hasn't everyone experienced this at some point or another? A perceived friend who truly isn't a friend at all. But here we have an example of a situation where a person might be close like a friend BUT lacking the ability to be a true friend when its needed most. I have close friends who have such respect for me that when I might have been misguided in a belief or idea have had the courage to say, Whoa!; wait a minute, this is heading in this direction and that is heading in that direction. I myself have had instances where I have had to dole out the bitter pill of truth in order to help someone from digging deeper into the trench they chose to bed down in.

Now, there is a character type to this illustration of the one who is the betrayer, they are also a person who refuses to be held accountable. We have all encountered ones such as this. They can not, will not and refuse to accept a rebuke of any kind. Who never want to be criticised, always have excuses for their actions, behaviours or mess-ups. No matter how awful the calamity or how much advise they have ignored, if you utter a word about it you are vilified & they bounce a tantrum. These are the very same people who shall betray you with a kiss. Lacking is the fiber of obligation & amenability. Their only allegiance is to their own agenda; trust, expectation & affection are simply avenues that they travel where they speed, run red lights, double park & then abandon their vehicles. Remember this, it only takes one time to distinguish them from the rest of the traffic, once you do, it's in everyone's best interest to steer away from them. If they want their own way, by all means, let them Have it!

Provers 12;15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkens unto counsel is wise.

Proverbs 21;2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD weighs the hearts.

Proverbs 16:2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jeremiah 2:19 Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that [it is] an evil [thing] and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear [is] not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.

Psalms 97:10 Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

Proverbs 12:15The way of a fool seems right to him, but a wise man listens to advice.

Galatians 6:1-2Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. [2] Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

Proverbs 27:17As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

Proverbs 12:26 A righteous man is cautious in friendship, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.

Proverbs 22:24Do not make friends with a hot-tempered man, o not associate with one easily angered,

Heavenly Father give us the wisdom and skill necessary to be a true friend, helping those whom we love and care for. Be the voice of reason and the guiding force behind all we say and do in accord with our worldly interactions. Likewise Lord, help us to realize those people and situtaions that are to be avoided, keep us from the casualties of casualness. Open our eyes to all truth, open our ears to Your words however you choose to send them to us and keep us in a proper state of receptiveness to those things which are meant for our correction. Bind the hands of the enemy as He seeks to make blood blood in firnedly circles and keep us tightly knit with those whom have proved themseleves trustworthy! In jesus Mighty name we pray AMEN!

MONDAY MORNING MESSAGE FOR The Eternal Body Of Christ 6-11-2012 ~ Gods Direction

Goooood Morninnnng,

God's word is all encompassing, as He points out to us in scripture. In that word "encompassing" we find right at the very center of that word , the word compass. The Word of God is all inclusive, relaying to us clearly what to do in all things! There is no aspect of human life & struggle that is not dealt with; from relationship matters, to finances, to personal values. His word goes beyond just instruction, it is also a place of restoration; in His word we find peace and comfort to buffer us.

Sometimes, the noise of the world and it's distractions seem to take over, to consume. We must be cautious; Don't focus on the battle so much that you loose the war! Personal set backs, disappointments, inner feelings that conflict with the message that God is nudging us with can certainly lead to you jumping that red light before it's turned green. Leading to conditions and situations worse than before your endeavor. When we purposely mis-read God's directives it is most certainly related to our impatience. We need to let God be God and hearken His call when he says; "Go", we Go, and more importantly, learn to wait and navigate through Him.

If one must seek the counsel of others; seek the counsel of wise and godly people (Proverbs 12:15; 13:10; 15:22; 20:18)

God's word is unchanging and unmoving...basically put, He is like that satellite which is fixed in on a position; it is the most solid and trust worthy fixation point we could ever have, His Holy Word. If you have swayed from your own word, it is a very good likely hood that you have swayed from His. After all, He is the Truth, the Life, and the WAY!

Seek God's word and find your way, Every Day!

Abba Father, as we traverse this world, day in and day out, help us to always look to You for accurate direction. Help us to see that the ultimate destination is our eternal home. We are strangers in a strange land, this is not out home. We diligently seek Your face and come to You with this petition of divine detour, please use whatever methods necessary to keep us on the right track, to keep us from going of course and to steer clear of some paths all together. We ask in Jesus Mighty name AMEN

"The Lord will guide you always" (see Isaiah 58:6-12)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5,6

James 3:15-17 “But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.

"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you. Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle" (Psalm 32:8,9)

2 Timothy 3:16-17

16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers;

Genesis 12 The Call of Abram

1 The LORD had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.

2 “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.[a] 3 I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”[b]

2 Timothy 3:16-17

16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Psalm 40:1-17 (King James Version)

Psalm 40

1I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

2He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

3And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.

4Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

5Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

6Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.

7Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,

8I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.

9I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest.

10I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.

11Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.

12For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.

13Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me: O LORD, make haste to help me.

14Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.

15Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.

16Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.

17But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.
