The Creator and the Created

We as humans are and were, created in God's image. We are His masterpiece.  After creating all things which were good; the universe, stars, planets, plants & animals, He saved the best for last. After all was created, He said that it was very good.

Besides being very special and unique, to all the universe and the heavens. We are able to create  &  pro-create. A special gift and attribute that our Creator shares with us.. Along with these abilities, we have the gifts of creativity, invention, spontaneous cognitive inspiration. Such splendid things we are able to conceive of and accomplish.

He had an intention for His attention toward us. That we would discover more of Him as we discovered more about how well He equipped us.

If one can admire a skyscraper and imagine the ingenuity of the architect how much more so can we attribute to the architect of all, the whole universe. The one who programs a cell and instructs a molecule. Such wondrously intricate and profound systems of organization on the smallest of scale and the grandest.

How can we harness this creativity He has equipped us with, in order to satisfy the expectation and obligation that rests upon us. Seek Him, find Him, emulate Him. and show Him to others. That is our task.

Every time you choose His way over yours, you seek Him. Every time you surrender the knowledge of the world and embrace the Godly, you find Him. Every time you allow God to mold you and work through you, you emulate Him. Every time that you allow the spirit to direct and speak, you show Him to the world. We are instruments, just as a pen is, in the hand of the Author. Without His expert mechanics applied to our lives, we are just a mere ink blob, clumsily appearing for but a time.

MONDAY MORNING MESSAGE FOR The Eternal Body Of Christ 6-11-2012 ~ Gods Direction

Goooood Morninnnng,

God's word is all encompassing, as He points out to us in scripture. In that word "encompassing" we find right at the very center of that word , the word compass. The Word of God is all inclusive, relaying to us clearly what to do in all things! There is no aspect of human life & struggle that is not dealt with; from relationship matters, to finances, to personal values. His word goes beyond just instruction, it is also a place of restoration; in His word we find peace and comfort to buffer us.

Sometimes, the noise of the world and it's distractions seem to take over, to consume. We must be cautious; Don't focus on the battle so much that you loose the war! Personal set backs, disappointments, inner feelings that conflict with the message that God is nudging us with can certainly lead to you jumping that red light before it's turned green. Leading to conditions and situations worse than before your endeavor. When we purposely mis-read God's directives it is most certainly related to our impatience. We need to let God be God and hearken His call when he says; "Go", we Go, and more importantly, learn to wait and navigate through Him.

If one must seek the counsel of others; seek the counsel of wise and godly people (Proverbs 12:15; 13:10; 15:22; 20:18)

God's word is unchanging and unmoving...basically put, He is like that satellite which is fixed in on a position; it is the most solid and trust worthy fixation point we could ever have, His Holy Word. If you have swayed from your own word, it is a very good likely hood that you have swayed from His. After all, He is the Truth, the Life, and the WAY!

Seek God's word and find your way, Every Day!

Abba Father, as we traverse this world, day in and day out, help us to always look to You for accurate direction. Help us to see that the ultimate destination is our eternal home. We are strangers in a strange land, this is not out home. We diligently seek Your face and come to You with this petition of divine detour, please use whatever methods necessary to keep us on the right track, to keep us from going of course and to steer clear of some paths all together. We ask in Jesus Mighty name AMEN

To follow Christ means to emulate!

We are so predisposed to take great caution in many areas of our lives. We wouldn’t think of leaving our car or house unlocked as we went away on errand or vacation. We are uber conscious of our wallets, belongings & assets. We are so protective of our interests that we even have insurance to cover them in the unfortunate event they become compromised, damaged, lost or stolen.

There is a VERY real and Extremely overlooked risk in the spiritual health & physical welfare of many who have been called to follow Christ. We all know what it’s like to follow someone on Twitter, right?....you don’t go to CNBC or to dogpile to accomplish the task. No, to follow a Tweeter you go directly to the source and follow them! People followed Christ long before Twitter ever tweeted! Christ has a message that has seemed to escape many people, all of whom are seeking to have Social lives but those lifestyles come into conflict with His prescribed, “Christ like” life! Ummm, its really quite simple, you follow Christ by FOLLOWING HIM!
Joshua 24: 14-15

14 “Now therefore, fear the Lord, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the Lord! 15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Jesus defines a true follower, He says we are not to conform to this world. The world says it’s OK to have premarital sex, smoke cigarettes, do recreational drugs, drink alcohol in wreckless abandon or practice unfaithfulness; not to mention a host of other self defined allowances! Beloved listen, you simply can not sew bad seed and expect a good crop! Garbage in = garbage out! What we choose, is all ours to reap! In all of these areas, the simply daily choices we make have lifetime, life altering effects.

• Exodus :19:5 – “Obey me fully and keep my covenant”
• Exodus :23:22 – “Listen carefully to what he says and do all that I say”

God can and will place a blessing over a marriage union, if its kept undefiled, honest and pure! If two people jump the gun and forego His blessings, any and all manner of dysfunction can occur; premarital pregnancy, sexually transmitted disease, lack of trust, self defeat, depression.

Proverbs 15:17 "Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith."

Malachi 2:14 "Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant."

God will sanctify the marriage and the family because of the holy life of the godly spouse (See 1Corinthians 7:12-16).

God can and will place a hedge of protection on your mental health. It’s paramount for a Christian follower to have the mind of Christ. What mind do you have if its affected by a substance? It’s a veritable gate, I tell you...your mind is the gate to your soul. Your mind and your soul are not your spirit! Your soul is attached to this world and it wants what it wants. It was born corrupted. Your Spirit is the override that must be present to keep the vehicle on the correct path! When substances come in, the spirit goeth out!

1 Corinthians 2:16 “For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

You can surely see now, the point about bad seed = bad crop, whereas good seed = good crop. Who do you think God will bless first? He who betrays because its convenient and self soothing or the one who has held their place, under an agreement that they took to heart? Every imbalance, every shortchange, misrepresentation, switcheroo and mishap is certainly not overlooked, unnoticed or out of Gods sight. Trust me when I tell you, He is ever vigilant to keep a watchful eye over the affairs of His own. Oh it may seem that the shyster has gotten the goods or the spoils of their endeavor But as sure as rain is wet, their JUST DESERTS will be a double portion loss in direct correlation to what they were not willing to do fairly!
"I will be for her an encircling wall of fire, says the Lord, and I will be the glory in her midst." —Zechariah 2:9

Jesus gave explicit instructions on how to follow him....

• Deuteronomy: 13:4 -“It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him”
• Deuteronomy:11 :27-“Obey the commands of the Lord you God that I am giving you today”
• Hebrews:5 :9-“Obey Him”
• Deuteronomy:28 :14 - “Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today”
• Mark :1:15 – “Repent and believe the Good news”
• Luke:13 :5-“But unless you repent, you too will all perish”
• Acts:2: 38 –“Repent and be baptised”
• Acts:3 :19 –“Repent”
• 2 Chronicles:20 :20 –“Have faith in the Lord your God”
• Hebrews:11 :6 –“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him”
• John:14 :1,11 –“Trust in God; trust also in Me”, ”Believe me”

Proverbs 3:5-8
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.

Abba Father, show us YOUR way, help us to desire the good and rightful things that offer life, endless joy and enrich our spirits. Help us to discern the temporary temporal things as snares and traps laid by the enemy to distract us from Your divinity. Keep the way of the wicked far from us, place obstacles and diversions between us and them, for our own good. Thank you Lord, that we may ask these things and come to you in full confidence for those provisions. We praise and worship you Lord, in spirit and truth! We are thankful to be followers, please keep us in your fold forever more, AMEN!

MONDAY MORNING MESSAGE FOR The Eternal Body Of Christ 5-21-12 (Spiritual fruit)

Two things stood out to my spirit this week, both occurring at different intervals and yet, they have a relationship in unison with what we call Spiritual Fruit.

I had been praying in the Spirit, rather boldly, over a precious child who is battling cancer. As I approached the throne of Grace, my Spirit recalled the scripture where Jesus cursed the fig tree, as He and His disciples passed by the way. The tree was barren, yielding no fruit and was as good as kindling, an obstacle more than a asset. After their time in the area came to a close, they passed by again on their way exiting; as they did so, one of the disciples pointed out the condition of the fig tree (as Christ had just the other day, cursed it). We need to recognize that as human beings we are much like a tree and God is seeking to justify what fruit we bear. Jesus is referred to as the vine and we know that as followers/believers, we are grafted in. The fruit of our life should be in season and to the edification of our life as well as others.

Mark 11: Jesus Curses a Fig Tree and Clears the Temple Courts

12 The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. 13 Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs.14 Then he said to the tree, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard him say it.

19 And when even was come, he went out of the city.
20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
21 And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is

withered away.


I called upon the spirit and brought this scripture before the throne seeking intercession for this child, pointing out that the “cancer” affecting this child is a parasite affecting the tree, cancer bears no fruit and prohibits the bearing of fruit, so we ask the Lord to curse the root of Cancer, to yank it from its foothold.

Shortly thereafter, I was reading something which prompted me to refer to the scripture where we are reminded that we will be” judged for every idle word”. Words have power, therefore, an idle word, is likened to a rotten fruit. That which was meant for blessing or edification and has been blemished, spoiled or tainted. “Waste not want not”, my Mother used to say. We are commanded to speak truth, to be kind and to share the Gospel. If we are not speaking up when the occasion calls, that is an idle word; an idle word of neglect. If we are full of condemnation for ourselves and others, we will be held accountable for those also. We also know that God is the reader of hearts. No words escape our mouths that were not first born in the incubator of the heart/mind/soul. From the platform of it’s inception, we are also held accountable, for words thought as well as spoken.

(Acts 15:8). “For the LORD searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts”

(1 Chronicles 28:9). “For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart”

(Hebrews 4:12). (1 John 3:20) For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.

Luke 6:45

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Matthew 12;34

O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

In the parable of the fig tree, Christ quickly points out a very empowering, engaging and liberating fact. He says, next;

22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23 “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” [26]

Here, in this segment of scripture we have the platform of the heart again, what is believed can not be feigned. We alone can not change our beliefs and collateral in faith, only through submission to Christ along with careful observation of God’s Sovereign Grace and infallible promises. Forgive to be forgiven. believe to receive.

Why did the Lord leave us these words, in this book we call the Bible? To help us, to govern us, to comfort us and mostly to empower us! There is one more promise the spirit has called out to me to remind you of, grab hold of this and claim this yours from the Lord.

Jeremiah 33:3 Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you know not.

Abba Father, maker of all good gifts, reader of our hearts. Search us, point out to us that which needs to be pruned. Help us to keep the fruit of our vine in perfect condition for the edification of our entire being. Reveal to us Your great mysteries, show us your Glory and lead us to the knowledge of how to obtain your favor and mercy for ourselves as well as those for whom we pray, In Jesus Mighty name AMEN
