MONDAY MORNING MESSAGE For The Eternal Body Of Christ - Even if you have a "Lot" to loose, don't look back!

Goood Morninnnnnnng,

Proverbs 23:4-5

4 Do not toil to acquire wealth;
be discerning enough to desist.
5 When your eyes light on it, it is gone,
for suddenly it sprouts wings,
flying like an eagle toward heaven.

Even if you have a LOT to loose, don't look back like Lot's wife did!....

Proverbs 23:4 “Labor not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.” Our own wisdom has us believing that we can override God sometimes, our own wisdom may lead us to an opportunity of financial gain but unless it falls under the dominion of what God would ordain, it is a wrong course. Our agenda and intention should be in obedient submission to God, with the heart of a servant toward what he may lead us into or out of, for that matter. Sometimes, in our excitement, or in the distractions of deceitfulness of others, we may be led into something that seems so wonderful, financially and socially; sometimes, though, it's just a stepping stone to the lesson or to the next course.

Proverbs 23:5Shalt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings’ they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.” Nothing is more fleeting than money, for all its power and possession, some end up becoming owned by it than the other way around. If we always keep our focus on the Real provider, the one who qualified us in any endeavor and the one who promotes us, we then have a grounded perspective on our state of affairs. God can open doors that others can't shut and He can shut doors that others cant open! Riches, wealth, money, opportunity and favour are all separate things. When you are aligned with the Lord, He can bless you with an ample amount of all of them, when you are not in alignment, He can use one to remove all the others and the whole paradigm can crumble like a house of cards.

God can and will bring us discernment, if we are willing to listen. A warning of news that is unsettling, could lead to financial hardship, sure... but we must know that when He closes one He opens another. A warning ignored can lead to financial ruin. Wilful ignorance is not an option when the spirit of God uncovers a deception. All that glitters isn't always gold, sometimes it's just cheap imitation glitter meant to distract and coerce others into a grander scheme, where the innocent, hard working, needy people are vulnerable. Don't work hard, work smart, consult the LORD in every decision and when HE says turn around, it's not what you think, You ought to listen!

Every life will have its share of lack and of surplus, its all a preparation for the lessons contained in each. When we finally surrender to God's protection and provision, we come to realize that He is the best advisor we have, toward our financial health and our spiritual wealth. If we trust Him in Faith and offer Him the confidence of calm, He will show us our path, He will bring provision, discernment and confirmations of truth. The first INGREDIENT in honesty is truth, the second is disclosure, the third is transparency. Example, if it's a "straw" say it's a straw, don't call it a "pneumatic transference device" and claim it to be something new!

Truth is that God is the maker of all, originator and creator of wealth and money! We can pursue Him and He can gift to us all that we need or we can pursue it directly in our own wisdom and loose sight of Him. He may allow some to get so much on their own, in their own pursuit, that they place their trust in the physical (as if it had some power) it doesn't. It can't save your life or buy you more time. In those cases its misplaced trust. A moderate supply, with a proper respect for God, is much better than an ample supply and not enough sense to know how feeble it truly is.

2 Peter 1:4-8
"Whereby are given unto us Exceeding Great And Precious Promises:
that by These ye might be partakers of the Divine Nature,
having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience Godliness;
And to Godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
For if these things be in you, and abound,
They make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful
in the Knowledge of our LORD Jesus Christ."

The Lord will open doors that no man can close, and close doors that no man can open! (Rev.3:8)

  • Ps. 55:22 "Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and He shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved."

  • Ps. 16:5 "The LORD is The Portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: Thou maintainest my lot."

  • Ps. 73:26 "My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is The Strength Of My Heart, and my Portion for ever."

  • Ps. 119:57 "Thou art my Portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep Thy Words."
  • 1 Cor. 2:9 "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."

  • Ps. 104:27-28 "These wait all upon Thee; that Thou mayest give them their meat in due season. That Thou givest them they gather: Thou openest Thine hand, they are filled with good."

  • Ps. 145:15-16 "The eyes of all wait upon Thee; and Thou givest them their meat in due season. Thou openest Thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing."
  • Ps. 23:5,6 "Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the House of the LORD for ever."

Abba Father, give us the courage and wisdom that leads to fullness of Life in direct obedience to your word, reveal your truth to us in the measure and methods that you know are best. Keep us firmly planted and rooted in your righteousness. Guide us and deliver us from the snares of the enemy. Let all things that were hidden be uprooted and uncovered, where the light of truth can illuminate dividing fact from fiction, as we cast out the works of the devil and all his devices; affliction, addiction, deception. distraction, greed, hype and hypocrisy. Lord, we praise you and we Exalt you that you are able to bind the works of the enemy and set free the captives of their trappings. In Jesus Name we pray, AMEN!

MONDAY MORNING MESSAGE FOR The Eternal Body Of Christ 8-13-12 Grace Not Law

Goood Morninnnnng

Romans 6:14
14 For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.

We simply can never qualify for Heaven under any means whatsoever, EXCEPT for that which has been done for us through the death of Christ and the adoption of faith in our confession to accept Him as our Saviour. In our natural state, we are hostile to the ways & laws of God. The sin (although not completely eliminated from our earthly life) is neutralized by His restitution on our behalf. Where sin might have had a strong hold on us before, we now have a help, a chance, a strength to overcome from the source of ALL. Even when we fall short, we fall under the blanket of Grace not condemnation.

We are united with Christ and under that Grace but we are also instructed on how to conduct ourselves in general while operating under that Grace. We are expected to stay away from those influences that we KNOW are a slippery slope. That Grace not only covers us but it also gentle nudges us in the direction of Holiness! The trappings of the old way of life simply have lost their appeal. The heart that's grafted in Christ now attains to seek an ultimate corrective path.

“Do not present your members to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments for righteousness. For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace. What then? Are we to sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness?” (Rom. 6:14-15).

We know that every law has a penalty. If broken, the infraction has repercussions. In the law of God, the wages of sin is death. If one were to die while in sin or unrepentant prior sin, the inevitable truth would be eternal damnation, as nothing corrupt could ever escape God's perfect law. How terrible the ultimate end is for any who wind up facing the law without an advocate in Christ Jesus!

We are to be mindful of this, in our every day interactions with those in the world, mercy is needed, exhortation and guidance. When our efforts or words of direction to guide them toward Christ might fail short we can always pray. Most importantly OUR LIVING witness is the best calling card we could ever carry.

Abba Father, we thank you for the Grace that covers us, we seek to honour and glorify YOU, help us to remain steadfast in our confession and the manner in which we conduct ourselves. Help us to always surrender to Your perfect will which will never mislead us. When we rely upon ourselves and our own understanding, we always find something corrupt entangled with what we attempted to do. When we first seek your approval, that discretion becomes a safety zone that we may operate under with full confidence. Thank you Father for the provision of Grace, we offer you praise for your goodness and mercy!

Christ, however, offered one sacrifice for sins, an offering that is effective for ever, and then he sat down at the right-hand side of God. … 17And then he [God] says, “I will not remember their sins and evil deeds any longer.” So when these have been forgiven, an offering to take away sins is no longer needed.Hebrews 10:12, 17-18

“And from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ” (Jn. 1:16).

(Gal 3:9) So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

(Gal 3:10) For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

(Gal 3:11) But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
(Gal 3:12) And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

(Gal 3:13) Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

(Gal 3:14) That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

For the law possesses a shadow of the good things to come but not the reality itself, and is therefore completely unable, by the same sacrifices offered continually, year after year, to perfect those who come to worship.Hebrews 10:1

Thus the law had become our guardian until Christ, so that we could be declared righteous by faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian. Galatians 3:24-25

MONDAY MORNING MESSAGE FOR The Eternal Body Of Christ 8-612 ~ To love knowledge and walk with the Lord!

Gooood Morninnnnnng,

To love knowledge and walk with the Lord!
Let’s have a deeper look at these two verses in Proverbs...

Proverbs 12:1 - 2
12:1 Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge,
but he who hates reproof is stupid.
2 A good man obtaineth favour of the Lord: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.

There is something to be said for the state of affairs that a man experiences when he is in that place of obedience to the Lord. Where God’s grace rests upon him, in his life, lessons and leisure.

Some of the most record breaking baseball players have one thing in common, the amount of times they have struck out far exceeds the amount that they hit. Similar to this, the heart that is transfixed upon service to the Lord is eagerly attuned to God’s yay or nay over his life. There is a love of that knowledge, that word that liberates and sears at the same time. It’s in the practical applications as well as the deeper truths where the child of God finds security in that knowledge. Without correction, mistakes would keep children from learning to walk and would stifle just about any activity we ever attempted.

We all know what it’s it like to be forced to wear a seatbelt when driving and it can feel quite restrictive, until you are in a near car wreck and discover it to be the limiting force that saves your life. The more seasoned you become in God’s word, the more you will recognize the many things He has put in place to protect you. Just as any good parent, God’s rules are there for protection but there is also a side of grace, where when you are walking in it, it becomes His good pleasure to rain down blessings of favor upon your life. Those that seek to avoid God’s restrictions, guidance and grace are beyond foolish, they are stupid which in this case means unteachable, reprobate and full or reproach.

In verse two we all can relate to knowing and or seeing someone who will do anything to get ahead, get over or get what they want. Their devices may be clever, cunning or cruel BUT rest assured, God is aware and nothing goes unnoticed. There is an expression relating to pride, that goes like this; “Pride cometh before a Fall” (truly, God can humble a man in an instant). Very much in keeping with this, is the notion & exhortation by God’s word, that the wicked, in all their getting, can not obtain God’s favor, grace or protection. The bigger they are the harder they fall! The spoils of the wicked will always come to nought!

The lesson here...keep striving to stay obedient. Keep looking for the areas in your life where you feel restraint (that is God working in your heart and life). If you are aware of something that is to be avoided, do your best to avoid it. Seek God’s word on the blessings and benefits associated with walking in his favor on the subject. The pain of discipline is always better than the pain of regret.

Colossians 1:10

10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

John 15:8

8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

2 Timothy 3:12

12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

Romans 5:9

9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Revelation 21: 6-7

6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
